All sorority chapters at the University of Alabama rejected a biological man who identifies as a woman during their notorious recruitment process, according to a video and statement from transgender woman Grant Sikes. Sikes, a biological man, posted to Instagram stating that all of the almost 20 sorority chapters at the University of Alabama unanimously cut the transgender woman. “Unfortunately, this chapter is closed. This recruitment journey is over for me,” Sikes said on Instagram.

Residents of a Dallas apartment complex woke up to the sound of gunfire early Tuesday morning (August 16).
The chilling security camera video shows two people scrambling to escape the bullets when a gunfight broke out at the Langford apartment complex.
Two men were found dead and another was hospitalized after a shooting in far northwest Dallas on Friday morning, police said.
Dallas police said officers responded around 7:30 a.m. to a "call for service" at the Timbers Apartments in the 3500 block of Timberglen Road.
