Romney, now a GOP maverick, undecided
on future in politics

Sen. Mitt Romney (R-Utah) says he hasn’t decided whether to run for reelection in 2024, when he could be on the same ballot as Donald Trump if the former president seeks another bid for the White House. Romney has cast several high-profile votes putting him at odds with the GOP base — including two votes to convict Trump on impeachment charges. He became the first senator in history to convict a president of his own party in an impeachment trial in 2020. Just last week, Romney was one of only three Republicans to vote to confirm Ketanji Brown Jackson to the Supreme Court.

Comments:

When a Republican is called a "maverick", it means he lacks integrity.

Tucker interviewed the RNC head in Utah and asked him how dirt bags like Romney and their governor win primaries. Dems have no chance to win a general in Utah so they cross over and vote in the primaries to give the Republicans the least conservative candidate. With the anti RINO vote getting split a few ways and dems involved, presto Pierre Delecto gets elected.

Pierre is toast in the next election, and he knows it. I imagine his own polling tells him so. I expect an announcement from him after November that he won’t seek re-election. It will be some self-serving diatribe about how the party has changed, and it’s not in line with his values, blah blah blah... This will allow him to vote with Democraps for the next two years without having to face the music. He’s an empty suit, and the LDS’ers should be ashamed of him.

Mitt's wife has a degenerative disease that gets worse and worse over time. He once said he'd never run again because she was so ill, but then got installed (lds style) as a Senator. Too many of us non-mormons are watching the polling places for this to ever happen here again. It would be an excellent excuse for him to cite his wife's health as to why he's not running again.

Just a guess, but I'd say he thought he could launch another POTUS bid from the Senate, rounding up the anti-Trump wing of the Republican party. What he's probably discovered is that the anti-Trump element is much smaller than he thought, and he isn't very popular with them or anyone else.

Willard Mitt Romney is nothing but a RINO coward who in my humble opinion threw the 2012 election to the then most inept, destructive, racist president in Barrack Hussein Obama. As the Senatard from UT he's carried on the tradition of being a RINO coward. His latest yea vote on the pedo loving, CRT agreeing, pro-transgender future ruling judge Katenji Brown Jackson proves his cowardice. His future in politics should be quitting so that he can spend time with his family while spending his ill gotten millions.

The refusal of a Virginia university to fire a transgender assistant professor who defended pedophiles and said they should be given child sex dolls has outraged students, alumni, politicians and the school's LGBTQ board, who say it is proof of a double standard that protects woke staff. Allyn Walker, 34, is an assistant professor of sociology and criminal justice at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. The non-binary teacher claimed in a recent interview to promote their new book that pedophiles shouldn't be ostracized, that they can't help who they are attracted to and that they should be given child-like sex dolls to satisfy their urges.

There can be little doubt that former Vice President Mike Pence thought he was doing the right thing. There are certainly many pragmatic reasons for his decision to not intervene in the electoral processes during those fateful days in January 2020. We’re a year and a half into the geriatric Biden regime and those pragmatic reasons are quickly losing their luster.
