The Illusion of Evidence-Based Medicine

Original Article

In 1990, a paradigm shift occurred in the development of new medicines and treatments. An idea so big, that it was supposed to encompass the whole of medicine. It was to start initially at the level of pre-clinical and clinical trials and work all the way through the system to the care and management of individual patients. This new concept for how medicine would be developed and conducted is called evidence-based medicine (EBM). (snip)Evidence-based medicine is “the conscientious, explicit and judicious use of current best evidence in making decisions about the care of individual patients.”(snip)So, what the hell happened?

Most of us need no introduction to Dr. Robert Malone, one of our strongest allies in our fight against political medicine.

Dr. Malone pulls the curtain back in no small detail. He knows whereof he speaks. Big pharma and the influencers ( the academics, not the TikTok kind ). Competitors, they nonetheless band together to promote their industry.

I've got your ''So, what the hell happened?'' right here. What happened is that somebody cut through all that high-sounding gobbledy-goof and took out all the B.S. and there was nothing left. That's what the hell happened!

No subscription demand here, they must recognize a VIP when one signs in! I've had consulting projects with Big Pharma over the course of my career and watched the steady government takeover of the industry. They feared the FDA like they did having Satan sitting on their shoulder. They depended upon the almighty patent to increase their profits tenfold on new drugs for a period of ten years or more. All they had to do for the FDA was produce documentation of hundreds pages that nobody ever saw. The change in their behavior is the identical reason that many scientists have adopted the belief in Climate Change, the science is stupid to non existent but the money is great. Ever wonder why TV ads for new drugs produce new junk with ridiculous names for you to ingest every week? If you took drugs for every malady they convinced you that you have you would not need to eat food and your entire income would be spent on things that may or may not kill you with side effects.

Elon Musk’s ambitious bid to take Twitter private under his ownership has hit a roadblock as Saudi investors are rejecting the Tesla CEO’s offer, causing Twitter shares to drop and setting the stage for a bitter struggle for control of the social media giant. On Thursday, several hours after Musk announced his “final offer” to buy Twitter outright, the Saudi Arabian Prince Al Waleed bin Talal Al Saud responded that the offer was not acceptable to him. Al Waleed purchased a 5.2 percent stake in the company in 2015, and if it is assumed that he has retained these shares, he would count among Twitter’s largest shareholders

When discussing transgender issues, legislation, and other controversies, it is common to see the statistic that 40 percent of transgender people have considered or attempted suicide. Where does this number come from, and how reliable is it in determining the moral and ethical consequences of transgender-related policies? While appearing on “The View,” Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg was asked by Ana Navarro if he agreed with Chasten Buttigieg that the passage of the artificially controversial Florida bill HB 1557, Parental Rights in Education, would “kill kids.” Without hesitation, he agreed with the assertion.

Americans, like the planet’s other 7.5 billion people, are not prone to talk or think much about nuclear weapons. The reports and photographs showing an apparent massacre in Bucha, Ukraine, are truly terrible.(snip)Of course, pictures do not always tell the whole story. For example, to determine whether a war crime took place we must know who did the killing, why, and how.(snip)If civilians were shot and purposefully killed in Bucha, it undoubtedly would be a war crime and a terrible thing. But there are credible reasons to believe the so-called Bucha Massacre was not the doing of the Russian Forces, but rather of the Ukrainians—either local militia or SBU or some combination of thereof—as part of brutal reprisals against “saboteurs” and “Russian collaborators.”

The Democrat governor’s office in Pennsylvania colluded with left-wing activists to secure millions of dollars in private money to run get-out-the-vote efforts in blue counties in the swing state in 2020, new, explosive testimony revealed. The Pennsylvania legislature heard this testimony, backed up by email evidence, on Tuesday during the first public hearing on two new bills seeking to block private grants. Tuesday’s public hearing began with statements by the respective primary sponsors of the bills that seek to ban dark money from elections, with Sen. The de Blasio administration notified Trump Organization on Jan. 15, 2021, that they were terminating the company’s license for a golf course in Throgs Neck of the Bronx borough. The city initially claimed that the Jan. 6 event at the Capitol was the reason behind this decision. Attorney General Merrick Garland’s swan song, we can presume, isn’t exactly turning out how he had hoped. Appointed attorney general in 2021 as some sort of retaliation against Republicans for refusing to seat him on the Supreme Court in 2016, Garland, though largely a figurehead, is getting heat from members of both political parties—including the man who nominated him to serve as the nation’s top lawyer. According to the New York Times, Joe Biden is displeased that Garland hasn’t yet charged the former president for crimes related to the Capitol protest on January 6, 2021.

The Biden administration on Thursday unveiled hundreds of strategies across several federal agencies aimed at addressing what it says is racial and gender inequity in the federal government. A senior administration official said the initiative is the first major assessment of how government policies have allowed “inequality to fester,” including ways they said the government has blocked underserved communities from government services. “This is about getting under the hood in every agency,” the official said. The plan outlines more than 300 different strategies and commitments by more than 90 federal agencies, including the Justice, Defense, Energy and Labor departments. Expecting to find hardened criminals, Dungy found instead “19- and 20- and 21-year-old kids who looked like my boys.” When Dungy asked what accounted for the young men’s incarceration, Brown told him, “(snip) Ninety-five percent of these boys did not grow up with their dad.”

President Joe Biden’s latest speech, it appears, was one for the birds. It was difficult to miss what appeared to be the projectile of avian fecal matter that scored a direct hit on the president’s left lapel. Although, after much mockery, the White House has given clarification on the supposed flying mystery substance that many aren’t buying.
