Des Moines police on Tuesday released new details in a deadly drive-by shooting outside of East High School that took the life of a 15-year-old boy. According to police, six teens have been charged with first-degree murder after detectives determined that shots were fired by multiple shooters from multiple vehicles. Police executed five search warrants in Des Moines since the shooting. Police said they have recovered six firearms during the investigation. The following people have been charged with first-degree murder and two counts of attempted murder in the shooting: 17-year-old Octavio Lopez, 14-year-old Nyang Chamdual, 16-year-old Manuel Buezo, 16-year-old Romero Perdomo, 15-year-old Alex Perdomo and 17-year-old Henry Valladares-Amaya.

Comments:

This is the second shooting in the last few weeks in Des Moines that have included multiple ethnic teens doing the shooting. In the past these ethnicities didn't work together. Curiouser and curiouser.

Iowa pols, business welfare queens and schools, top to bottom all get on their collective knees for filthy pocs of every variety. The cops and news lie about crimes as long as they can and no one calls them on it. This is as middle America as it gets folks and the scum of the third world own it.

Sounds like a veritable multicultural firing squad. Multiple shooters from multiple directions to confuse the effort to determine just which of them fired the shot that actually killed him.

FTA: This is the first school year since 1999 that the district has been without Des Moines police officers in schools. Last year, the school board voted to end the school resource officer program. Members said the program disproportionately affected students of color. Well that worked out well, for the killers.

I stopped at a fast food place in a small city in Iowa east of Des Moines for lunch last year. Had to wander all over to find gas and food, off of I-80. The fast food was unfamiliar chain, can't even think of who it was now, but really glad that my CCW is valid in Iowa. NOT a comfortable place to be, surprised me.

Ever younger children, usually members of criminal gangs, are committing crimes of appalling violence, even capital murder, in contagious sprees of indiscriminate malevolence. I say contagious because groups of criminals are always more dangerous than individuals. The upbringings of these five youths (15, 16, 16, 17, 17) were likely terrible, and they never developed souls. They're minors and they're already gone, maybe forever. In A&E's The First 48 Hours there was an episode entitled "The Invader" from about three years ago. A 16-year-old Tulsa boy who could have passed for fourteen committed, in one day, at least four separate violent crimes. The first was a home invasion-robbery in which he took a gun and committed a rape, Then he invaded another home and while committing the robbery, he shot the husband to death before fleeing. Then he invaded another home and took the elderly couple out in their car, sitting between them, to a cash machine at a bank. A woman walked up to the bank machine and was also robbed. The cops nabbed the kid as he was trying to jack a car. Back at Homicide he got impatient with the cops, wanting to go back home. "I'm sorry to inconvenience you," the detective said, "but you've been busy today." The kid, barely old enough to carry a driver's license, with a heart as cold as Siberia in January, got life in prison. Kids who commit armed robbery and murder know what they have done, and should be treated as adults under the law.

Eventually we will have to start using the death penalty again or the vigilantes will rule with ropes. Ordinary decent people will have had enough. I don’t like it but we are approaching a tipping point where honest citizens will take the law into their own hands.

New York Attorney General Letitia James is suing JBS USA, the world's largest producer of beef, over the company's emissions and for "greenwashing" by allegedly misleading the public about its environmental impact. In an announcement, James noted that beef production has the largest greenhouse gas footprint of any major food commodity and that animal agriculture accounts for 14.5% of global greenhouse gas emissions. According to James, JBS USA's various net-zero pledges for 2030 and 2040 are therefore misleading and "not feasible" given the scope of its worldwide beef production operations.

She was the first woman president of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors, the first woman mayor of San Francisco, and one of two of the first women elected to the U.S. Senate from California. "Dianne Feinstein, right from the start, was an icon for women in politics," said former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. Senator Chuck Schumer adds, "She's a legend. A legend in California as the first woman senator. A legend in the Senate. She was the leader on so many different issues."

The Federal Reserve ordered the largest interest hike in more than two decades Wednesday as part of its escalating campaign to battle stubbornly high inflation. The central bank raised its benchmark rate by half-a-percentage point, following a quarter-point increase in March. The moves mark a sharp U-turn from the easy-money policies the Fed had pursued through most of the pandemic. The Fed also telegraphed that it expects additional rate increases in the months to come, continuing a campaign that has high stakes for the U.S. economy.

A Colorado woman with stage 5 renal failure is scrambling to find a new hospital to perform a kidney transplant after a health system in the state denied the transplant due to her and her donor being unvaccinated against the coronavirus. "Here I am, willing to be a direct donor to her. It does not affect any other patient on the transplant list," Jaimee Fougner, Leilani Lutali’s kidney donor, told CBS4. "How can I sit here and allow them to murder my friend when I’ve got a perfectly good kidney and can save her life?"

An Illinois state judge has kicked former President Donald Trump off the Illinois' Republican presidential primary ballot due to his alleged role in the January 6 Capitol riots. Cook County Circuit Judge Tracie Porter ruled in favor of Illinois voters who argued Trump should be disqualified from the state's mid-March primary ballot, as well as the November 5 general election ballot. Voters brought their case over Trump's behavior on January 6, 2021, when he allegedly violated the anti-insurrection clause of the 14th Amendment.

Washington — President Joe Biden is fit for duty, his doctor reported Wednesday following the president’s annual physical, in what is expected to be the last update on Biden’s health before November’s election. Dr. Kevin O’Connor said in a memo there are “no new concerns” with the president’s health revealed by this year’s physical. The White House said earlier Wednesday that no cognitive test was administered as O’Connor did not find it necessary. “The President feels well and this year’s physical identified no new concerns. He continues to be fit for duty and fully executes all of his responsibilities without any exemptions or accommodations,” O’Connor wrote.

During the episode, contestant Cris Pannullo selected a category called "Speech! Parts of Speech!" for $600. He was then presented with the words "Xem, Xyrs, Xemself," to which he correctly responded: "What are pronouns?" "Those are pronouns," host Ken Jennings responded. "Neopronouns." Xem/xyrs/xemself is a set of gender-neutral pronouns that has been adopted by some people, as well as organizations. That is in addition to some of the more commonly used pronouns, such as she/her, he/him, and they/them.

As Denver faces a budget crisis due to 40,000 illegal immigrants arriving in the last year, the city is warning hourly workers that they may be furloughed, while also considering hiring illegal immigrants to work for the city, The Daily Wire has learned. A spokeswoman for Denver mayor Mike Johnston told The Daily Wire that the budget crisis was caused by illegal immigrants being unable to work, causing them to be a drain on taxpayer dollars. The idea was to solve that by having them work directly for the city, she said. She said that a full-time salary funded by taxpayers was “not necessarily” more costly than social services.

The decision came from the Circuit Court of Cook County, and the judge put the order on pause in anticipation of an appeal.
