It has been five years since Stephen Paddock stashed an arsenal of weapons in his Las Vegas hotel room and began spraying outdoor concertgoers with more than a thousand rounds of rifle fire, killing 58 people and wounding 869. Since the Oct. 1, 2017, massacre, there’s been neither an official nor satisfactory explanation for why Paddock took his assorted rifles and shot those country music fans. But now, an FBI whistleblower believes he has the motive. Las Vegas Police issued a 138-page report on the shooting yet kicked over to the FBI and their experts

Proving that the paper isn’t worthy to line a birdcage, The New York Times ran a disgusting and hateful piece Tuesday night suggesting that because Florida Republicans Governor Ron DeSantis, and Senators Marco Rubio and Rick Scott won’t go along with the Democrat Party’s radical agenda to fight “climate change”, the state somehow deserved to be ravaged by Hurricane Ian and that the leaders were somehow personally responsible for the destruction and loss of life.
Typing up this propaganda article on behalf of their Democrat Party, “reporters” Christopher Flavelle and Jonathan Weisman ran with the title “Florida Leaders Rejected Major Climate Laws. Now They’re Seeking Storm Aid.”

On Tuesday’s broadcast of CNN’s “The Lead,” CNN Senior National Security Correspondent Alex Marquardt reported that the White House is “panicking” over the prospect that OPEC will cut oil production and is engaging in a “furious, last-ditch, wide-scale effort” to lobby against a production cut.
Marquardt said that, according to a “U.S. official,” “the White House, in fact, is panicking, that this is something that they desperately do not want to happen. Cutting oil production means higher oil prices, it means higher gas prices. That, of course, is something that the Biden administration does not want to happen right now. So, tomorrow, there’s this meeting of the oil-producing countries,

Gas prices have begun to rise again throughout the nation by more than 50 cents in the last week, plaguing Democrats who were likely hoping those prices would not factor into the minds of voters before the midterm election.
According to AAA data, gas prices in California have increased 52 cents from last week to $6.412 per gallon. In Arizona, a battleground state with a high-profile midterm race, gas prices have jumped over 30 cents in one week. In the all-important swing state of Nevada, gas prices have gone up nearly 40 cents in the last seven days. And in Washington State, where Republicans could upset Democrats in the Senate race

This is one of those stories where if you’d told me about this as little as ten years ago I’d have accused you of falling victim to conspiracy theories. But in 2022 it took me all of a second or two before I nodded my head and said to myself, ‘yep. That checks out.’ The report in question, available at The Daily Wire, finds that fundraising emails from Republican groups and candidates are vastly more likely to wind up in the spam folders of G-mail users than similar broadcasts from Democratic outfits. The volume of these emails was staggering, measuring in the millions or tens of millions

There was a new Monmouth poll out yesterday which indicated a general trend in polling in favor of the GOP after a summer in which Democrats seemed to recover from their previous doldrums. Today, the NY Times sees evidence of that shift having an impact on Senate races, particularly the ones in Wisconsin and Pennsylvania.
On average, Republicans have gained three points across 19 post-Labor Day polls of the key Senate battleground states, compared with pre-Labor Day polls of the same states by the same pollsters.
The shift is similar to what we observed a few weeks ago. What’s changed with more data: We can be sure

As we noted earlier, despite various Democrat “comeback” narratives that the MSM and the Very Online Left have been trying to push for months, unless a miracle happens Democrats look set to lose their majority in the House and possibly even the Senate, with Joe Biden’s approval ratings still languishing in the low to mid-40s and Congressional generic balloting once again favoring the GOP. One reason for all the talk of a “resurgence” in support for Democrats was the June decision by the Supreme Court to overturn Roe v. Wade, which stirred up a boiling cauldron of outrage amongst The Usual Suspects for who the “right” to terminate

Former President Donald Trump has asked the Supreme Court to intervene in the dispute over materials marked as classified the FBI seized from his Mar-a-Lago estate this summer.
His emergency request with the Supreme Court is the latest example of the former President seeking to involve the justices in investigations that entangle him – at a time when the high court’s legitimacy in politically explosive cases is under intense scrutiny.
Trump is specifically asking the court to ensure that the more than 100 documents marked as classified are part of the special master’s review. The request, if granted, could bolster the former President’s attempt to challenge the search in court

Elon Musk has sent Twitter a letter proposing to buy the social-media company for his original offer price of $54.20 a share, after spending months trying to back out of the initial deal, according to a new report.
Sources told Bloomberg News Musk has offered to buy Twitter, just weeks before he was set to appear in court to fight a lawsuit the company filed over his efforts to pull out of the $44 billion deal.
Twitter’s stock price briefly shot up as high as 18 percent on the news before trading was suspended. Musk first began trying to pull the plug on the deal in July.

On Monday evening's edition of CNN Tonight, Republican political strategist and CNN commentator Scott Jennings did some well-deserved mocking of the leftist media's cries of illegitimacy when it comes to the institution of the Supreme Court. He chalked their constant kvetching to the fact that they're "just mad that they're not getting their way every time." Since the media is dominated by leftists, that's not surprising. For all their talk of democracy, the democratic institutions in the United States are only legitimate when they work at the left's behest.

Jonathan Capehart, a Washington Post columnist and MSNBC host, is arguing that Democrats need to retake the high ground on patriotism. It really bugs him that people associate patriotism with Republicans, while it is the Democrats who are the real patriots.
Yeah right. I have no idea why anybody would think that Democrat leaders and commentators aren’t patriotic. Maybe because of statements like this: Capehart’s argument is not uncommon, of course. Democrats have been frustrated by the fact that Republicans have been more successful with patriotic messaging than they since at least the 60’s. Kennedy clearly was very patriotic with his messaging, but ever since Democrats have been associated
