It's getting increasingly anxiety-inducing to watch President Joe Biden give these public addresses. This Saturday, the president and first lady spoke at the commissioning commemoration ceremony of the USS Delaware. The remarks weren't exactly memorable because either of them said something groundbreaking. The president, however, did mix himself up with former First Lady Michelle Obama, with "Michelle Obama" trending on Twitter for Saturday night. (Tweets/Video) As a result, the White House transcript had to go in and save him, as they've had to do before with this administration. "And I’m deeply proud of the work she is doing as First Lady with Joining Forces initiative she started with Michelle Obama when

The Russian Army is retreating all along the northern border of Ukraine. The official Russian version for the retreat is that this is a Five Dimensional Chess move by Grandmaster Vlad, which was part of the plan all along. A more rational view is that the units that attacked on February 24 have been substantially degraded and are being pulled back across the border with Belarus and Russia to rearm and refit, and take on replacements for casualties. As Ukrainian troops advance, they are beginning to uncover evidence of war crimes committed by Russian troops against Ukrainian civilians. A town that has been particularly hard hit is Bucha,

A 16-year-old was arrested Saturday for his part in a random gang attack on a Hasidic man on a Brooklyn street, cops said. The group of bullies descended on the 21-year-old victim in front of 5 Gerry St. in Williamsburg, punching and kicking the man without any “prior words or provocation,” the NYPD said. The man was forced to the ground as the attackers ran off, police said. The victim was treated by an ambulance on the scene of the Friday evening attack, for minor injuries to his mouth, cops said. The teenager, who was not identified by name, was slapped with charges of gang assault

Former President Donald Trump blasted President Joe Biden's repeal of a pandemic-era border restriction at a rally Saturday night - claiming the decision will result in a 'deluge of illegal immigration.' The former president claimed at his Save America rally Saturday night that he had the 'most secure border in the history of our nation,' but warned that with Biden's '‘foolhardy’ repeal of Title 42, ‘We will be deluged by illegal immigration.' ‘We’re being invaded by millions and millions of people,' the former president added, claiming Democrats want there to be a 'sanctuary for dangerous illegal immigrants.'

Joe Biden is fine. Seriously, don’t even think about suggesting he’s not. There is nothing abnormal or concerning about his mental state, and increasingly, his physical state as well. To even delve into such a discussion is to push wild conspiracy theories, backed by no real-world examples at all.
Oh, wait, it’s April 2nd. Sorry, got my days mixed up there.
On Saturday morning, the president spoke to members of the US Navy, and in doing so, he not only seemed to forget he was vice president, but he bestowed the title on his wife, Jill Biden. Again, though, he’s totally fine, you guys. Nothing to worry about.

“You cannot begin to understand it until it happens to you.”
Those are the wise words spoken to me by a friend upon learning that I had traveled to the West Coast last week to say goodbye to my mother. She passed away a few days after I left.
And boy, were my friend’s words true. I’m dealing with emotions that I do not understand, cannot comprehend. I can’t sleep or eat. It is the worst thing I have experienced. I am broken. Shattered, actually.
My Uber driver this morning, when I told him of my grief, said, “It is very challenging to live a good life.”
Indeed. Life was rough for my mum.

The passing of Florida’s Parental Rights in Education bill and Gov. Ron DeSantis’ signing of it into law have escalated into a tense war between the increasingly solid red state and The Walt Disney Corporation, which continues to double down on its heavily pro-LGBT stance.
Disney has vowed to fight for the repeal of the law despite the fact that it reflects the values of parents throughout the state — as well as many of the company’s cast members (which is what Disney calls its employees).
But, just as we’ve expected from Florida’s governor, DeSantis isn’t simply rolling over — he’s fighting back.

Disney execs may want to consider writing Abigail Disney out of the script.
The Disney Corporation has found itself ensnared in a controversy of its own making. Los Angeles - A Los Angeles judge ruled Friday that California’s landmark law mandating that corporations diversify their boards with members from certain racial, ethnic or LGBT groups is unconstitutional.
The brief ruling granted summary judgment to Judicial Watch, a conservative legal group that sought a permanent injunction against the measure that was signed into law last year. The ruling didn't explain the judge's reasoning. The measure requires corporate boards of publicly traded companies with a main executive office in California to have a member from an "underrepresented community," including LGBT, Black, Latino, Asian, Native American or Pacific Islander.
The lawsuit argued that violated the state’s constitutional equal protection clause.

In a public ceremony delayed two years by the pandemic, President Joe Biden on Saturday commissioned the USS Delaware, a nuclear attack submarine, saying it would enhance national security, though he made no reference to the global turmoil from Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Mortality rates of birthing people are too high, and babies born to Black and Puerto Rican mothers in this city are three times more likely to die in their first year of life than babies born to non-Hispanic White birthing

Ukraine has recaptured more territory around Kyiv as Russian forces leave the area. In some instances, Russian troops are abandoning their positions in an orderly fashion, and Ukrainian forces are largely letting them leave. But Reuters reports that there’s a trail of smashed tanks and dead bodies that marks Russia’s retreat from the outskirts of Kyiv, attesting to some fierce battles that took place in the last several days.
Ukraine recaptured more territory around Kyiv from Russian soldiers who left shattered villages and their own abandoned tanks as they moved away from the capital, while a disputed cross-border strike in Russia complicated peace talks on Friday.

An Indiana man has been sentenced to ten years in prison for participating in a riot in Portland, Oregon in 2020 during which he threw Molotov cocktails at police officers.
Malik Muhammed pleaded guilty this week to 14 felony charges related to the Portland rioting and will have to pay $200,000 in restitution along with serving 10 years in prison, according to a statement from Multnomah County District Attorney Mike Schmidt.
“On September 5, 2020, Muhammed constructed multiple Molotov cocktails. He then brought those explosive devices, along with baseball bats, to a planned protest event that evening at the East Portland Police Precinct Building,” Schmidt’s statement said.

The Democrats’ war on the internal combustion engine isn’t just solely an obsession with the radical Left and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY). It’s being exported to the state legislatures now. It’s also not shocking that most left-wing states are adopting such measures that are Green New Deal-influenced. In Washington, there could be a ban on new gas cars. Yes, they’re taking the Oregon Trail game to its most extreme limits. It's back to the methods of travel not seen since the Donner Party san cannibalism (via Daily Wire):
Washington state is preparing to ban most new gasoline-powered vehicles within the next eight years.

In May 2021, the Florida legislature passed a major overhaul of state election law. The law’s goals were to make elections more transparent and trustworthy while outlawing known abuses of the system, particularly those abuses that came into being based on the whim of unelected officials and judges to allegedly allow the system to cope with an election during a pandemic.
These are bullet points that describe what the Florida law does.
Under SB-90, voters can still request to vote-by-mail instead of voting in person. However, some changes are being made to the request process.
Voters can submit a vote-by-mail application. It outlawed the mass mailing of ballots.

While Hunter Biden has naturally taken center stage regarding the laptop he left at a computer repair shop in Wilmington, DE, few have asked exactly what happened to the man who exposed it all.John Paul Issac, who owns the shop where the laptop was abandoned, has finally spoken out, giving an interview on Fox News on Friday evening. In it, he revealed disturbing details about how he and his business were treated, what he thought about the laptop, and how the authorities handled the situation.Sadly, Issac was targeted as a Russian disinformation agent after the Biden campaign and others, including 50 “former intelligence officials,”

President Joe Biden’s approval numbers are not only plummeting with the country as a whole but a shocking new poll shows that the deeply unpopular leader is also hemorrhaging support with the one demographic that is absolutely critical to Democrats.According to a new Marquette University Law School poll, Biden’s approval rating among black voters has steadily dropped over the past nine months, a sign that all of the racial pandering from the president and his administration isn’t enough to offset very real problems including staggering crime rates, much of it affecting black communities and skyrocketing inflation,

The newest Democratic selection for the Afghanistan War Commission is an MSNBC pundit who was among dozens of former intelligence officials who signed a letter in October 2020 claiming without evidence that the Hunter Biden laptop story was part of a Russian operation. The Democratic chairman of the House Armed Services Committee, Washington Rep. Adam Smith, announced he had picked Jeremy Bash for the Afghanistan investigation Friday, with the biography for Bash noting he served as chief of staff at the Pentagon and chief of staff at the CIA during the Obama administration. Former CIA Director Leon Panetta, for whom Bash worked, also signed the letter.

Some days, I go to write an article and it’s dealing with a topic so egregiously insane that I almost feel like I’m covering satire. Today is one of those days.
The Biden Administration, via the DOJ, has sent a letter to attorneys general around the country threatening to sue if states attempt to stop the mutilation of children in the form of “gender reassignment” surgery, hormone blockers, and other actions that change the natural development of a child. In other words, Joe Biden and his degenerate underlings now view physically “transitioning” a child as a civil right,

Democrats are running out on their tab.
No surprise there, but according to Breitbart News:
Fifty-five powerful and influential House Democrats are reportedly financially stiffing the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC), failing to pay the dues they owe because of the likelihood that Republicans will retake the chamber.
Top Democrats leaders are unhappy and worried because many of their valuable caucus members are not paying their dues to the party committee

As I watch the Hunter Biden saga unfold, I’m reminded of a dog my family had when I was in grade school. It was a beautiful Irish Setter, and it loved to chase the UPS truck… until one day it caught it.
You can finish the story for yourself. (snip) With the laptop getting larger in the windshield, Biden is the dog that caught the delivery truck, and now it’s about to run over him. Even the blindest Democrats can see that, but they seem unable to make any sort of decision about what to do. And not making a decision is a decision.

Jon Stewart isn’t your typical, leftist comedian/talk show host. For one thing, Jon Stewart walked away from an extremely successful stint on Comedy Central with “The Daily Show” in 2015 at the ripe old age of 52, not a common career path for leftists who love money but pretend to hate capitalism. But what is most notable about Stewart’s career is that he was actually funny, and at times hilarious. Check out this video for an example. Yet we learned this week that, apparently, Stewart’s decision to reduce his workload seven years ago had the unforeseen side effect of also reducing his common sense.

The White House said this week it plans to release up to 180 million barrels of oil from strategic reserves, a million barrels a day for 180 days, to help bring down near-record gas prices that were climbing before Russia’s invasion of Ukraine but have since spiked. It will be the largest release of oil from the U.S. Strategic Petroleum Reserve since it was established in the early 1970s, and it probably won’t work.
The specific reasons it probably won’t work — congestion on the Gulf Coast, a possible reduction in supply from Saudi Arabia and other oil producers,

It’s long past time that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) should have retired. I’m not a big advocate of hide-bound rules as to age or term limits. But in her and in Joe Biden, you see the problems of advanced age and related issues that are harming our country.
Of course, it’s not just the age, but lousy policies that they are trying to impose on us as well, such as Joe Biden deciding that instead of working on promoting more American production he’s just going to drain our reserve of petroleum dry to try to drop prices before the midterms so Americans won’t decimate Democrats in November.

On Wednesday, Arizona Governor Doug Ducey signed voter identification legislation that will require residents to show proof of citizenship and residency before they register to vote. “Voting rights advocates” are lamenting that it could result in thousands of ineligible registrations.
From CNN:
Arizona Republican Gov. Doug Ducey on Wednesday signed legislation that would require all Arizonans to provide proof of citizenship and residency to register to vote, sparking criticism from voting rights advocates who say it will potentially cancel thousands of voter registrations and are exploring legal challenges in response.
Voting rights advocates point out that many voters didn’t have to previously provide such proof.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis sent the LBGT community and the woke corporations into a frenzy when he championed (and signed into law) an anti-groomer bill that prevents school teachers from grooming 5 year old children about deviant sex practices. (Snip--video) The Disney Company believes that grooming your kids is the hill that it wants to die on — which should tell you everything you need to know about the people running Disney these days. No sane corporation would put out a statement such as this one unless it wanted to be recognized as a pro-pedophile organization.

The White House refused to rule out President Joe Biden issuing a presidential pardon for his son Hunter Biden or for his brother James Biden as federal investigations continue over their foreign business dealings.
“That’s not a hypothetical I’m going to entertain,” White House communications director Kate Bedingfield said during the daily press briefing when asked about a potential pardon “I don’t have anything to add from this podium. Bedingfield was reluctant to address any aspect of the Hunter Biden story, after CNN, The Washington Post, and the New York Times recently published stories about the federal tax probe
