Tucker Carlson did a pretty decent job tonight outlining the current issues with shortages of baby formula and why it is specifically galling for the Joe Biden administration to claim they don’t know anything about the problem they helped create. WATCH: (Video)

Seems the Democraps did their usual...pay off cronies, then give them a monopoly.
Way past time to put politicians in prison for misappropriation of funds...and that's just for starters!

Seems they’ve found another process to kill babies besides abortion.

My observation is that the federal government (the FDA) has declared that the only safe formula for a baby is that which is produced by the Pharma companies. The FDA has gone so far as to declare in statements that the homemade evaporated milk, Karo corn syrup, water formula that nourished babies foe many decades is now hazardous for other than emergency use. Their substantiation of this claim is flimsy.
So the parents are in a fed-created dilemma.
I raised two healthy boys on that formula. All of my friends did the same. My healthy grandchildren were raised on it. For all I know, my late Mother gave it to my brother and me.
This is more of the ivermectin-type scam the FDA (hundreds of whose employees receive “royalties” from Pharma companies) has pulled. It should be exposed and condemned. It is just plain wrong.

PS. If mothers decide that the homemade formula is fine, it will sink the $53 billion/year commercial formula business. That is what Pharma and the FDA are afraid will happen.

So far it's been open borders, messed up Afghanistan withdrawal, high gas prices, highest inflation in history, empty shelves, billions to Ukraine, shortage in formula ... people complained about the shortage of toilet paper in the Trump years....

History shows that anytime the US Government, especially on behalf of the Democrats, get involved in regulating commercial issues that those situations are bound to turn to crap! This baby formula shortage is just the latest such issue. A presidential administration could not show more incompetence then Biden and his leftist politburo have by allowing the country to run out of baby formula, that is such a basic commodity necessary for the sustainment of vulnerable babies lives.
Reagan had it right when he advised the American public to watch out anytime someone shows up and says “Hi I’m from the US Government here to help”.

Unbelievable that Bette Midler is really THAT stupid.
A woman cannot just begin breastfeeding at will. If she did not initially post birth start breastfeeding her child and pumping breast milk regularly the mammary glands stop producing or don't produce adequate quantity. Some women are unable to breastfeed at all due to hypoplasia, hypothyroidism, use of certain medications, or if the baby has Galactosemia. Plus, if the woman [birthing-person] is ambitious/career-oriented and has gone back to work [liberals are supposed to be pro-career women, think Murphey Brown] she is unable to breastfeed.

Women (before the feminists "elightened" them) have been nursing their children for over 6,000 years,

FWIW: Were many kinds of baby formula at AF commissary this morning; shelves not fully stocked & limit of 3 per purchase. Some are sharing info online that changing your order to come from Canada on Amazon will get plenty delivered-can't say how rotten the shipping would be or the dollar conversion. Idiots in DC will be eating ice cream while babies wail!

Be sure to check out Kurt Schliter's tweet photo in the article:
'Due to supply issues there is a limit of 4 items per trip'
BUT:
'WIC customers are exempt from item limits and may purchase as many items as benefits allow'
Like a buffet, take more than you need and no one else has any.

If I had to guess, I would say they are actually trying to crash the country to get everybody dependent on the Chinese and the democrats for survival itself. I don't see how anybody could screw it up so badly without trying.

When there is a shortage or a massive excess of some product in the market, you can be absolutely certain that the government has been medding and has short circuited the normal market economic forces which WILL prevent these things.
Every time the government screws with the free market, it makes everything worse. It makes it more expensive than it should be, or it causes shortages - often they manage the brilliant trick of both at once.

Somebody needs to identify the warehouse or warehouses where they are storing the government 'hoarding' of formula. Then a lot of women can go down and carry signs, "My Baby needs formula" in front of the warehouse.
That would be a wonderful news event.

Note: Baby must have baby vitamins (see doctor) along with that formula. That provides nutrients the formula lacks, the ones the FDA is whining about…
