January 6 committee Vice Chair Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) on Sunday suggested Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas' wife, conservative activist Virginia 'Ginni' Thomas, could be force to comply with their investigation into last year's Capitol riot. The Wyoming Republican told CNN's State of the Union that her committee is 'fully prepared to contemplate a subpoena' for Thomas if talks with her legal team fall through. 'The committee is engaged with her counsel,' Cheney said. 'We hope she'll agree to come in voluntarily.' She indicated the committee would be hesitant to take such an explosive step now - but could in the future.

So badly that now even avowed leftist Noam Chomsky is describing the current, anti-Russian censorship regime as being worse than the censorship regime in the Soviet Union.
That comment came when Chomsky appeared in a recent interview with Russell Brand on his podcast, “Under the Skin,” a podcast in which Brand routinely demolishes, or at least attacks, the totems and shibboleths of the modern liberal world order.

Hunter Biden reportedly did not register as a foreign agent while making business deals overseas, according to the New York Post.
Experts said recently it was a possible crime that could result in him being sent to prison.
The report noted Biden was registered as a lobbyist for domestic interests but not under the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA).
In addition, Biden could reportedly face charges regarding tax violations and lying about illegally buying a firearm.

Washington Post columnist Jennifer Rubin suggested that abortion bans in some states could actually violate religious beliefs in a column on Sunday.
Rubin introduced the subject by referencing a lawsuit brought up by the Jewish Congregation L’Dor Va-Dor against the 15-week abortion ban in Florida. The congregation argued that Jewish law "does not consider life to begin at conception or at 15 weeks" and refusing an abortion could violate their beliefs.
Though Rubin questioned whether this would sufficiently infringe on "First Amendment rights and the state constitution’s free-exercise clause," she still considered the issue "important."
"In any event, this is an issue the forced-birth crowd should care about."
