Via Critical Pipeline

Original Article

After European nations imported the most gas from Russian sources yesterday in months, scrambling to stock up on supplies as Russian President Vladimir Putin's deadline to either pay for gas in rubles (or be cut off) came and went, Russian gas giant Gazprom has officially halted all deliveries to Europe via the Yamal-Europe pipeline, a critical artery for European energy supplies.

Comments:

Russian rubles are now completely backed by gold. Russia calling for Rubles to be the new petro dollar. Seems the sanctions have turned and are now imposed on we the people. We are being drained from within by this administration.

FTA: "...and despite President Biden's promise to bolster to exports to the EU (although he stipulated that not all of this additional capacity would come from the US), researchers at Goldman Sachs have already shown that US exports of LNG are already at capacity." There you go, dopey Joe! Ya know, if you hadn't signed all those Executive Orders your silly prog staff shoved under your nose your first week in office, there would be more oil in the USA, gasoline prices would be half what they are now, and the USA could be shipping many more ships loaded with LNG to Europe. But no, you had to sign all those stupid EO's to promote wind and solar while strangling the oil and gas industry, and damage the United States, her economy, and her voters. You really ought to get Obie, ValJar, and Susan Rice on a conference call and tell them you want a new staff--with no prog's.

A few years ago, I remember seeing Trump tell the Germans that they should not be dependent on Russia for their energy needs and they should be committing 2 percent of their GDP to defense. He was laughed at by three smug German diplomats. Let's see who is laughing, now.

John Catsimatidis, the billionaire owner and CEO of New York City supermarket chain Gristedes, urged Americans to "buy" now because food inflation will only get much worse. (SNIP) "I've seen price increases coming through for the month of March. I've seen them coming through April and May. Between price increases and shrinkflation -- where it used to be 32 ounces, now it's going to be 28 ounces – it's anywhere from a 12 to a 20% increase in food prices," Catsimatidis told Brian Kilmeade on "Fox & Friends," Tuesday.

What is going on with this guy? He was supposed to address the nation on the crisis in Afghanistan two hours ago. Now, it says he will read the teleprompter at 4:30 PM—a full four-and-a-half hours later than originally scheduled. Was there a tantrum? Did he need a nap? We have Americans that are stranded. They’re being beaten by the Taliban. US passports are also reportedly being seized by the Taliban as well. And where is Biden? Where is he hiding? Only a Democrat would be this late addressing the chaos where our citizens are in the line of fire. Why are they so bad at this?

Just nearly two months after earning national attention for mass power outages during Texas’ winter storms, the Electric Reliability Council of Texas, which controls the flow of electricity in the state, fears it may soon enter “emergency conditions.” On Tuesday, ERCOT announced that high generator outages that are typical for the month of April coupled with “higher-than-forecasted” demand caused by a stalled cold front have led to the condition. The council says it doesn’t expect customer outages and that declaring an emergency would allow it time to access additional resources. Nevertheless, ERCOT is asking customers and businesses to conserve electricity use into Tuesday evening.

Over the past year, Gov. Greg Abbott has promised to punish cities and counties in Texas that “defund police,” though details of his plan remained unclear — until now.  Abbott’s office worked with Rep. Craig Goldman, a Fort Worth Republican, on legislation that would financially punish local governments that reduce a law enforcement agency’s budget, funding for overtime, funding for training and recruitment, or the number of officers it employs.House Bill 1900 would “ensure that no other cities follow Austin, Minneapolis, and Seattle down the path of defunding the police, which serves no purpose other than making their citizens less safe,” a spokesperson for the governor told KXAN.
