After Rory McIlroy said it would be “better for the sport” if a LIV golfer didn’t win the British Open, this weekend’s winner may be taking the Claret Jug with him to the breakaway league.
Cameron Smith’s victory press conference on Sunday included a grilling on LIV rumors by a Sky Sports reporter, which appeared to annoy the new major champion.
“I just won the British Open, and you’re asking about that. I think that’s pretty not that good,” the Australian said. “I don’t know, mate. My team around me worries about all that stuff. I’m here to win golf tournaments.”

I listened to the news conference. I admired the report. He was tactful and respectful and asked a hard question. I only wish our Kneepad media could ask tough questions instead of swallowing whatever a Democrat speed forth.

The PGA needs to take a page from the WWE.
You don't let your champion go to another fed with the belt.
The PGA should make the golfers pick one or the other. If you want to play for a bunch of oil sheiks, fine. You just can't play in the PGA.

Professional golfers are independent contractors. Neither the PGA Tour nor the DP Tour pay any of them to play their tour or tournaments. Entry fees and travel are expenses incurred by the golfers not the tours. The idea of playing a tournament whereever a pro golfer wants to play, especially for the world class players, is a dream come true. I wish Cameron Smith the best whereever he wants to play. He is not owned by any of the tours, Period, No Joke.

A few LIV golfers made the cut at the open, many didn't make the cut and only one (justin johnson) was on the 1st page of the leader board. I hope he doesn't jump to LIV. #3 anybody that went to LIV can no longer play on the PGA or the World tour, Also, they are no longer getting points in the world rankings. Both the R&A and PGA are trying to find a way to eliminated them from Major tournaments too. I think in a few years the LIV golfers will regret their decision to play for murderers because without world ranking points they will no longer be eligible to the majors ether,

Should all golfers refuse to play tournaments sponsored by BMW(Nazi) or Japanese company sponsored events due to their participation in WWII?
Hmmm, Mexico is a failed NarcoState….PGA had no problem going there….
Hypocrisy, thy name is…..

Let’s see, #6, our President went hat in hand to the Saudis to try to pay handsomely for their oil (with maybe 10% for the Big Guy!). Here the Saudis are the ones paying and are injecting millions into our economy. By locking out some of our top golfers, the PGA looks weak and has devalued the game. The FedEx Cup, the Ryder Cup, and all the PGA tournaments have lost some luster. That’s at the feet of the PGA.

Poster 1, the PGA Tour and the PGA of America are separate organizations, and both have gone woke. The PGA of America (club professionals) pulled a Trump course from the PGA Championship, which they sponsor.

As I understand it, many of the PGA golfers were funded by investors, to cover costs of getting and staying on tour. The investors then receive a share of purses won.
I have to wonder if the agreements signed by the rookie players specified the PGA Tour. If so, bailing on the PGA Tour would be bailing on the investors. And that would be quite a chunk of money staying with the players. Then add the money coming from the Muslim Prince,, (I read that
some of the individual player contracts were in excess of 100 million dollars) and there will be some players as wealthy as Tiger Woods, a billionaire.
