That was up $502,438,730,000—or 15.07 percent—from the then-record $3,332,951,270,000 (in constant June 2022 dollars) that the federal government collected in taxes in the first nine months of fiscal 2021. But....But....I thought we had high deficits because of Trump's tax cuts to the rich. How can MORE money be going into the treasury? We don't have a low tax problem, we have a spending problem

It should. The Fed has flooded the nation with fiat currency. It’s an illusion of two things - a successful economy and the wisdom of tax policy.

So, the tax cuts produced more tax revenues, huh? Imagine how much more would have been collected if all of those energy producers were able to operate too? Or, if we added a few additional refineries to help further expand the economic engine.

The IRS is slow as Stored High In Transit is returning the money that is due back to taxpayers in the form of refunds. The IRS has 19 million paper returns still to be processed. Bottom line they take the money and don't give it back. Lame Duck Joe fubar'd the IRS just like he's done to America.

How do they know this? From what I have read, nobody is working at the IRS, as it is taking forever to get refunds, to count the money.

Truckers protesting a looming California labor law shut down one of the busiest seaports in the United States for the third day in a row. Operations were halted at the Port of Oakland on Wednesday as hundreds of independent big-rig truckers picketed gates and blocked other drivers from hauling cargo in and out of terminals at the port. The truckers are protesting Assembly Bill 5, a gig economy law passed in 2019 that sets tougher standards for classifying workers as independent contractors.

Lucky for you, you’re probably not a neighbor of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, but if you were, your evenings would be punctuated by “loud and vulgar,” almost-nightly protests from abortion proponents shouting about the recent SCOTUS overturn of Roe v. Wade. The Washington Post went to the tony Washington, D.C. suburb of Chevy Chase, Md. to interview Kavanaugh’s neighbors, and although many in the predominantly liberal enclave refused to go on record, most of the ones who did were not pleased with the disruptions.

Did Joe Biden just announce he has cancer? After hiding out at the White House for 3 days, Joe Biden on Wednesday traveled to Brayton Point in Massachusetts where he will talk about his Marxist climate change agenda. About 20 chairs were laid out for Joe’s big speech… but he totally got 81 million votes in 2020.Biden struggled to read the teleprompter during his garbled speech and at one point it appeared he announced he has cancer. “And my mother drove us and rather than us being able to walk, and guess what?

Hunter Biden could reportedly be charged by the Justice Department for tax violations and lying to law enforcement about illegally purchasing a firearm, as the probe into President Joe Biden’s son comes to a head. Trump-appointed U.S. prosecutor David Weiss is deliberating whether to charge Hunter for “making a false statement in connection with Biden’s purchase of a firearm at a time he would have been prohibited from doing so because of his acknowledged struggles with drug addiction,” CNN reported Wednesday. As Breitbart News reported, Hunter may have lied on paperwork he submitted when purchasing a handgun in 2018 by not disclosing his drug additions.

Monty Python star John Cleese has slammed woke culture for having a 'disastrous' effect on comedy. The veteran funnyman, 82, said he does not believe comedians have the freedom to be funny anymore, blasting today's cancel culture as the 'death of creativity'. The Fawlty Towers icon, who has worked in the comedy industry for decades, told FreedomFest in Las Vegas, as reported by Fox News, that the current crackdown on jokes which could be perceived as offensive is putting off young comedians. Elisjsha Dicken, the 22-year-old who saved countless lives on Sunday after neutralizing a mass shooter with his handgun, is by all sane measures a true hero in a country that desperately needs one. But since his heroic actions contradict the carefully-cultivated left-wing narrative, a number of prominent voices have immediately risen up to demonize the young man. Case in point: the majority of the hosts on ABC’s “The View,” whose considered opinion is that Dicken just got “very lucky,” and was probably as bad as the mass shooter since he “broke the law” when he carried his gun into the mall. President Joe Biden indicated that he has cancer, during an alarming speech delivered on Wednesday to promote clean energy. The president spoke at the site of a shuttered coal plant in Massachusetts, vowing that one day, it would be the site of clean energy programs fueled by windmills off of the East coast. During his remarks about the dangers of pollution, he recalled how he grew up in Claymont, Delaware, not far from a host of oil refineries across the state line in Pennsylvania. He recalled how after the first frost, residents of Claymont had to turn on the windshield wipers to get the oil slick off the windshields

On Tuesday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “The Beat,” Senate Majority Whip Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL) responded to Sen. Joe Manchin’s (D-WV) inflation concerns on climate legislation by stating that climate is “an emergency” that “We have to do everything that we can” about, and this is “more important than any current economic statistics” like inflation. Host Ari Melber asked, “Is the global macro inflation a reason not to do something on climate right now? How do you work with your colleague there when sometimes his reasons don’t really match what’s happening?”

President Joe Biden called climate change an “emergency” during a Wednesday speech and vowed to use executive powers to bypass Congressional Republicans opposed to his sweeping agenda. “Since Congress is not acting as it should, and these guys here are, but we’re not getting any Republican votes, this is an emergency,” Biden said from the podium in Somerset, Mass., apparently gesturing at Democrats around him. The president stopped short of issuing a national climate emergency, but said he would use executive powers to address the issue. “As president I’ll use my executive powers to combat climate crisis in the absence of Congressional action,” Biden added.

Long-time political strategist Dick Morris, formerly of the Clinton camp before coming to the light some years ago, penned a piece for Newsmax yesterday that predicted a 2016 rematch pitting twice-failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton against former president – and America’s most popular politician – Donald Trump. Clinton just can’t give it a rest. She has rested her entire legacy on one day sitting in the Oval Office as this nation’s first female president. Of course, her party can’t define the term “woman” anymore, and then there’s the fact that she hates this country and most of the deplorables living in it.

We've been saying for months now that Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) is not likely to retain her seat when facing Harriet Hageman, a primary challenger backed by former President Donald Trump. What polls there have been indicate as much, as does CNN's Harry Enten. On Friday, what looks to be the most comprehensive poll yet was released, and it shows Cheney going down. The poll comes from the Casper-Star Tribune and was conducted by Mason-Dixon Polling & Strategy. Hageman has 52 percent support, while Rep. Cheney has 30 percent. No other candidate has more than 5 percent. Just 11 percent are undecided.

As the United States continues to come to grips with the Supreme Court decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, I cannot stop thinking about how the court used a legal system built entirely by men to diminish women — once again — into nothing more than a vessel for producing babies. I am a rabbi in a legal system that excluded women for thousands of years, much like the legal system that the Supreme Court relied on in Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization. But unlike the American legal system, the Jewish tradition, in certain respects, including abortion, found a way to craft laws grounded in equal dignity for women.

In the past fifty years, we’ve had precisely ten different First Ladies in America. Some of them spent their time in the White House mostly under the radar, with Rosalynn Carter and both Laura and Barbara Bush falling into this category. Others such as Nancy Reagan with her fondness for astronomy and Betty Ford with her personal challenges were somewhat quirkier, but they were likeable and mostly unremarkable. Both Hillary Clinton and Michelle Obama could be outspoken and controversial, but at least they were mostly clever and competent. And then we have Jill Biden. The adage “opposites attract” may be true in some cases,
