(Video) Sen. Mike Braun, R-Ind., joined "Fox & Friends" to react to $15 million in COVID recovery funds being spent on "anti-racism" and other woke education programs. Braun said Americans would be "shocked" if they knew where the money has been going and how much of it is unspent.
MIKE BRAUN:(snip) there is so much money sloshing around in that $2 trillion bill, only 10% of it went to COVID.(snip) Now we're seeing how it's blowing up around the country with stuff like this. It's no good. We've asked them to tell us what is left unspent.(snip)

What is shocking is that the bill passed with Republican support.

The electorate sheep are too busy watching re-runs of the Kardashians and Dancing With The Stars. They can't be bothered.

I think these days most or too many Americans think what they’re told to think.
The media gives them the “news” - withholding parts if not all- and by repetition and parsing tells them what to think about what they have just been told.
It seems unlikely that the elites’ thievery and malinvestment will stop.

From the Epoch Times:
About $15 million in COVID-19 recovery funds were spent on “anti-racism” initiatives and similar education programs, Braun remarked. He was referring to last year’s $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan that was signed into law by President Joe Biden.
In October of last year, the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS), a federal government agency, announced that $15.2 million in American Rescue Plan project grants would be handed down to “institutions across 49 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico to support the role of museums and libraries in recovering from the coronavirus pandemic.”
According to disclosures posted on the IMLS website, for example, the agency awarded grants to various organizations to promote the “anti-racism” agenda. In one instance, it gave the Rochester Museum and Science Center in New York about $50,000 for a field trip for students to see an exhibit that features the “story of a community-led effort to remove racist artwork from a historic carousel, as a tool for anti-racism education.”

The politicians and corporations line their pockets, the corrupt blue states get financial lifelines to bail themselves out, and the rest of us are ground between the millstones of taxation and inflation. New USA's spiritual forefather Karl Marx would swell with pride at the state of things, and about how our self-styled opposition party the GOP has such contempt for the American people that they don't even pretend to fight any of it.

From the federal granting agency’s own website on grants given in 2021:

Every liberal emergency is used to fund jobs programs and liberal causes, never to address the actual emergency. Same with 911. TSA is a farce jobs program just security theater and used primarily to exert CONTROL over us deplorables. They are not done fleecing us on Covid they will keep going until many Democrats become millionaires from Covid front companies. FAUCI is beating the drum for masks and lockdowns this fall.

Can't be "specific" if state agencies do not/will not report where the money has gone, how much was spent on what...and where any remaining funds currently sit.
This was passed on an "Emergency" spending basis, waiving Pay-Go rules, spending caps...and had few if any accountability controls. They had a "DO SOMETHING!" problem...and quite Literally "Threw Money at It". The ONLY upside was/is that it wasn't the full $8Trillion BBB/Green Nude Eel/All Encompassing plan the Dems had demanded. Passing this took much of the "other" boondoggle spending plans off the Table for a while.

Youngest son and I are auction goers, and enjoy the process. We are frequently engaged in discussions about politics and economics.
When we discussed the Kung Flu federal money and how it affected the economy, he had a bit of a problem processing the matter, even though he is a senior in college and a math/chemistry major.
So I offered this example.
"Imagine that when we go to the next auction, a federal agent is standing outside, giving 100 dollars to each person entering the auction barn.
What do you think the 100 dollar government grant will do to the biddingand prices?" You could almost see the bulb go on in his brain. He got it. "Inflation!"

No Mr. Braun I'm surprised any of that money went toward Covid... Unless you mean one of the Dem thieves waved it at the problem before stuffing it in their pocket!

The COVID bailout looked, sounded, and felt a lot like it was a TARP redux. Now its rotting corpse even smells like it was one.

I sold a building in Virginia to the county. They were interested for several years, but said that they didn't have the funds, then suddenly wanted it on short notice, made it inconvenient for me to move out some things that I had stored in it. I rushed to clear it out in time, and the sale went through.
The reason they were in such a hurry.....COVID money to buy the building. And they were NOT going to make it into a hospital or clinic or anything even remotely related to COVID.
I'd bet that 90% of the "COVID money" was spent on stuff that had nothing at all to do with the disease, treatment, health care or anything like that. Just a giant slush fund of "government waste" out there sloshing around.

I'd be shocked....,.
Only if I found out that more than 20% of it went to something that wasn't a corrupt scam, to line the pockets of a corrupt politician or a corrupt friend of a corrupt politician
