The raid on Trump’s home last Monday was the high water mark of Merrick Garland’s politicization of the Department of Justice. That act of weaponizing the DOJ was shocking in that it violated accepted norms. Serving a search warrant and using the FBI as its enforcers were entirely unnecessary. A subpoena or even a phone would have sufficed, but a subpoena or a phone doesn’t send a “we can do whatever we want” message. A 9-hour-long rummage through desks, sock drawers, and Melania Trump’s closet do.
Merrick Garland and his Justice Department aren’t done poking Trump in the eye. The DOJ recently offered up one more act of petty political vengeance

Criminal, unconscionable, evil on the part of the DOJ.
But I agree with the author, absolving Jared's dad... seriously? What an absolute scum bag. I would hate to have that in my family for sure. Ivanka could have done way better.

Welcome to Amerika.
(If you didn’t have to go through Tijuana, we could start a mass exodus (“migration”) South.)

Well, I guess the good news is that Sleepy Creepy Crooked President Uncle Joe is setting a precedent that might just work against him (and others). Who cares about pardons? Try 'em again anyway.
I can think of a couple pardon candidates for Biden which would be worthwhile for a retrial (like Hunter and the rest of the Crime family).

Don't we have a law against being tried for the same thing?

#5, Of course what the DOJ is doing is illegal, but they don't care about precedents since they (most smugly) don't plan on ever losing again.
The various Authoritarian types who are fighting over the reins while hiding behind FJB's blank stare are living high on the ego juice they've all been imbibing in their little wet dream of "de-personing" President Trump, like the petty, lazy but conniving Marxists they are. They would just love to have him fade into obscurity without a trace.
It seems like it should be possible to flip the same game plan back on FJB and his puppeteers much more effectively than we have seen, given the common understanding that Mr. Joe is really not all there, and possibly poses a serious danger to himself and others (including this Country!) if he is not constantly "managed". Acknowledging that he may be involved in his Office to a limited extent, but is certainly not in charge of business, a serious effort to decouple his ongoing destructive "legacy" from the American Republic is not only appropriate, but imperative.
Has anyone found, or heard of, any medical records, doctor comments or reports, or documents of any kind, that hint at Mr. Joe being advised to not have solo driving privileges, not handling his own checking and card accounts, or having had to make other "adjustments" to his life as are usual for a senior with diminished capacity...heck, maybe Dr. Jill has a secret guardianship over his affairs! Anything on Hunter’s laptop or the famous “shower” diary that might point in that direction about “Dad” or “Grandpa”?
The Dems seem to have mojo strong enough that It's not enough to just make jokes and innuendo about his condition, but something of substance could change that in the public mind. If it could be suggested in media (social or otherwise), with even weak evidence, that such a curtailment of his personal privileges actually exists, it could be a very short public opinion leap to the obvious conclusions.
Forget about getting 25th Amendment activity from Dems (and who wants Ms. Kackleberry, anyway?), but if it can be shown by some investigative reporter or whistleblower that Mr. Joe can’t be trusted with the family checkbook, it’s a short leap to understand that he only calculates the national budget and global warming in terms of how many ice cream cones that could buy, and how long it would take to melt on his blue suit jacket, and that gun control in his mind relates more to cartoon villains than to Constitutional Rights.
If he can't drive or handle his personal finances, how can he have the judgment to sign legislation that impacts the national budget, nat'l security, and citizens’ lives and welfare? And if the existence of such a condition can be back-dated, strong doubt could be created that ANY legislation he has signed in Office is binding. From that moment, who really cares who is running the show --- Mr. Joe is at least the acting Chief Exec, and if HIS signature isn’t legally negotiable and binding, as evidence by other adult things he is not allowed to freely and independently do, it’s not worth the ink it costs, all the schemers, surrogates and sycophants notwithstanding.
Clearly, the Dems are trying to "disappear" President Trump, and as with everything else they do, the strongest impression is that it is just a reflection of their own vulnerabilities.

" ... petty political vengeance ... " That sums it up quite well. They (liberal dems and RINOs) can't stand the thought of Trump running again in '24. Their attacks on him are bringing him more supporters. They might want to look into the definition of "martyr" because that's what they're making him - on top of everybody who already supports him.
