Doomsday for Democrats in Nevada

Original Article

To this point, the US Senate race in Pennsylvania has taken top billing in election-related discussions. Republican Mehmet Oz had closed the gap with Democrat John Fetterman to make it a true toss-up as the latter’s health issues have started to weigh on the electorate. But there’s another race going on that is not only just as big but appears to be favoring the GOP in a way that could ultimately deliver control of the Senate. I’m talking about Nevada, where Republican Adam Laxalt is facing off against Democrat incumbent Sen. Catherine Cortez-Mastro. Sunday delivered another round of fresh polling, and Republicans are winning across the board.

Sadly, the Demon-Rats mastered the art of election theft in 2020 -- without a whimper of complaint from the mainstream Republi-Can'ts!!! So for any Republican to be safe beyond the Demon-Rat "margin of election theft", he or she had better be up by at least 15 points in the latest polls!!!

Something no one is talking about, at least that I’m aware of, is gas prices have jumped a lot here recently in Northern NV. I just got back from driving to the SF Bay Area and the price of gas in NV is the same at California’s Central Valley. It is still more in the Bay Area, but only by about $.20. NV used to be $1 to $1.50 less than Cali. It doesn’t matter which political party you belong to, everyone knows gas prices are higher because of Democrats. It is really starting to hurt people. They will be voting their pocketbook. It’s the economy, stupid!

Laxałt and Lombardo should beat the Democrat Governor Sisolak and Democrat Masto because inflation, crime, and immigration are at the top of voters’ lists, and the democrats have been in lockstep with Biden. I’m hoping the polls start to show the Republicans ahead more than they are now. I always take polls with a grain of salt because the democrats always manage to “win” close races.

Actually, Fetterman is getting a small percentage of the sympathy vote because of his stroke but his screwy ideas are what is getting him whipped. No jail for violent criminals and legal access to all of the dangerous drugs on the market does not appeal to anybody but violent criminals and hopeless drug addicts. He truly is a basement-dwelling nerd with no experience at anything and his artificially high poll numbers come from polling people like him. As mentioned above, Nevada will go red if the cheating is controlled. That caveat is pretty much applied to the entire country since the democrats are living in the state of Desperation.

It’s not that I don’t believe in polling results in real time, it’s that polling results do not always predict the winner. If I recall correctly, Sharron Angle, who had the endorsement of the Las Vegas Review Journal, was ahead by a few percentage points over Harry Reid a couple of days before the election for Senator. She lost by 5 percentage points. Democrat shenanigans at play? For sure.

I recall reading that voting machines are set up in casinos, so that casino employees don't have to go far to vote. And they don't have to miss any work. (Casino employees are overwhelmingly dimocrat.) I also recall reading that Hillary's operatives played all sorts of games in rigging the primary vote in Nevada, in 2016.

Nevada is an unbelievably corrupt place. I doubt Nevada has the ability to do anything honest. Their only saving grace is no state income tax.

Trump goes to Supreme Court over Mar-a-Lago

Former President Donald Trump has asked the Supreme Court to intervene in the dispute over materials marked as classified the FBI seized from his Mar-a-Lago estate this summer. His emergency request with the Supreme Court is the latest example of the former President seeking to involve the justices in investigations that entangle him – at a time when the high court’s legitimacy in politically explosive cases is under intense scrutiny. Trump is specifically asking the court to ensure that the more than 100 documents marked as classified are part of the special master’s review. The request, if granted, could bolster the former President’s attempt to challenge the search in court

Elon Musk has sent Twitter a letter proposing to buy the social-media company for his original offer price of $54.20 a share, after spending months trying to back out of the initial deal, according to a new report. Sources told Bloomberg News Musk has offered to buy Twitter, just weeks before he was set to appear in court to fight a lawsuit the company filed over his efforts to pull out of the $44 billion deal. Twitter’s stock price briefly shot up as high as 18 percent on the news before trading was suspended. Musk first began trying to pull the plug on the deal in July.

On Monday evening's edition of CNN Tonight, Republican political strategist and CNN commentator Scott Jennings did some well-deserved mocking of the leftist media's cries of illegitimacy when it comes to the institution of the Supreme Court. He chalked their constant kvetching to the fact that they're "just mad that they're not getting their way every time." Since the media is dominated by leftists, that's not surprising. For all their talk of democracy, the democratic institutions in the United States are only legitimate when they work at the left's behest.

Jonathan Capehart, a Washington Post columnist and MSNBC host, is arguing that Democrats need to retake the high ground on patriotism. It really bugs him that people associate patriotism with Republicans, while it is the Democrats who are the real patriots. Yeah right. I have no idea why anybody would think that Democrat leaders and commentators aren’t patriotic. Maybe because of statements like this: Capehart’s argument is not uncommon, of course. Democrats have been frustrated by the fact that Republicans have been more successful with patriotic messaging than they since at least the 60’s. Kennedy clearly was very patriotic with his messaging, but ever since Democrats have been associated

MSNBC's Rev. Al Sharpton said Monday that Democrats are having a hard time "connecting" and that former President Donald Trump and abortion were the only reasons they were "in the game." "The question is are Democrats doing what it makes to keep those who have loyally voted Republican, are Democratic voting Democratic because right now, you have people of color breaking away from the Democratic Party and you have white college educated suburban voters breaking away from Republicans, so it’s creating a real flux," "Morning Joe" host Joe Scarborough said. Sharpton said the concern among the Congressional Black Caucus was about how they're connecting the "base to the message."

With each passing day, the media narrative of a “Democrat comeback” ahead of the midterm elections drifts further and further away from reality. This week has been no exception. As we previously reported, according to even recent Democrat-friendly polls, there has been a marked shift back in the GOP’s direction on generic Congressional balloting and polling on party control preference, with Republicans surging ahead. In addition to that, on top of the woes Democrats have seen with Hispanic voters steadily abandoning the party over concerns about their obsession with wokeness comes news that Democrats are increasingly falling out of favor with black voters as well, and by just enough margins
Supreme Court Declines to Hear Challenge

The Supreme Court on Monday declined to hear a legal challenge to the Biden administration’s vaccine mandate for health-care workers at facilities that receive federal funds. The justices rejected an appeal submitted by the plaintiffs, including ten mostly Republican-controlled states, after a lower court declined to hear their petition. The vast majority of health-care workers nationwide, 10.4 million, are subject to the mandate, although there are medical and religious exemptions. In January, the court struck down President Biden’s vaccine requirement for private sector companies with 100 or more employees but it preserved the health-care-worker mandate pending litigation at the lower court level.

Former FBI official Peter Strzok was fired in disgrace after concerning anti-Trump messages between himself and FBI lawyer Lisa Page came to light. He is suing, claiming that his privacy was violated and alleging wrongful termination. He is claiming his firing was political and his attorneys deposed the guy who fired him, David Bowdich, who was the deputy director of the FBI. Part of the DOJ response was to attach a draft of the letter for Strzok’s firing to show he wasn’t fired for political reasons. The letter is a brutal takedown, outlining how bad what Strzok did was and how much it hurt the reputation of the FBI, according to Bowdich.
