The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) issued a health warning about an outbreak of meningococcal disease in Florida, which the agency said is mainly affecting gay and bisexual men, including those living with HIV. The CDC urged gay and bisexual men and other men who have sex with men to get the MenACWY vaccine if they live in Florida. It also recommended that those planning to visit Florida talk with their healthcare provider about getting the vaccine. The agency added in the advisory that multiple meningococcal disease cases in college students have been reported in the state over

Comments:

They are rather vague about the number of cases or why they are issuing such an urgent warning.

Uh oh! Time to spend hundreds of millions of dollars on a totally preventable disease that effects a very small population of entitled individuals. At the expense of medicine for others! Just like AIDS (once known as "GRID" ... gay related immune deficiency) where the Feds spent about $2 million on every person who had it. To get average people to go along with that outrageous expenditure they tried to convince us that everyone could get GRID ... I mean AIDS! And who pushed that narrative? If the CDC is involved, this could be an either or situation. Since this disease is devastating to anyone getting it, they will alert the public in the case of an outbreak. But OTOH, since it has appeared in one of the most immune compromised segments of population we have in this nation, this could already be a bad outbreak. Since this disease seems to show no favorites, it could be a bad year for a Florida Spring Break for any college students. Previous comment makes a great point. Since Pelosi owns an estate in Florida now, Trump isn't the only one who should be blamed by the Left.
