Former West Point cadet Chris Monge was thrown out of school and into military prison for dealing and using cocaine, Xanax and opiates at the country’s foremost military academy in 2017.
Army prosecutors called him a drug “kingpin” at the US Military Academy in Orange County, NY. (Snip) West Point cadets are technically active-duty Army cadets and subject to being criminally charged, according to the UCMJ, or Uniform Code of Military Justice. They could also face a separate administrative action.

Now, who do you imagine might benefit from the destruction of our military?

That explains the miserable failed generals, lost wars, Milleys navel gazing about whitey and Austins perverse tranny cult.

Apparently the country does not have that many clean, moral and intelligent teenagers as we thought. I wonder why not? Maybe we need more diversity and inclusion?

Chris Monge (from the article)…”it’s just another college”. No, Mr, Monge, the military colleges are not just “other colleges”. They are the institutions that prepare our future military leaders. Only the best are admitted (at least it used to be that way). You and those like you insult those who work their tails off to gain admittance. And you have the audacity to complain about having to repay your tuition….

There used to be an honor code.
A cadet will not lie, cheat, steal, or tolerate those who do.
Apparently that has now been waived.

These are military institutions whose first responsibility is to prepare officers for combat.
This article cry's about how these students would have to pay back the tuition money... our money. This is what I pay in taxes to protect the country. Throw them out and get students who really want to be officers and maintain integrity.

Expel them, try them, convict them, put them in jail, and get the money back from them...they are druggies and deserve the fate that they caused

The military academies went all in, whole hog for affirmative action/diversity during Dollar Bill Clinton's presidency.
We are witnessing the fruit from the poisoned tree for that.
And it has only gotten worse since then.

I suggest this diatribe from the NY Post (of all places!) be taken with less than a grain of salt. The entry structure is so weird, but it is weird enough to keep a cadet who wants the education and the rank on the straight and narrow. (Ancient meaning of those words.)

Wilton Manors is called the Gayborhood in some Florida tourism literature and refers to itself as the second gayest city in America. Snorting and sex don’t sound like the kind of recreational activities that parents look for in leaders who may order their children into battle. Weakness and cowardice is easy to find but I thought West Point graduates are supposed to be above all of that. It’s hard to find people willing to go through boot camp at Forts Jackson, Wood, Sill or Bragg in order to join a cavalcade of clowns.

a dealer would not have much of a business without customers... I believe the code would require a cadet with knowledge of drug selling (or use) is required to report it. I know that happened at my son's NROTC in college. as he was one of the students who had the unpleasant duty of reporting knowledge of such use

Wish alcohol abuse was a major problem, but "wokeism" is much more dangerous. The best are not being selected. Highly qualified straight White males are passed over in favor of lesser qualified applicants to meet political quotas. Academies are being turned into colleges with uniforms in order to be attractive to highly rated non-White males. Academy sponsored "Affinity" groups are segregating cadets/midshipmen into aggrieved tribe who all oppose whatever straight White males are doing. The future of Academy graduates and their influence over our military is not good.

Never been to a military academy, but hard to believe that you can operate a drug ring on a campus where everyone is subjected to tight schedules and curfews. Help from the administration?
