Americans fear rising costs will worsen if Democrats retain control of Congress after the midterm election, an Axios-Ipsos poll found over the weekend. Experts project inflation will cost American families $5,520 in 2022. Since the Democrats assumed control of the legislative and executive branches of government, Americans have lost $4,200 in annual income, a recent Heritage Foundation study shows. Sixty-one percent of general election voters believe the economy is in a recession. According to the Ipsos poll, 43 percent of Americans fear that inflation will continue to soar under Democrat rule if the party remains in power on Capitol Hill. (Snip) The survey included 356 Republicans, 449 Democrats, and 126 independents.

That's the plan. Multi-trillion dollar thefts from American citizens to have plenty of WAM for the democrats to give away to deadbeats, drug addicts, minority victims, the homeless and climate change fanatics.

my greatest fear, concerning this 2022 election, is even if the repubs do take the House and Senate, will they have the gumption to manhandle the demcommies and drive them into nothingness? the repubs have never been able to stand up to the demcommies who are the more blustery and determinative in how they operate, something the repubs should take as an example of how to get what you want without begging, which the repubs always seem to be doing on most issues

Getting Congress back won't reduce inflation, because grampa bad finger is still in the White House. What it will do is end the prolific spending. Until the Republicans decide to re-build weapons inventories.

Nothing is going to move after the 2022 election if the republicans taking both house and senate. With the Vegetable still in charge, open southern border, along with the green movement fully funded nothing will take place. Hunter Biden can smoke his crack pipe in peace. I don't have any faith in the spineless republicans I still remember them with Paul Ryan as speaker, just a dud, when they could have backed the party president but didn't. Color me not excited at all.

What will Republicans do if they take back Congress? Wring their hands? The propaganda news networks will immediately blame the Republicans for everything. After all, they are in charge. Taking back Congress won't fix the problem in our Whitehouse. Executive orders anyone?

It will be little different if the GOPe takes control. In 1994 they were promising balanced budgets. In 2022 they're promising to cut "wasteful" spending. Big difference. Read their Commitment document and you'll see their own "good" spending. Start with 200,000 cops...who's gonna foot the bill on that? Who are these police going to work for...the Feds? The cities that aren't hiring aren't hiring. It's a local issue to be settled locally. The GOP should have just gone back to '94 to fulfill their unfinished contract.

Gee, ya think. Just look at where we were just three years ago, three short years ago. The country was humming along like a well oiled engine clicking on all cylinders. Now, in less than three years DEMOCRATS have destroyed a once great country. And, the world is in turmoil, there is not leadership. There is no longer a world leader who sets the example. Every phase of our society, including our children are under attack from those who hate our way of life. Remember, "They are who they want you to hate", it's that freakin simple. Got it.

Hard facts: 1) even if Republicans win both the House and Senate, there will almost certainly be no ability to override a Presidential veto, so while new hellish laws will stop, no corrective laws will be passed while Traitor Joe occupies the WH. 2) The Senate and House leaders (McC and McC) are pure Uniparty, and have NO interest in significantly rocking the boat, and certainly NO interest in Trump returning. They will work hard to stop Trump, and avoid any damage to the Deep State/Uniparty folks and their money scamming projects.

Re #13, nothing can be done with a obstructionist president unless 2/3 of both houses of Congress vote to override his veto. Since the chances of getting 2/3 to agree on the color of the sky is questionable, anything more controversial than that will be dead. The best we can hope for is two years of complete logjam in Congress, at least they won't be actively making things worse.....I hope. McC and McC may decide to work with Dems to screw things up even more, but I tend to doubt it. I could be wrong.

If Republicans get a majority I expect nothing will change. The GOP has neither the integrity nor the courage to shut down the corruption. It is going to take revolutionary action.

Even among the most extreme Democratic secretaries of state, Michigan’s Jocelyn Benson stands out. A former employee of the left-wing Southern Poverty Law Center and Democratic National Committee, Benson’s a committed Democratic activist. And as Michigan’s secretary of state during the chaotic 2020 presidential election, Benson played a key role in making last-minute changes to election law to bolster Democratic voter turnout and swing Michigan in then-candidate Joe Biden’s favor. When a $12 million grant from Mark Zuckerberg — “Zuckbucks” — was funneled to Michigan through the left-wing Center for Election Innovation and Research

Six months into Russia’s invasion of Ukraine the unthinkable has happened: Russia is losing. Vladimir Putin is determined, nevertheless, and increasingly desperate. He has undertaken a partial mobilization, formally annexed four regions of Ukraine and renewed his threat of using nuclear weapons — “I’m not kidding.” Is the threat real? And if so, how should the United States respond? Russia has a substantial nuclear arsenal, including strategic missiles and bombers and a new autonomous torpedo designed to explode in harbors to create a massive tsunami. These warheads’ explosive powers range in the hundreds of thousands to several million tons of TNT equivalent.

A panel of energy ministers of the OPEC+ alliance of oil-exporting countries on Wednesday agreed to recommend a historically large cut in output, a stinging rebuke to the Biden administration that is likely to mean higher prices at gas pumps in the United States and Europe. The alliance, which is led by Saudi Arabia and includes Russia, is meeting in Vienna to negotiate the largest production cut since the pandemic first struck. The energy ministers who comprise the cartel’s Joint Ministerial Monitoring Committee recommended a cut of two million barrels per day in the group’s overall production. A final decision will be voted on later on Wednesday.
