According to a new Yahoo News/YouGov poll, more than three-quarters of Republicans (76%) support Florida’s controversial new “Don’t Say Gay” measure, which seeks to silence any discussion of sexual orientation or gender identity in public elementary school classrooms by allowing parents to sue if they believe teachers have broached those subjects. (Snip) What may be more unexpected is that the new survey of 1,618 U.S. adults, which was conducted from March 31 to April 4, found that nearly a quarter of Democrats (24%) also think it should be “illegal” for “teachers or other school personnel to discuss sexual orientation or

Comments:

Your propaganda is running on fumes. Overall only 27% support discussing sexual proclivities with school children, and almost all of that 27% are hardcore Democrats.

When this stuff started coming out about teachers, my daughter told me that in her school experience the teachers never EVER talked about their private life out of the school building. It was almost like the teachers didn't have a life so when she met a teacher she knew at the store, she and her brother would be very surprised. Now the poor kids hear every little detail of the teacher's life and how many kids are tuning out when it comes time to be taught the subjects that they are there to learn?

First of all, the bill does not say, "Don't Say Gay". It is to protect young children from perverted influence on their God Given gender. When they are old enough to understand, they can be introduced to the ways of life and make their choice with some information. In the meantime, let them be innocent and use their imaginations as thirst for useful knowledge. Even some reasonable Democrats, if you can find any, agree with that.

The investment bank’s economists, led by Alan Detmeister, predict the annual rate of inflation, as measured by the CPI, will move to 8.5% in March. If they’re right, that would be the highest reading since December 1981, according to Federal Reserve data. While predictions of rising inflation aren’t uncommon these days, it may make sense to pay attention to UBS’s newly released

Donald Trump held a rally in North Carolina on Saturday night, but it wasn’t the normal theatrics and hilarity that the former president delivers that made the biggest impression. Rather, it was an endorsement that seems to have come out of nowhere, and I’ll go so far as to say it may be his worst ever (yes, worse than Morgan Ortega) — at least as a Republican politician. Honestly, I know some people take umbrage with anyone ever questioning Trump’s decision-making, but this is truly a head-scratching moment.
