Former President Donald Trump endorsed celebrity doctor Mehmet Oz in Pennsylvania’s U.S. Senate Race on Saturday after his initial pick, Sean Parnell, dropped out amid a contentious custody battle with his estranged wife last fall.Trump said his endorsement of Oz is “all about winning elections in order to stop the Radical Left maniacs from destroying our Country.” (Tweet) “The Great Commonwealth of Pennsylvania has a tremendous opportunity to Save America by electing the brilliant and well-known Dr. Mehmet Oz for the United States Senate,” Trump said.

Wasn't expecting that. Not a snow balls chance in July would I ever vote for that fraud.

Does Oz live in PA?
I trust PDT.
Oz has many liberal friends. That scares me.
I will have to hold my nose to vote for Oz.

Since when is Mehmet Oz a big Pro-Lifer? I don’t remember his voice of support in the big Pro-Life political battles the last few years. Dang, I did fear Trump would be talked into this because Oz is in the glitzy NYC celebrity crowd. Trump is not using his valuable and rare political capital very well.
David McCormick is the frontrunner in this race. I cannot see PA conservative Catholics voting for little Dr. Oz.

Sorry, no. I am through voting for RINOs. If he were to win, we would only have ourselves to blame.

Sorry. Don't agree with his pick.
Oz is a celebrity first and foemost. His past stances aren't vonservative. Bad pick by Trump, and I won't be voting for him.
It will make me take a long hard look at the other candidates, too, though.

I do trust Trump. I don't think I agree with this but most never agree 100% of the time with anyone. We have a way to go to the election. We'll see how this plays out.

PDJT - sometimes your choice of personnel is suspect. A few DoJ officials come to mind. I feel this might be another of those dubious picks.

I agree with Donald Trump 99.999% of the time.
But there were 3 or 4 times even during his presidency that I had to scratch my head and go "huh???".
Yeah, this is one of those time. I have no doubt that President Trump has his reasons, but I honestly just don't get it this time.
But, hey, I even doubted the great Ronald Reagan a few times too. Until Jesus comes back and runs for president, there never will be a 100% perfect candidate. For now, President Trump and Gov. DeSantis are about as good as it gets!!!!!

What in the hell is he thinking. Oz is a RINO. He is worse than the current senator that we have now in PA. You know Hannity has been backing Oz and Trump is close to Hannity. Bad choice Mr. President and I'm not voting for Oz the democrat.

#12 and 13. Oz is horrible. Many of us have decided to support McCormick. No, McCormick is not a never Trumper when he helped Trump to get elected in 2016. Sometimes Trump makes horrible choices like Miley and others. This is one of those times. You know who Oz reminds me of....Romney. It can't get much worse.

It worries me when Trump thinks like a politician. The whole concept of MAGA is to move away from settling for less than the people deserve. I personally do not trust Oz. Thankfully, I am in no position to vote for him, but I feel for those who have to make the choice.

No. 18 has it. This is Romney redux. We don't need a warmed over RINO again in Pennsylvania. I currently leaning towards Jeff Bartos.

Both candidates are two knuckles deep in the WEF, so maybe Trump knows of something that makes one stand out?

The OZ endorsemsent is a real head scratcher. There are seven people running for the PA senate seat including two women, one white, one black:
Kathy Barnette (Republican): MAGA businesswoman from Montgomery County, occasional Fox News commentator;
Jeff Bartos (Republican): A real estate investor from Montgomery County;
Sean Gale (Republican): A lawyer from Montgomery County;
David McCormick (Republican) A former CEO of one of the world's largest hedge funds;
Mehmet Oz (Republican): A TV celebrity doctor;
Carla Sands (Republican): from Mechanicsburg, Trumps' former ambassador to Denmark;
George Bochetto (Republican): A Philadelphia defense attorney who sued the city over boxing-up of a statue of Christopher Columbus.
The truly sad part is we do not know who any of these people really are at heart. Democrats are smart enough to jump on board the "republican" electoral train and run for office as such. MAGA Republicans cannot win the endorsement or financial support of the traditional republican party. Rinos are smart enough to hide behind MAGA talk.
We won't find out who they really are until they are in office, make legislative choices consistent with their real values, and once again disappoint the Republican voters who elected them. If Trump really wants to do some good, he should focus on the Attorney General and Governor offices - both of which could help ensure free and fair elections.

No. Better to not endorse anyone than to endorse a dual-citizenship RINO. Trump is so rotten at personnel decisions.
