WEST NEWTON, Pennsylvania -- As the sun dipped below the horizon of the Laurel Mountains off in the distance of the Evergreen Drive-In Theater, families with children were spread out on their sleeping blankets in front of their cars. A cluster of couples were sitting in folding chairs, enjoying each other's company. Then, they all stood and placed their hands over their hearts. They joined together in singing the national anthem as it was played across all three screens. They remained standing and sang along with the images on the screen to Lee Greenwood's "Proud to be an American" immediately after that.

Earlier Thursday, The Gateway Pundit reported that Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) had an epic meltdown after she was heckled by comedian Alex Stein on the Capitol steps. Ocasio-Cortez wrote that she wanted to “deck” Stein. Later she spoke to a reporter and posted a streaming video about the incident where she accused Capitol Police officers of conspiring with the January 6th rioters.
Ocasio-Cortez argued to Wu, saying police rousted Stein after pressure from her and House (Democrat) leadership, “FYI we had to escalate to House leadership to get them to stop him and run his info. They did not until members intervened and pressed them to.”
It is now clear that the January 6 Committee is attempting to weave a ‘witness tampering’ narrative in an effort to indict Trump.
RINO Liz Cheney on Tuesday revealed the January 6 panel notified the Justice Department that Trump called one of its witnesses who has not testified yet.
According to Cheney, the witness did not take Trump’s call and instead told their lawyer about Trump’s attempt to speak with them.
“After our last hearing. President Trump tried to call a witness in our investigation. A witness you have not yet seen in these hearings,” Cheney said on Tuesday.

The Department of Justice and the Humane Society of the United States are in the process of rescuing the pups from the Envigo breeding and research facility in Cumberland after a federal judge approved their request to remove the animals.
The rescuers have about 60 days to get the beagles out of the facility, provide any necessary medical care like vaccinations and spay and neuter surgeries and find them new homes.

A majority of Democrat voters say the Supreme Court should be abolished for its racist and misogynistic practices, according to a recent poll commissioned by the Heartland Institute.
In addition, 54 percent of young people aged 19 to 39 concur, regardless of their political association.
The survey of 1,025 U.S. voters was divided among party lines, with 53 percent of Democrats in favor of abolishing the current Supreme Court and replacing it with a “new, democratically elected . . . court with justices chosen by the American people directly,” and 33 percent “strongly” in favor. Only 21 percent of Republicans and 38 percent of independents favored the ill-advised proposition.

On July 1, 2020, Kelly Titchenell was rushing to the home of her 54-year-old mother Diania Kronk in Sycamore, PA, a town more than 50 miles south of Pittsburgh, while pleading for help from 911 operator, Leon “Lee” Price. According to recording of the call, Price, a 50-year-old resident of Waynesburg, insisted on learning if Kronk was “willing to go” to the hospital before he would agree to send an ambulance, the Associated Press reported.

Recently there has been a spate of stories about Republicans’ difficulties in taking over the Senate. These analyses typically focus on candidates’ poor polling numbers in key states and the weakness of the Republican recruiting class.
These aren’t absurd analyses; I’ve referred to the battle between the overall electoral environment and Republican candidate quality as “the irresistible force versus the immovable object” in previous columns. Had the Republican Party fielded its A-team in states like Georgia, Pennsylvania and Arizona, we probably would not be talking about Democrats even having a shot at retaining the Senate.
At the same time, we shouldn’t get carried away.
