The Biden inflation measurement is such a fraud. People look at their investment portfolios against what they have now and what they had last year, or when Trump was President, and measure the difference. But they don't add in the income that that portfolio produces and has been lost, which masks how much the investment portfolio has really been reduced by Biden policies. If they this adjustment, they would know their losses are twice the inflation rate of 10%, or closer to 20% on a conservative investment portfolio. In short, Biden is taking 20% of everything people own to pay for the free socialist state, that has nothing to show for any of the spending, much of it for foreign wars and income distribution, which has gone up in smoke.

Jimmy Carter quoted the miser index in 1976 as he challenged Gerald Ford for president. After Carter took office then the index significantly worsened and became a liability rather than a talking point for Carter. Now we can see the Biden regime making the horrible Carter term look like something to wish for.

Communists and socialists, all the central planning anti-free market folks ALWAYS cause misery. It is a guaranteed outcome of their anti-free market policies. Absolutely a certainty that when you go away from a free market, you WILL have more misery, less supply of goods, higher prices, shortages, and just far more poverty and economic benefits.

Rory McIlroy nearly had his dream win at St. Andrews, but he couldn’t hold off Cameron Smith. Smith, the 28-year-old Australian, won the 2022 British Open on Sunday for his first career major title. He finished 20-under for the tournament, shooting a final-round 8-under 64 to squeak by McIlroy and Westchester native Cameron Young. Five straight birdies from the 10th through 14th holes allowed Smith to jump McIlroy for the lead, and he never looked back. Right after Young eagled the 18th hole to get to 19-under, Smith birdied to win it. McIlroy finished at 17-under. Smith missed the cut at this year’s U.S. Open,
CNN’s John King pushes ‘grace’ for

CNN host John King thinks voters are being too harsh on Democrats over inflation and is calling for them to be shown “grace” as the fractured party gets slammed over skyrocketing prices and catastrophic policies. With midterms looming in November when Democrats are widely expected to get thrashed and as Americans are crushed by out-of-control inflation, it has become the overriding factor for most voters and that has Democrats terrified. The higher inflation goes, the lower President Biden’s poll numbers are and they are already at historic lows. His disapproval rating on inflation is currently a whopping 70 percent, according to CNN’s Harry Enten who pointed out the disastrous number on Wednesday.

This is a good example of a desperate man reaching for a life preserver that turns out to be a shark fin. Joe Biden is in the Middle East, where the Muslims don’t like him or the country he leads very much at all. No American flags greeted Biden as his motorcade made its way through Jeddah, Saudi Arabia’s capital. Biden spent the better part of his first year in office blasting Saudi Arabia and its leader, Mohammed bin Salman, for his part in the death of a Washington Post writer. Now, he’s coming to the Saudis on his knees, begging them to increase oil production. Being overseas, Biden is relieved

As the all-important midterm elections of 2022 get closer, it’s more pressing than ever for the GOP to prepare for whatever shenanigans-laden curveballs the Dems are sure to throw at them. One would hope that the Republicans are finally aware that it’s always a matter of “when” and not “if” the Democrats will try to underhandedly game an election, especially after the debacle of 2020. During the Obama years, I used to say that any GOP candidate had to make sure that he or she was “outside the margin of ACORN.” I’ve updated that to “outside the margin of magic mail-in ballots.”

It is now clear that the January 6 Committee is attempting to weave a ‘witness tampering’ narrative in an effort to indict Trump. RINO Liz Cheney on Tuesday revealed the January 6 panel notified the Justice Department that Trump called one of its witnesses who has not testified yet. According to Cheney, the witness did not take Trump’s call and instead told their lawyer about Trump’s attempt to speak with them. “After our last hearing. President Trump tried to call a witness in our investigation. A witness you have not yet seen in these hearings,” Cheney said on Tuesday. “That person declined to answer or respond to President Trump’s call

The Department of Justice and the Humane Society of the United States are in the process of rescuing the pups from the Envigo breeding and research facility in Cumberland after a federal judge approved their request to remove the animals. WEST NEWTON, Pennsylvania -- As the sun dipped below the horizon of the Laurel Mountains off in the distance of the Evergreen Drive-In Theater, families with children were spread out on their sleeping blankets in front of their cars. A cluster of couples were sitting in folding chairs, enjoying each other's company. Then, they all stood and placed their hands over their hearts. They joined together in singing the national anthem as it was played across all three screens. They remained standing and sang along with the images on the screen to Lee Greenwood's "Proud to be an American" immediately after that.

Three months ago in our quarterly list of the top 10 most likely Democratic candidates for president in 2024, we changed things up. For a while, we had been ranking only the candidates not named Joe Biden. In the seemingly unlikely scenario he didn’t run again, the idea was, here’s who would be next in line. But that scenario seemed to be growing more likely, so we decided to also include Biden on the list. The reason: There might come a time when the incumbent president isn’t the most likely nominee the next time around, for whatever reason. And his
