As Vladimir Putin floats terrifying hints of Russia’s willingness to use nuclear weapons against countries that assist in Ukraine’s defense against Moscow’s brutal invasion, the United States is saddled with a president teetering on the brink of senility, and a woman one heartbeat away from the presidency who is as dependably incompetent as she is undependable in prepping herself on national and international issues. Polling makes clear that the public is fully aware of, and disconcerted by, the alarming shortcomings of President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris alike; but at the same time, there is little if any appreciation

It wasn't a "brutal invasion"... It was a necessary invasion to stop NATO and the US from having Ukraine become a part of NATO, thereby having missiles on Russia's border. Russia needed to stop the biological weapon industry in Ukraine funded by the US. Russia wants to bring down the crime family known as Biden's Crime Syndicate, Russia said NYET to the Great Reset... and the list goes on.

A smart person would not pick sides in this conflict/invasion. Ukraine was invaded as the country suffers and citizens misplaced but don't doubt it has a dictator, Zelensky, who picked up arms to fight but he's a dictator none the less. Putin is acting on something he thinks threatens his country, NATO at his doorstep. The action that Putin took was because of a weak United States with Charlie McCarthy style dummy for a fraud president.

So many of our 'leaders' can be poster children for incompetence and corruption and serve to highlight the problem with our form of government. Is this the best we can do? Is this what we really want to lead us? Not just 'No!', but 'He!! no!'. Yet there they are.

Biden specifically said he would have a Black woman as his VP pick. The Affirmative Action Veep pick has showed us EVERYTHING wrong with picking a person based on the color of their skin and not the content of their character. Think anyone learned anything from this? No, probably not. And I'll be called a racist for saying the silent part out loud.

Recently, while reading a new biography about the life and contributions to conservatism of my dear friend, Stan Evans, by Steven Hayward, I was enlightened as to the extent of the leg work that both he and William Rusher did to explore the possibility of running a new third-party team of Ronald Reagan and George Wallace in the 1976 presidential election. Hayward’s well-researched and perfectly toned book, “M. Stanton Evans: Conservative Wit and Apostle of Freedom,” discussed a March 1975 meeting in Alabama at which Evans and Rusher conducted “sort of an interview” with Gov. Wallace as due diligence toward this improbable ticket.

At long last, the mainstream media are paying some attention to the obvious corruption of President Joe Biden’s family and its many business partners, which include the Chinese government and Russian oligarchs. These things have been known for years. Why are the Big Media only now looking into them? And why, not really knowing anything at all about what was going on, do Twitter and Facebook still censor those who report on the Bidens’ questionable overseas business activities? Finally, both the New York Times and Washington Post have been forced to admit that Hunter Biden’s lost laptop is real, CORRECTION*

Americans have been warned by their superiors to not question the outcome of the 2020 election, because it will further the Donald Trump Big Lie that the presidency was stolen from him. Yet we continue to see shreds of evidence that say the Big Lie is in fact the claim that the 2020 election wasn’t corrupted. Merely mentioning doubts about the legitimacy of the presidential election that put a doddering, grafting, plagiarizing, on-the-wrong-side-of-everything Joe Biden in the White House is enough to be sent to Twitter jail, get flagged by Facebook, and attacked in the mainstream media. Shame is heaped on anyone who dares question the Democrat-media-Never Trump narrative

If one listens closely enough, one hears the feint but steady hum of envy buzzing through American society. The envy is directed toward Ukraine, a country being pummeled by Russian tanks and missiles. A country where children, the elderly and the sick are being targeted with bombs. And yet, it is also a country bravely standing up to one of the largest and best-equipped militaries on earth. This courage, this love of home and country, this willingness to sacrifice life and fortune – this is the subject of American envy. The progressive left in America has levied a constant barrage of warnings

The first line in President Joe Biden’s budget statement, released Monday, is “Budgets are statements of values, and the budget I am releasing today sends a clear message.” Biden’s right that his $5.8 trillion budget sends a clear message. The message is that he will say and do anything, no matter how disconnected from reality it is. The rest of his statement is itself full of lies and half-truths. For example, Biden brags that he’s cut the deficit in half in his first year, making it “the largest one-year reduction in the deficit in U.S. history.” That’s technically true but

One of President Joe Biden’s signature promises during the 2020 campaign was that he would “unify the country.” Now, a little more than a year into the presidency, most Americans don’t feel he has lived up to his promise. In fact, the latest I&I/TIPP Poll shows they feel America is divided, not united, under Biden. “I pledge to be a president who seeks not to divide, but to unify; who doesn’t see red states and blue states, only sees the United States,” Biden told followers after declaring victory on Nov. 8, 2020. That speech was seized on by many as a sign

Day after day we read of cases in which a speaker was shut down on a college campus, a group was denied a forum or chased from the public square, or free inquiry was snuffed out because there might be words uttered or written that could “hurt” someone. Will the administrators and professors who refuse to punish this behavior, and even sometimes support it, ever understand that the invented grievances aren’t about offense but about having power over others? Just this week, The College Fix reported that a University of Virginia student wrote in The Cavalier Daily that it was dangerous for former Vice President Mike Pence

We’ve now listened to three days of a scheduled full week of testimony by Supreme Court nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson. And to be honest, we’ve heard enough. Anyone who truly cares about the Constitution and the rule of law should reject Jackson. Jackson has a winning smile and pleasant demeanor. Those are nice personal traits, but not ones that necessarily elevate you to the Supreme Court. Still, she’s also a Harvard Law grad, clerked for Justice Steven Breyer, worked as a public defender, served on the U.S. District Court

A pair of principles that drive the political left – never letting a crisis go to waste, and using prior acts of government-imposed restraints to gradually but methodically steal liberty – is taking the U.S. down a path that, if traveled too far, goes in only one direction. We trust that Western nation voters will reverse the trend before it’s too late. But first they have to recognize how the country is being manipulated. If government authorities can shut down an economy and rob Americans of their freedom with lockdowns and mask and vaccine mandates over a virus, then they can, and will, do the same for a crisis,

Plenty of commentators have wondered how it is that Vice President Kamala Harris has the ability to use so many words yet say so little. Some speculate that she refuses to read her staff’s briefing materials and so rambles. Others that she just loves the sound of her own nasally voice. Others say that she just isn’t too bright. We believe there’s another possible explanation. Being from California, Harris no doubt was raised on a steady diet of Hollywood fare. Is it too much of a stretch to believe that she watched “Plan 9 From Outer Space“ as a child

By all evidence, Ketanji Brown Jackson’s nomination to the Supreme Court will be a shoo-in. Not because she’s supremely qualified, but because her nomination — as the press reminds us in every headline — is “historic.” Yes, there are and have been black justices and women justices, but never, ever a black woman justice! Who would dare stand in the way of history? President Joe Biden assumed that by checking all the correct woke boxes his candidate could escape the sort of vicious scrutiny, rumormongering, character-destroying attacks visited upon Republican nominees – apparently forgetting that

Back in 1967, the Reedy Creek Improvement District agreement was created to lure Disney to Florida. The agreement allows the district governmental powers to facilitate recreational projects and tourism. Florida's legislature felt that it would benefit the state if recreational organizations had the power to act as their own government in areas like property development, water control, public utilities, law enforcement, and fire protection. The mouse eagerly took the cheese, and today most of the land is owned by Walt Disney World. It's been a pretty sweet deal (snip) Now Florida legislators are threatening to pull those special privileges if Disney continues to strike at HB1557

Detroit—New vehicles sold in the U.S. will have to average at least 40 miles per gallon of gasoline in 2026, up from about 28 mpg, under new federal rules unveiled Friday that undo a rollback of standards enacted under President Donald Trump. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said its new fuel economy requirements are the strongest to date and the maximum the industry can achieve over the time period. They will reduce gasoline consumption by more than 220 billion gallons over the life of vehicles, compared with the Trump standards. They're expected to decrease carbon dioxide emissions—but not as much as some environmentalists want—and raise new vehicle prices

Back in 1967 when Disney World was just a gleam in Mickey’s eye and states around the country were vying for Walt Disney’s approval to build his second theme park, the Florida legislature passed the Reedy Creek Improvement Act, which gave the Walt Disney Company a special carve-out, making it a self-governing enclave. The Act gave Disney “the ability, the power to build a nuclear power plant, an airport manufacturer, distill and distribute alcoholic beverages and lots of other things,” said Dr. Richard Foglesong, author of Married to the Mouse in an interview with a Florida TV station last year.

Open borders advocates – including those who serve in the Biden administration and on Capitol Hill – have been demanding that President Biden end Title 42 since the day he took office during a full-blown pandemic. Title 42 is a public health provision that was invoked by the Trump administration in 2020 at the onset of the COVID pandemic, allowing for the expedited removal of people crossing our borders illegally. While it is impossible to quantify a negative, it is reasonable to assume that preventing significant numbers of people traveling in large groups and coming from countries where
