President Joe Biden says he never talked business with his son.Maybe he didn’t. Maybe that Ukrainian gas company paid Hunter Biden half a million dollars because he has unique business skills that no one else noticed. It’s possible. But unlikely. Now a Justice Department investigation may tell us whether Hunter is a sleazy opportunist who broke the law and whether his father knew or even helped. But equally revealing is the arrogance and bias the reporting on Hunter’s laptop revealed among wide swaths of media and Big Tech gatekeepers.

Free speech to Big Tech and Big Media is defined as "speech we like". Big Tech and Big Media censor speech they don't like. Unfortunately, "speech they don't like" is not mentioned at all in the 1st amendment. Free speech is not defined nor limited in the 1st amendment. BTW, you can shout fire in a crowded theater. The 1st amendment protects that action. The SC ajudicated that in Brandenburg v. Ohio in 1969. In Brandenburg v. Ohio, 395 U.S. 444 (1969), the Supreme Court established that speech advocating illegal conduct is protected under the First Amendment unless the speech is likely to incite “imminent lawless action.” The BvO decision applies to Big Tech and Big Media's censorship as well.

The Bidens are criminals. That is a given. But they're lazy, forgetful, careless criminals which differentiates them from, say the Clintons who always deploy a rat's nest of lawyers, shell companies, bank accounts etc. to baffle pursuers (h/t Mark Twain). As we never tire of saying, Joe Biden started out as a fool and now is a senile fool. He lacks the cognition and the energy to cover his tracks and 50 years of media protection in DC have convinced him, not without reason, that he is above the law. The old dog can't and won't learn new tricks. He is massively out of his depth in the presidency but he's also unaccustomed to actually having to tell the truth - or at least keep his lies straight. Instead, his brief encounters with the media are a series of churlish denials and negations with the usual addition of evasions like 'No one has asserted' as if the accusation, not the act, is the critical element. He believes he can brazen it out because he's been able to do so in the past. But he has two problems. 1) As above, he's president and that is the world's most scrutinized office even if he hides away most of the time, 2) the dark Marxist forces running his administration and running the nation into the ground on purpose are now finding him more liability than asset. They will be happy to feed him to the wolves.

All of these entities, Washington Post, Twitter, New York Times, Facebook, are either owned by or run by billionaire Socialists. They personally wanted a fool who could be blackmailed and controlled by them to be in the WH. They got what they paid for and we have to suffer the consequences.

John Stossel is first and foremost a journalist, one of the few remaining unbiased reporters of the facts out there. I appreciate what he does. I often watch his videos on YT. He pulls no punches, he always plays Devil's advocate with whoever he is interviewing and no inconsistency is glossed over or let slide. I wish there were more like him.

Conclusion: Donald John Trump was the best president we have ever had since Geo. Washington. By what has come to light since the DNC thought we were over it, President Trump is even more of a sharp-tongued saint that I ever imagined. I doubt if Jimmy Carter (a devoted Baptist) gives a rip what I think, but I'm sorry I called him ''the worst'' president in my lifetime. That title was overtaken by Biden (a ''devout'' catholic, intentional small c). What I wouldn't give right now for a few mean tweets.

National Review’s Kevin Williamson is urging conservatives to divorce, or at least, separate, for a time, from the Republican Party -- that is, from the Donald Trump-led Republican Party. In a recent column, Williamson claims that what he calls “sensible conservatives” twenty years ago or so “could take a realistic, instrumental view of the GOP and find it reasonably useful for our ends.” But not today. Not when the Republican Party consists of “vulgar” populists and “infantile” nationalists who loathe free trade, free speech, the U.S. military, and libertarians.

Last week Cook Political Report posted an analysis of the House midterm election which said “Both sides see the possibility of a Red Tsunami in 2022.” But the rest of the Cook piece argued that because of redistricting changes 2022 can’t possibly equal a tsunami like the one in 1994 when Republicans won 54 seats. There are simply not as many competitive seats in the House as there used to be. So the author ultimately predicted a more modest wave: Every metric we use to analyze the political environment — the president’s approval rating, the mood of the electorate, the enthusiasm gap — all point to huge gains

The Alabama Legislature passed a bill Thursday criminalizing sex-change treatments for children, including puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and surgeries. If signed by Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey, a Republican, the bill would treat the castration of children and other sex-change treatments as Class C felonies. Such felonies carry a penalty of up to 10 years in prison for medical practitioners, Politico reported. The legislation would ban medical treatments done for the purpose of changing a child’s appearance or affirming his or her gender identity, including drugs that halt healthy puberty; cross-sex hormones; surgical sterilizations such as castration, vasectomies, and hysterectomies; cosmetic genital reconstruction surgeries; and removal of healthy body parts.

Very often, when companies go woke, it turns out that the wokeness is a cover for changing market forces. That is, they're not alienating traditional demographics; they're reflecting that their money is coming from new demographics. When it comes to Hollywood and the NBA, for example, the big bucks are coming from China, not America. And when it comes to Disney, the main profit center isn't children; it's young adults who, Peter Pan–like, refuse to grow up. The brilliant Daniel Greenfield makes this point in an article entitled "Disney's Business Model is Turning Kids into Dysfunctional Adults: Its customer base isn't kids. It's messed up adults."
