I’ve got a VIP post that you should read this afternoon that focuses on Elon Musk’s attempts to avoid Armageddon. If you don’t subscribe, please do. It will help HotAir keep publishing until Joe Biden gets us all blown up.
In this post I will argue the obvious, though: every single one of us should be focused on avoiding Armageddon, because I am afraid that we are waltzing our way to the end of civilization.
Let’s set the stage: Joe Biden casually dropped a bomb at a fundraiser. Not a nuclear bomb…yet…but quite a bombshell:
The world is facing a nuclear Armageddon. We are at the deadliest point in human history since
Look for the use of a tactical nuclear weapon by the U.S. via the proxy Ukrainians.... this will be a false flag to blame Russia for using nuclear weapons. Putin said he would use retaliatory nuclear weapons IF Russia was attacked with nuclear weapons.

The author, David Strom, makes no mention of the 2013/14 coup in Ukraine staged and managed by the U.S. State Department and CIA. The coup against the duly elected President of Ukraine, Yanukovych, led directly to this current civil war. Ask yourself WHY did the U.S. do this? How is the U.S. participation different than Russia's participation?
I have to confess shame for the actions of my government. We did this. We fractured the fragile democracy in Ukraine in that dreadful coup.. May God forgive us for the destruction of life and property in a country far removed from our borders for no good reason.

For those of us who lived through spectre of nuclear annihilation during the Cold War, or served at the "tip of the nuclear spear," I'm suffering from "the threat of nuclear war fatigue syndrome." Keep in mind, there are Commies who don't want their gravy train destroyed too.

They used to say that the threat of nuclear was what caused teenage drug use. That's not a threat today because our youth has been so indoctrinated with climate change they think the world is going to end soon anyway.

Putin lives in the dream of the old Soviet Union he said he would retaliate if the blowhard, idiot Biden or NATO countries supply Ukraine with tactical nukes. Let's hope Putin is the sane one and mouthy Joe Biden just shuts up.

And so sits back the cat quietly gazing at the aquarium.
The cat would be China.

Same here #3. I've lived through the cold war nuke threat too. My days of hiding under a desk or curled up in a ball on the hall floor of a school are over.

The only Armageddon occurring is in Biden's brain tissue.

The problem with cheerleaders is that their chants are mindless, intended to incite the involved crowd to carry their team to victory. There's no thought, just ritual. And for every team exhorted to the win, there is another that loses, sometime after blowing a big lead and having been favored. Coaches often get fired unceremoniously.
Few of those Ukraine cheerleaders thought the blue and gold would stop and then push back the highly-favored Russkies. No, they were chanting for NATO/US direct involvement from the beginning on the basis that "freedom" was going to lose and the West has an obligation. Didn't matter to them that the West ignored its obligations to Russia regarding NATO expansion. NATO's only purpose is to ensnare that bear.
Now the blessed Ukrainians are winning, perhaps routing those evil Russians and Putin. And how far will this go? To reclaim "Russian territory" stolen by referenda? To the gates of Moscow? Either way, there is no off-ramp for Putin except defeat, and defeat is not tolerable given the promise and expense this escapade brought. It truly exposed the vaunted Russian military's second-tier status, if it ranks that high. Take away the nuclear capacity, and they're nobodies. And there's the rub. That nuclear capacity makes them contenders, and the question now is whether they continue to sheath that power, or use it.
Putin isn't in his bunker yet, but the time is approaching. Those oligarchs want their yachts back and the victorious riches one would think promised them. Time is ticking.

Reply #2, I was there in country months before that, and know MANY who were involved. Your claim sounds cool on the internet, I call BS. I know many Ukrainian scientists and their families who were part of that months long Maidan demonstration, and their bodies, dead and wounded were laid out in the lobby of the hotel that I had stayed in only a few months earlier.
No need for CIA egging anyone on. Lots of Ukrainians were WAY fed up, and the damned Russian snipers killing people in their Independence Square (Maidan) was the last straw.

The conspiracy theorists are hilarious. And they take themselves so seriously.

There is not going to be a nuclear war.
And so many people seem that they will be disappointed when it doesn't happen.
