Thanks to those woke idiot employees, they now have no jobs. When will they ever learn? Demanding that a business be handed over to the employees is so commie. Portland used to be a great place to live 20 or more years ago, but I am so glad right now that my son and his wife have sold their home and moved out of weirdsville.

I find this very sad. Management wasn't. The Floor managers bailed..they did so professionally, they waited to the next day and then the remainder of the staff watched way too many reruns of the Antifa show. I have zero issue with such a club. Assuming "for everyone" is truly so. Sit back, old man story... So I taught a class in Evansville Indiana. After class we were all out of towner adults so we went in search of the nearest bar. The 5 or so of us walking in headed straight for the tables. And started playing. A few locals joined in and we were having the greatest time. Yup, it was a gay bar. No one did anything inappropriate, no one freaked. We spent the whole night there having a blast. The regulars appreciated our respect and we all had a great time...refreshements were served. You may sit. :)

A massive brawl broke out between up to 20 family members during a funeral for an elderly woman in Richmond on Aug. 6, leading to one injury, one arrest and $20,000 in damage, officials said. The Richmond Police Department said it responded to the Rolling Hills Memorial Park at 1:30 p.m. after several reports of a "chaotic altercation" between eight to 20 family members who were reportedly armed. Sgt. Aaron Pomeroy said it was an instance of family drama that started between a brother and a sister who were attending their mother's funeral and who do not get along — and "it goes back many years."

A man who was suspected of purposefully setting forest fires in a remote section of woods was tracked down and confronted by three local residents who tied him to a tree until authorities could arrest him, police say. The incident occurred on Monday at approximately 1:46 p.m. when the Curry County Sheriff’s Office received a call reporting active fires near Mariel Lodge and Rogue River Ranch located in deep southwest Oregon in an area that is only accessible by river or by Forest Service and Bureau of Land Management roads, according to a statement posted by Curry County Sheriff John Ward on social media.

There’s no evidence yet that Roe’s imminent demise will flip many votes this fall. But if you’re looking for anecdotes, have I got the clip for you. I don’t blame you if you read the headline above and thought, “Who cares?” But conservatives have sometimes cared about Portnoy’s opinion, especially when he was ranting against lockdowns and raising money for shuttered businesses during the peak of COVID. He was also ahead of the game on Trumpism, writing two months after Trump entered the race in 2015 on his site, Barstool Sports, that he was all-in on MAGA.

Is there some beef between him and Tucker or does Levin simply find Carlson/Bannon-style nationalism repellent? Not that I blame him.

If Donald Trump was going to run again, we assumed that the media would once again be the former president's largest pool of support, unwittingly, of course, with the nonstop negative coverage that would have only pushed more voters into his corner. Matt Taibbi noted that they're the "kingmakers of suck," arrogant, and more concerned with expounding on their moral superiority than covering the elections properly. Though all that seems to have happened during the banana republic-like raid, the FBI did something else, something even more horrific: it rooted through Melania Trump’s clothes, rifling through her outfits and underwear in what can be interpreted as nothing other than a gross attempt at humiliating the former president and his family.

Again, there’s that long-running joke that we don’t have a secret police force or an American version of the Schutzstaffel because the Internal Revenue Service exists. Of all agencies in the government, this one probably has the most accurate and up-to-date files on every taxpayer, which is no surprise. It was seen as the most hated agency in America for legitimate purposes, though the FBI and DOJ might have supplanted them given the recent raid on Trump’s Mar-a-Lago. Still, the IRS becoming secret police might no longer be a joke. The page was taken down for problematic copy regarding the special agent positions,
