An article published by Daily Mail on June 19, 2020, revealed that Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, Jeff Bezos, and other billionaires invested in a new startup company to produce artificial breast milk from cultured human mammary epithelial. According to the article, U.S. firm BIOMILQ has received $3.5 million from an investment fund that is co-founded by Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos, Richard Branson, and Mark Zuckerberg to ‘prevent climate change due to gases created in formula manufacturing.’

$3.5m is peanuts to a startup in manufacturing anything.
I don't like any of them but I'm certain none of them was involved personally in such a tiny decision. Some intern made this call.

Formula plant gets shut down at the same time Gates has fake breast milk. Wonder what crap they'll put in the formula. They're after your children.

I'm 68. My 90 y.o. mother told me yesterday that there was no such thing as baby formula when my older sister and I were born. She made her own from canned milk and other ingredients. Seems that maybe we need to get away from the "science" and the "experts" and go to the true experts: Mom and Grandma.

Interesting investment. Wish them luck! Sorry to read that their motivation behind this project is mainly climate change and not wanting to help feed hungry children. None the less the best of luck!

Will mothers be permitted to breast feed still?
Or will breast feeding cause 'climate change'?
Will pets be permitted to nurse their young? Etc. Etc.

No...they didn't do this to prevent "climate change". They did this to make even more money using the weather as an excuse.

The ultra-wealthy have too much control in our world. It's time they get their sails "trimmed" a lot.

What a load of c..p. You know the next shortage for babies will be paper diapers. Climate change due to gases greated in formlua manufacturing? I think the climate change is total garbage, "Co-founders Gates (the bug man) Bezos, Branson and .F/./kerberg. billionaires invested in a new startup company to produce artificial breast milk from cultured human mammary epithelial." Now wer'e getting to the idea of getting rid of females. We produce so much carbon gas by nursing our babies, or buying formula from the "W" stores. Rot in hades ya'll!

#5 read what # 11 said. It’s all about control. These 3 are power hungry and think they are in control. I believe these 3 are the reason Biden is in office. The best part of all of this, we support and make these b astards rich. Are you on Facebook? Do you buy from Amazon? Own a computer? Think about it.

True, #15. Over the years there have been do-good articles on the topic of paper diapers, and how they are a bane to ecology. I'm from the government, and I'm here to help™. I am thankful our kids (5) were raised before the car seat edicts. I wouldn't have been able to afford it. Perhaps that is the plan.

For a relative comparison, $3.5 million to fake baby formula, $500 million to the democrats 2020 campaign fraud. That's where the real damage happened.

FTA: "produce artificial breast milk from cultured human mammary epithelial." If successful, they might be tempted to grow those cells to a huge size, in search of economies of scale.
I'm reminded of "Chicken Little", from a Frederik Pohl- and Cyril M. Kornbluth-written Sci-Fi novel, "The Space Merchants"; and also the episode of Monty Python's Flying Circus about Mt. Everest, "Forbidding, aloof, terrifying. The mountain with the biggest t**s in the world."

Does anyone really believe there are enough dairy cows to supply milk for every store in the country? What have we been feeding our families for the last fifty years? Any connection to mental illness? Asking for a friend.
