White House Press Secretary Won't Say
Whether They'll Respect SCOTUS Decision
Overturning Roe as 'Legitimate'

Although the U.S. Supreme Court handed down many noteworthy cases on Thursday, including one further protecting the Second Amendment, it still has yet to hand down Dobbs v. Jackson. White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was still asked about it during the day's briefing, though, in preparation for when the decision does come down. A reporter had asked "just to be clear, will the president accept this decision as legitimate even if he disagrees with it," speaking about about Dobbs overturning Roe v. Wade. (Tweet/Video)

The left and Dimocrats have never understood either separation of federal powers or the concept of enumerated powers and state's rights. They only acknowledge their own power and its imposition upon the rest of us. If Roe is overturned we will face generations of legal and legislative efforts to reverse the Supremes. The war is far from over.

I am asking serious questions here; I am not trying to be flippant: 1. What does ignoring the decision of SCOTUS on Roe vs. Wade mean practically speaking? 2. Is ignoring the decision of SCOTUS on Roe vs. Wade an impeachable offense? I suppose the answer to the second question depends on the answer to the first question.

If the president doesn't have to follow the findings of the Supreme Court, then the states don't have to either. No sodomite marriage or abortion in Texas, sealed borders, voter ID requirements for all elections, and we have full gun rights from now on!!! If that is the path the Senile Joe bidet's handlers want to take this nation down, let's all go for it!!!!!!

The point of overturning Roe has always been that the original decision was ultimately based on a flawed interpretation of the US Constitution and created a "right" that was not explicit in the original text. This is purely a legal clarification. The only federal remedy is to amend the Constitution to create a right to abortion. This takes an act of Congress and the concurrence of 34 states. Biden can submit this legislation to Congress if he is so inclined. It would be within his power to propose this remedy but in the end the country would need to support this through their representatives, and it would fail. Short of this the states will establish their own laws regarding the availability and limitations on abortion.

The left’s reaction to the Supreme Court’s historic decision last week overturning Roe v. Wade has been uniformly appalling but not at all surprising: violence, calls for more violence, calls to pack the court, ignore its decisions, dissolve it. In other words, about what you’d expect from people who want to destroy every institution they don’t control. On the right, the reaction has been rather more mixed, mainly because of the cowardice and intellectual dishonesty of the Never Trump faction, whose leading lights can’t bring themselves to give credit to former President Donald Trump for accomplishing what the Republican establishment could not.
