Bill Maher thinks Donald Trump can cruise to a win in 2024 if he just lets the 2020 election go.
Right now, people around the country are wondering whether or not Trump will run for President again after losing last time, and the host of “Real Time with Bill Maher” thinks he will crush Democrats if he can just stop talking about 2020.
Why? Well, Drag Queen Story Hour might be enough to propel Trump to a victory, according to Maher.

Never let go until it is accepted in the land. Trump will win easily if fraud is tamped back to the old 3 to 6% level

I think the best strategy would be for President Trump let it go until after he is re-elected.

No! President Trump and the American people cannot "let it go". Our votes, our voice in the selection for our leader was stolen! Instead of a vibrant American First president we have been saddled with a traitorous cabal with a vegetable as a figure head. Our economy is being dismantled piece by piece before our eyes. It is being crated and sent overseas to our enemies. Our people's savings and livelihoods are disappearing. They are being poisoned and dieing many decades before their time. Our children are being indoctrinated into deviant lifestyles and immorality, and now targeted also for a lifetime of infertility and early death.
All of this is because they stole the election! I will not "let it go"! They murdered our country! I will not "let it go"!
Ultra MAGA! Trump 2024! Restore our Rightful President!

Outside the echo chambers, no one gives a damn about Trump and '20. It's a dead issue, like the J6 insurrection. For many it constitutes whining, sour grapes. That's not leadership, and it is not becoming, reminding these "conservatives" and "moderates" why they may not have voted Trump in '20. (Whatever happened to those Q predictions of FPDT being restored in short order...days, even?)

Let go of treasonous, criminal acts that resulted in the theft of the presidency of the strongest country on Earth? Yeah, no big deal, let Hillary, the FBI and the rest of the intel agencies off the hook? What a jackass.

I have yet begun to care what Bill Maher thinks. He can act all middle of the road lately, but he needs to hold himself accountable for the role he played for decades in getting America to the sh$thole that it has become. He was and still is part of the problem as far as I'm concerned. He can just shut up.

President Trump can “ let it go” or not. I never will. Ever.
And #5, bless your heart. Methinks it is YOUR echo chamber that doesn’t give a damn. Out here in flyover country and beyond decent people still care about right and wrong, and understand that all it takes for evil to exist is for good men to do nothing. If the shoe fits, wear it.

I think Maher is right and hope that Trump does stop his complaining about the stolen election. What Americans want are solutions to the disasters Biden has caused. Trump needs to point out consistently why the country is collapsing and what he will do in 2025 to get us back on track. Hammer the Democrats and end the focus on 2020.

there seems to be a disconnect in the way some people view the coming 2026 election and those who say that our duly elected President, Donald J. Trump should stop doing this or that do not have any idea of the kind of person he is, there are fighters and there are brawlers and our President is a brawler who doesn't give up until there is no sign of life in either him or his opponent and that is the kind of leader we need and have need since Ronald Reagan went to his place in Heaven

Agree, and what he should do soon is make a statement that he pressed and addressed many of the irregularities in the voting process, particularly those that were done using emergency authorization to change rules that only the Legislature actually has the authority to do. That the voter rolls were out-of-date and not cleaned up enough to use a blank mail a ballot to everyone on the list scenario.
And, this whole "fake electors" the actual term that was used was alternate, which is very different than fake electors. It was to ensure they were ready IF needed based on a possible court decision.
How he intends to continue pushing for fair and honest voting process. Reminding people that there were very few certified voting machine companies to ensure systems were tabulating properly, etc..
Then, highlight, in short, concise bullet format, 5 main topics that didn't have to happen. Don't need to get into details, or expound on the topic, but remind people it was not something that had to happen except that the progressive Democrats wanted.

People who voted for Trump are apprehensive that their votes were ignored and overridden. Probably that did happen. Trump is as usual aware of the feelings out there. The Democrats wish the voters they overrode would suck it up and let the whole thing go and let them try to do it again and again. But we are shocked that people ask us to do this without some kind of examination of whether that really happened, other than having the accused parties get their best friends to scream along with them that it was pristine. We are shocked that we are asked not to care what happened. Those are not our feelings. Asking us to shut up and move on is just not going to work. Maybe we are wrong thinking all was not well, but we want to know, and it is reasonable.

If he does run he should say "I'm looking forward to this campaign and 2024." Then when he's elected use the full force of the DOJ (hopefully he gets rid of the trash by then) to ferret out the fraud and prosecute all involved, including poopy-pants and silly jill.

But he can't and won't let gp, and if De Santis or someone else wins the primary (and there WILL be a primary) he will split off and form his own Bull Moose Party, divide us, and ensure we have a Democratic President. That's where the rubber meets the road with The Donald-------his ego is more important than our country, and he will allow us to go down the tubes.

If not for the stolen election there would have been no Biden misadministration, no wreckage of the economy and no inflation, probably no war in Ukraine. It's an important point in history and must not be forgotten. I remember back in the seventies when pickup trucks in the South had a big sticker on the back window with a picture of a confederate soldier saying, "Fergit Hell!" We need to adopt that again. Our rogue government and the democrat pigs did a lot more than steal an election, they declared war on America. Fergit Hell!

Do I think it was stolen?
Yes.
But elections are about the future, not the past.
Dwelling on this just alienates people who would otherwise be receptive to Trump's message.

If someone stole your car would it be whining or sour grapes for you to expect the perps to be caught and your vehicle returned? What about your wallet or purse? Just let that one go too? Why is it that we must quietly accept corrupted elections? People who say we must move on are either complicit or cowards. Or both.

Look.... the majority of Republicans believe 2020 was stolen. A majority of DEMOCRATS believe the 2020 election was dirty.
Those who believe the Biden won fair and square won't be convinced otherwise and aren't interested in hearing anything that challenges their world view. And half of those would approve of the theft because the ends justify the means when getting rid of bad orange man.
If Trump makes 2024 a grievance match, he will turn off a whole lot of voters. Tell us what you plan is to get the country back on track. Win the election and then get your pound of flesh. In two years, things are going to be so bad that 2020 will be the least of America's concerns.

I think Pres. Trump can walk and chew gum at the same time. Of course, be must focus on the future, and compare Xiden's complete disaster to his tremendously successful term. BUT, he needs to educate those that pay little attention to politics as to how this disaster came to be - the stolen 2020 election.
Trump won in 2020, and FJB!!

Regardless of what really happened in 2020, the fact is, at this moment in 2022, Biden is president, Pelosi is speaker and Schumer is Senate majority leader. Since November 2020, Trump has accomplished nothing to change that because he obviously can’t; he can only win in 2024. His heedless rush into a well planned and executed Jan 6, 2021 democrat trap in the belly of the beast (DC) may yet prevent his ability to even run in ‘24. If he does run, his constant reminders of his inability as a sitting president, to stop the 2020 democrat elections caper that he obviously saw coming like a freight train, do not bode well for his second term chances.

The problem is simple, really. Trump is just as polarizing a figure to the Left as Hillary is to the right. We should be able to understand that the libs will do anything within their power to stop Trump, and that includes cheat so blatantly that they get caught. They have no fear punishment because they know the sycophant media will cover for them.
EVERYTHING Trump does or says will be taken out of context and although we'll be enraged, there is very little we can do about it. Hillary's Achilles' Heel is she always claims to be a victim, but Trump's is his ego. He simply can't ignore the liberal's goading and feels the need for one-upmanship---bullying and name-calling that to some sounds like childish playground behavior. The liberals have identified this vulnerability of his and they constantly bait him because they know he'll respond in some kind of scrappy way which the media will edit so he sounds like a bitter, unstable man. For this reason alone, Trump should focus on his accomplishments and should suddenly announce that HE is changing his status to Political Kingmaker--a position for which he is infinitely qualified. He knows exactly what's needed where. Look at the results of his 3 Supreme appointments! STOP giving Pelosi and Schumer exactly what they want--- a belligerent and constantly defensive-sounding Trump.
The rest of the country seems to be in a constant state of "pivoting" recently; the timing is right for letting Trump pirouette into being conservative Kingmaker. HIS decision; HIS control. That solves the ego problem.
