Almost 50 people were shot in Chicago over the weekend, according to the Chicago Sun-Times, as the city deals with rising crime and elevated homicides. Two adults and three teenagers died in the shootings, the Chicago Sun-Times reported, citing the Chicago Police Department. However, it was not even Chicago’s most violent weekend this month; shootings struck 65 victims and killed five between the evening of July 22 and the morning of July 24, according to the New York Post. Memorial Day weekend in 2022 saw Chicago shootings wound 51 people, taking nine lives, the Chicago Sun-Times reported.

Was this a 3 day weekend and I missed it, or was it some sort of 'pride' day?

This used to bother me. I grew up in the forties and the black people i knew where honest, church going people. I know a lot wasn’t fair back then. Believe me I saw the real Jim Crow in action. That said, this slaughter house in the black community is an appalling tragedy. It’s been aided and abetted by the the witless left.. I don’t care anymore. The only way to turn this around is for the black community to rise up and quit voting Democrat. Won’t happen...too addicted to the government teat now. The blacks are being overwlemid by hard working Hispanics and will end up as wards of the state. The killings will continue. As I said before, I don’t care anymore.

Two months ago, American Greed, on MSN, ran an episode about the arrests El Chapo, leader of a Mexican drug cartel. Drugs were shipped from Mexico top Chicago, where the Flores Brothers handled distribution. Gangs were the retailers of the drugs, and fights between gangs over sales territory were the cause of the shootings. Many black single mothers on welfare or holding low paying jobs, are supported by their sons drug dealing. That makes them complicit in the shootings. Until the government is willing to address that, and take appropriate action, shootings will increase. More black youngsters will die, and when the police try to take down the retail dealers, sooner or later Benjamin Trump will show up and bleed the city dry. Leftist loons will continue to invent alternatives to prison, and the problem can only get worse.

So here we are again. An armed suspect runs from the police only to be pursued, subdued, disarmed, and arrested. In a sane world, the officers would be lauded for their efforts. Alas, the world is far from sane, and few portions of it are farther from sanity than Chicago and its surrounding communities. So, instead of being praised for removing an armed criminal from the streets, the officers find themselves villainized for using what the uninformed or willfully blind perceive as excessive force. The incident was captured on police and bystander cameras, and when the footage hit social media and the television news, it inspired indignation among

The World Economic Forum (WEF) is calling for the end of private car ownership in the name of saving the world from climate change by reducing the need for green tech resources. “We need a clean energy revolution, and we need it now,” the WEF begins its article. According to the WEF, critical metals, such as cobalt, lithium, and nickel — all of which are used in “clean energy technologies” — are in short supply. And while the WEF says recycling old tech that uses these metals could lessen the impact of shortages, it’s simply not enough. “The complication is that we do not currently have enough metals in in circulation

Among those educators arrested were four principals, 153 teachers, 12 substitute teachers, and 12 teachers’ aides. The crimes ranged from child pornography to rape of students. “Arrests that weren’t publicized were not counted in the analysis, meaning the true number may well be higher,” Fox News Digital reported. According to the analysis, at least 77 percent, or 140 of the arrests, constituted alleged crimes against students. In 2015, Sen. Pat Toomey (R-PA)

The hellfire missiles that are said to have taken out Al Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri, but not his family, are a newer generation of missiles that are high on precision and devoid of explosives. The AGM 14 R9X missile, made by Lockheed Martin, can be fired from, in Zawahiri’s case, a Reaper drone as well as other platforms. It can be fired from 600 miles away. Because its payload is tungsten and not packed explosives, this version of the hellfire doesn’t have the accompanying explosion– unless it hits, for instance, a full gas tank in a car.
