The $2.2 trillion CARES Act, the $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan (ARP), and the billions in additional federal, state, and local stimulus and relief spending were promoted as essential expenditures to cushion the blows from the coronavirus pandemic. Be it the paycheck protection program (PPP) or the sweetened unemployment benefits, it turns out that there was plenty of fraud

As much as I hate to say this, it started with trump and continued over and over by Biden. We can thank our legislators also for this mess. COVID spending in most cases was fraudulent.

the dims are very creative at $ laundering. Think of all of the unions and special interests who expect a cut for their support - and 10% for the big guys. Of course the RINOs participate as well but they are pikers by comparison.

Keep in mind it could have been worse...Dems made both of these twice as big as originally asked for, but repubs managed to keep both under the $3 trillion each that Dems demanded. Some of stopping this should have been easy..."How many checks are directed at the same address?" How many used the same SS number but sent to several addresses? How many going out of state? Out of the country? To prisons? To dead people? To juveniles?

How about this: The party opposite the party that controls the White House, controls the funds. Both parties would have to agree on expenditures. Any arguments about spending would be made public for all to see who and why they are arguing.

I have a stupid question... at what point after crooked politicians steal from "the till," until the till runs dry, that We the People conclude our Tree of Liberty is in dire need of a "drink?" Is this perhaps the reason why so many in WashDC are of late scrambling to take away our God-given right to "watering cans?"

Any government program that has a budget with more than a few zeros in it is ripe for waste and fraud.

President Joe Biden addressed the nation Wednesday, May 25, to condemn the massacre in Uvalde, TX. Like any other tragic shooting, this proved a perfect opportunity to call for stricter gun control – and in the process, spew some more falsities presented as facts. No, it wasn’t deer in Kevlar this time, or how illegal it has always been to own a cannon. Instead, he used the school shooting as another chance to hype up a new federal assault weapons ban by boasting about the progress made by the last one. “When we passed the assault weapons ban, mass shootings went down.

The movie 2000 Mules, a documentary by filmmaker and author Dinesh D’Souza has become the “most successful political documentary in a decade,” according to its distributor, Salem Media Group. D’Souza is getting mixed reviews from conservatives as well as the mainstream left with his latest cinematic effort. It is unlikely he anticipated a backlash of sorts from his own side of the political aisle, which begs the question: Why is the movie generating such a wide range of reactions?

If it weren't for compounding interest, Cheryl — who requested her last name be withheld for privacy concerns — thinks President Joe Biden's plans to forgive $10,000 in student debt for federal borrowers might have made a difference for her. But with $303,000 in federal student debt — and an additional $20,000 in private student loans — the president's plan just isn't enough. "It is not even a drop in the bucket," Cheryl, 53, told Insider. "If you wanted to make a real difference, you could do away with half the interest we've accrued, but for now I'll never be able to cover the

As the nation looks for ways to cut fossil fuel emissions to meet ambitious carbon reduction goals, natural gas, that common household fuel staple loved by cooks, is feeling the heat. So far, 77 cities and towns and Washington state have banned or discouraged new natural gas hookups. Los Angeles became the latest to join the list when its City Council voted last week to rewrite building codes requiring new homes and buildings achieve zero-carbon emissions – effectively eliminating future natural gas lines. Climate change experts say the shift is a necessary part of the nation's energy transformation. About half of

I’ve never been one to celebrate anyone or anything based on measures I deem stupid. The dumber the irrelevant characteristic, however, the more “celebration-worthy” it is declared by the progressive left. This ethnicity month and that skin color month, then you have a different month for various types of music created by people who happen to have a preferred ethnicity or politically useful skin color. The Democrat Party spends so much time insisting on our differences that even people who used to enjoy this garbage are having enough of it. Everyone knows June is “Pride Month.” It used to be “Gay Pride Month,”

Representative Jim Jordan (R-OH) on Friday blasted President Joe Biden and his administration for having created the record-high inflation and gas prices across the United States. Jordan told Fox Business Network’s “Varney & Company” that he was not as surprised as Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen said she was that inflation followed the “crazy” spending, paying people not to work and doing away with energy independence. He suggested it was “intentional” by the White House. “As you know and your viewers know, inflation is the worst tax possible on American families,” Jordan lamented. “So, this is real. I think there are like eight states where it’s already over $5 a gallon.

It’s Pride Month again, and that means corporations all over are busy virtue-signaling. In Milwaukee, the Brewers baseball team is getting into the spirit of the season by hosting Pride Night next Wednesday at their ballpark, a place whose name has taken on a new irony: American Family Field. The family fun Wednesday will include at least four drag queens, and hey, if they already strut their stuff on a routine basis in public libraries and elementary schools (and even Taco Bell), featuring them at baseball games at this late date just shows how hidebound and conservative the Grand Old Game is.
