Hurricane Ian is set to unleash more devastation as it whips up sea water in the Atlantic before targeting South Carolina after battering Florida this morning and overnight.
The monster tempest is expected to recharge from a tropical storm back into a Category 1 hurricane as it angles northwards towards the top of the Sunshine State, the south of Georgia and South Carolina.
The region is also braced for more storm surges that could see huge quantities of water dumped on major cities such as Jacksonville, Savannah and Charlotte.
It comes as Joe Biden warned Ian could be the 'deadliest' hurricane in Florida's history

The Galveston hurricane of 1900 killed over 6000.
Sounds like our media and Democrat friends WANT to see a great loss of life. I pray that the casualties are few, but many coastal areas have been developed and many of the residents are unaware of the great damage these storms can cause to life and property. Property is replaceable. Life is not.
I remember one storm that was going to hit South Padre Island. The police chief recommended that you evacuate the island. But if you did not, he suggested that you come to the police department to be fingerprinted so that it would be easier to identify your remains.

Does anyone really care what Biteme has to say? Biteme's braindead and he wasn't even in a storm.

Even Gov. DeSantis said that "there are no mulligans" in a hurricane. It's better to have been wrong and inconveniced by a trip away from home than to ignore the warnings, stay and risk your life.

No way a modern storm can get anywhere near the loss of life from the old storms when a hurricane came "out of nowhere" every single time.

Typical democrat plan take the first out of context lie of the day from GMA and repeat forever even if debunked. Just like Charlottesville, there were people with torches etc….. The Lee County Sheriff said on air and later came back and said had no way to confirms those deaths. DeSantis set it straight but the Democrats are banking on another Katrina outcome to place blame.

The Taino people of the Caribbean islands had the word "hurakan" in their vocabulary to describe the god of the storm long before Europeans arrived. There have been deadly storm long before Climate Change mythology ever existed.

During his speech at FEMA Headquarters it was evident from Biden’s voice cadences and stare that he was reading the facts that he threw out there off some sort of hidden teleprompter. Beyond that, I thought that I heard Biden claim that anyone in Florida who had his or her motor vehicle damaged or destroyed by the hurricane who did not have motor vehicle insurance to cover the sustained loss would be reimbursed by the Federal Government up to $37,900.00 to replace their totaled motor vehicle, and essentially Biden went on to say that it would be the same with homeowners without homeowner’s insurance to replace or repair their homes. If Biden orders FEMA to rush and hand out that cash to anyone who makes such claims before the midterm election, obviously to in effect buy votes for the Democrats, imagine the amounts of fraud that will be perpetrated against the US government?
Any Democrat operative or politician who claims that future Democrat political climate change agendas will reverse so-called climate change that is being claimed by the Democrats for causing big hurricanes and other natural disasters, is in effect telling you that only the Democrats can change nature. In the history of the world, no politician or political operative has been able to do that, and common sense will tell you that today’s leftist Democrats will not be able to change nature either. Only “the man” upstairs can change nature.

Why aren’t these people evacuating? I've seen dozens of videos of people in Florida being rescued, in the middle of the storm, from their cars and their boats. What in God’s name were these idiots doing out there?
