What does Putin want and will Russia end
its war?

When Vladimir Putin shattered the peace in Europe by unleashing war on a democracy of 44 million people, his justification was that modern, Western-leaning Ukraine was a constant threat and Russia could not feel "safe, develop and exist". But after weeks of bombardment, thousands of deaths and an exodus of millions of refugees, the question remains: what is his war aim and is there a way out? The goals he set at the start of Russia's invasion appear to have been watered down (Snip) Russia does appear to have accepted it cannot depose Ukraine's leadership and replace it with a puppet government, as exists in Belarus.

Maybe we can trade joey, hunter and the administration. Fair right? They can start up the rebuilding project in Ukraine. (Or as the Teacher's Union spells it "UkrIAne"-What a bunch of idiots). After all the dems "care" so much about "the people". Fly them to Moscow and point them SW with a shovel and a pick.

This article is full of suppositions. Sadly, that means nothing other than "educated guesses". The only person who knows what Russia is going to do is Putin. Trying to read his mind is pretty much impossible. God, I would love to see just one independent news source that would report what is really happening in Ukraine without bias.

Not sure why, Putie, you are determined to think western Europe wants to attack your little russia. And for what, Putie? Why would anybody waste their time, energy, resources, and money on your little fiefdom? Your russia has nothing to benefit mankind except for its oil and gas. Russia has never been a center for technological advancement nor is it at America's or China's level as an owner of intellectual property. But, yes, russia does happen to have world-renowned artists, musicians, and composers. The finest in my opinion. But, at the end of the day, your country today comes across as one giant gas can, Putie. Your people deserve a lot more than that, pal. Europe has plenty of other options to meet its energy needs. And so do we.

At this point, it's not even Putin's war anymore. It is the CCP's war now, and we have no choice but to confront them. God help us.

Putin has already taken what he wanted. Biden can keep arming the Ukrainians, and they can maintain their warfare, but they are only prolonging the killing, as they have lost.

Maybe I am a political novice here but my guess is Putin wants a good sized chunk of Ukraine.. and he has it and keeps gobbling up more the longer this war is prolonged. Oh and as I said waaaaay back, he will not be giving any of it back. Glad I could answer that one for ya Sparky.

When photos began to circulate online of Russian cosmonauts boarding the International Space Station (ISS), media outlets online quickly spread the hoax that the group had deliberately chosen to wear yellow and blue flight suits in solidarity with Ukraine by wearing the country's national colors. The connection between the color of the attire and the conflict in Ukraine spread to outlets like the BBC, Bloomberg Quicktake, The Times, and NPR. In a sign of the times, a fed-up Queens landlord posted two giant banners calling out his allegedly deadbeat tenants for owing him $17,000 in back rent. “MY TENANTS ON THE FIRST FLOOR ARE NOT PAYING RENT” read the bold posters slung above the first-floor rental on 175th Street in Springfield Gardens. Landlords Calvin and Jean Thompson posted the banners — which can be seen from the Belt Parkway — in the hopes of shaming their tenants into paying up.(Snip)But with nearly 200,000 eviction cases pending in the city after pandemic protections and the state’s eviction moratorium created a historic backlog, the landlords see humiliation as the next best tactic.

As Russia's brutal invasion of Ukraine grinds on into its fourth week, the physical war rages in the cities and countryside, while an information war is waged over the airwaves and on the internet and social media. On the actual battlefield, the Russian offensive has undoubtedly slowed over the past week. It has been one of the most enduring Covid conspiracy theories: that the 'gold standard' PCR tests used to diagnose the virus were picking up people who weren't actually infected. Some even suggested the swabs, which have been carried out more than 200 million times in the UK alone, may mistake common colds and flu for corona.(Snip)Last month a report by the research charity Collateral Global and academics at Oxford University concluded as much, stating that as many as one third of all positive cases may not have been infectious. Sentencing guidelines could have seen the former Tennessee lawmaker face up to 10 months in prison for those counts.
