Chevron is selling its global headquarters in California as it continues to move its operations and employees to Texas, The Wall Street Journal reported Wednesday. The oil giant sold 92 acres of offices in San Ramon as its workers continue to relocate to its Houston campus, where it has three times the number of employees that California has, according to the WSJ. Chevron will follow in the footsteps of other large companies like Tesla and American Airlines that have left California in recent years for various reasons. “The current real estate market provides the opportunity to right-size our office space to meet the requirements of our headquarters-based employee population,”

Chevron now has a field office in California. California has been unsafe for business for decades. California taxes worldwide income, not just California. Just moving of the state adds 20% to the bottom line, and a 35% reduction in expenses. Leaving the state is the most profitable action any California company can make.

#8, leftists, almost by definition, cannot reason very well. My late best friend, decades befoire he developed dementia, believed that a Company should not be allowed to leace a State. He also beleived that a Company should not be allowed to shut down - that it had to stay open, in a losing position. And when I asked him how the Company could stay alive and open, when they ran out of money, he just shrugged.

The $250 million lawsuit filed on Sept. 21 accuses the Trump Organization of vast fraud for allegedly falsely inflating his net worth by manipulating the value of some of his prized assets — including his numerous golf courses, hotels and homes. Trump, who has dismissed the suit as a “witch hunt,” blasted James for going after his company while violent crime surges in New York City at the rally at Macomb Community College in Warren.

Five men were arrested on June 17, 1972, while trying to bug the Democratic National Committee’s headquarters at the Watergate, a hotel and office building in Washington, D.C. A day later, Richard Nixon’s White House press secretary Ronald Ziegler famously called the Watergate break-in a “third-rate burglary.” More than two years later, on August 8, 1974, that “third-rate burglary” led to Nixon’s resignation.
