Survey: Half of American Companies Set
to Cut Jobs After Hiring Surge

Numerous companies across the United States are planning to trim their employee numbers, Fox Business reported Friday. The outlet continued: That’s according to a new survey published on Thursday by consultant PwC, which last month polled more than 700 U.S. executives and board members from various industries. About half of respondents said they are preparing to reduce headcount — or already have — while 52% have implemented hiring freezes. On top of that, roughly 46% of companies are either dropping or reducing signing bonuses, which became commonplace over the past year as businesses tried to lure in new workers amid an increasingly tight labor market.

There you have it. The upcoming pool of IRS agents trained to go after mom-n-pop crackers. Turn up the heat in the room and shine that spotlight so that only words are heard. The one-way mirror has the "managers" asking, when will the rubber hose come into play?

Government-induced foreclosures, unemployment, riots, lootings, homeless, defaults, and family breakdowns. The only way out of this chaos is to neutralize the Democrats. They are cancer that destroys productive cells and Christian(moral) values.

I live in Austin, TX, the lie-beral cancerous mole on the otherwise conservative and peaceful state of Texas. Our incredibly stupid city council and mayor just decided to implement a minimum $20 an hour minimum wage. Companies that are barely surviving from the Covid shutdown and massive inflation are now going to have to lay off countless employee or go out of business. But all the rich limousine lie-berals on the Austin City Council have no concept of what it is to be a poor peasant!!! Nor do they care. They just want to implement their socialist agenda!!! We are so out of here in the next year!!!

Ds is an HVAC graduate from trade school with almost a year of XP. Pretty damn secure in his job and making good money. No illegal can take that job from him. No college grad either for that matter. He comes home to us as a 20 year old with ZERO debt with his dirty hands (thank you Mike Rowe). And his momma and papa bear could not be prouder. The cost of energy is a huge tax on everything, everyone, and it harms and distorts all sorts of businesses, requiring adjustments to the dramatic new expense of anything and everything that uses energy. Many of these adjustments cause losses of jobs as higher prices cause changes in behavior and purchasing choices.

Shelters in my city are getting overrun with surrendered pets, mostly large dogs. The shelters speculate that the owners can't afford to keep them. More innocent victims of Biden's inflation.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene's home was 'swatted' for the second straight time on Thursday, police in Rome, Georgia said. The prank caller threatened to shoot police if they came to the door and told cops that they were a transgender person who just gunned down their family. The act of 'swatting' refers to falsely calling 911 to someone's home in an effort to get police officers or other first responders to swarm their property. Cops got a call that appeared to come from a suicide help hotline shortly before 3am on Thursday, the police report obtained by DailyMail.com states.

A new poll reveals that an overwhelming majority of registered voters in California approve Proposition 1, a constitutional amendment that would guarantee the right to abortion until birth if passed by a referendum in November. The text of Proposition 1 is as follows: The state shall not deny or interfere with an individual’s reproductive freedom in their most intimate decisions, which includes their fundamental right to choose to have an abortion and their fundawental right to choose or refuse contraceptives.

President Joe Biden’s unilateral move to implement a student loan forgiveness plan that “will include at least $10,000 in loan forgiveness for borrowers who make less than $125,000 annually, as well as another payment freeze for roughly four months” has understandably set off a firestorm nationwide, with Republicans lining up to express their outrage over Biden doing a dictatorial end run around Congress. But Republicans aren’t the only ones ripping Biden. He’s also faced intense criticism from some surprising corners, including from Rep. Chris Pappas (D-N.H.)

The Biden administration’s sweeping student loan relief initiative is irresponsible and likely to make decades-high inflation even worse, according to the chief economist to former President Barack Obama. Jason Furman, who chaired Obama’s Council of Economic Advisers, ripped Biden’s debt forgiveness plan in a lengthy Twitter thread. Inflation hit 8.5% in July and was already expected to remain elevated for the foreseeable future before the announcement. “Pouring roughly half trillion dollars of gasoline on the inflationary fire that is already burning is reckless,” Furman tweeted.

The parents of a Marine killed in a suicide attack at Kabul airport last year say it is a 'slap in the face' every time a Biden administration official says the Afghan withdrawal was a success, and that more could have been done to protect their son. Taylor Hoover, a 31-year-old Marine Corps staff sergeant from Utah, was one of the 13 U.S. personnel who died on August 26 last year when an Islamic State suicide bomber detonated his explosives. It came towards the end of a chaotic mission to fly American civilians and Afghan allies out of Kabul after the Taliban had seized control of the country.

Joe Biden made it official on Wednesday, confirming reports that he was going to “forgive” tens of thousands of dollars of student debt for federal borrowers, many of which are the most privileged and well-off in our society. As I wrote previously, I think the move is morally reprehensible, forcing an electrician who paid for their technical training to now pay for the gender studies degree of some far-left kook making $100K a year in an academic position. For his part, Biden took to the podium to announce his move while taking a precious few questions. Those he did field received some of the most non-sensical answers of his presidency.
