After a nearly 2,500-mile journey from southern California, the now estimated 30-mile-long People's Convoy is set to reach Washington D.C. Sunday morning in a call for 'freedom' and the removal of 'unconstitutional' COVID-19 mandates. The convoy arrived at Hagerstown, Maryland - the final stop before one last stretch to the nation's capital which is now around 75 miles away or about a 90-minute drive - on Friday night and held a rally attended by at least 1,000 vehicles. The group confirmed to DailyMail.com it will be spending all of Saturday rallying at the Hagerstown Speedway before journeying on to D.C.

As I have previously posted, my advice to the convoy is DON'T STOP and give them an excuse to punish you severely. Just CIRCLE very, very slowly. It will have the same effect without the sadistic punishment. Traffic on the beltway and around DC will come to a total crawl. Mission Accomplished, Freedom Truckers.

End the vaxx mandates now.
Staging a protest caravan to D.C. might not be the best of optics when the news media are hyping the Russian military convoy aimed at Kiev, though.

One violent unwarranted arrest of a trucker and I say we have a nationwide truck strike just in Blue states and cities. Let them cry discrimination all they want while they eat dirt!

Time to pivot, truckers. The BiteMe administration gave up the mandate schtick. Go for freeing us from the oil production blockade. You know what to demand.

Biden is hiding up in one of his mansions in Delaware, maybe the truckers should cruise past and give Biden a honk!

How loud would all those trucks be if they leaned on their horns at once? How far would you hear them? Is the Whitehouse soundproofed? How about the Congressional building? Bet they don't have to be close to be heard.

It is too bad that the elected President lives in Florida.

As #5 states, it looks like the mandate is over anyway. Plus the war has taken everything else off of the news, so the efforts by these truckers have gone largely unnoticed.
I just fear that they will get arrested, and give them the same treatment as of January 6 prisoners, who are being held to this day.

The mandates are not over. They can renew them at anytime. There is still a federal 'Covid Emergency Alert' or whatever still in effect - signed in by the prez. There are still vaccine mandates for health care workers who get paid by Medicare/Medicaid. Rolling thru DC on Monday will not stop traffic - many federal employees in DC are working from home. But I agree - don't stop. The DC cops & the Capitol Police are worse than the RCMP - which trampled little old ladies with their horses. The truckers have been having rallies at a track near Hagerstown 80 miles from DC. People are petitioning to be heard, telling their tragic stories of lost jobs, destroyed businesses, relatives dying of covid because of 'mandated CDC' treatment guidelines, vaccine injuries etc. Save our kids.

Is there an MSM blackout on this convoy?

I’d suggest that the truckers simply park their semis blocking off every entrance and exit ramp on the Capital Beltway. No supplies get into DC and no one gets out unless they take 2 lane back roads.

The truckers should not enter DC proper. Traps and incidents are waiting for them there. Circle the Beltway, disrupt supplies except health and emergency, and pivot to energy independence.

The streets around the White House are basically blocked off and have been since 9/11. Once, one could walk right up to the driveway of the White House and almost stand next to the guard house at the entrance. Now everything is blocked. One can still drive by the back of the White House, the part one rarely sees on TV, but as far as surrounding the White House with trucks, it can't really be done. I agree with some that the trucker protest against Covid mandates is pretty mute at this point. Notice how all those mandates disappeared as soon as the mention of a trucker protest started to come up. Protesting the stoppage of oil production in the U.S. might be a better option at this point, but the MSM will continue to claim the protest is over Covid mandates even if the protest goals change. However, I kind of see this trucker thing as too little too late. In any event, the truckers don't even have to be near the Capitol or White House to cause a problem. They could block any number of government buildings without getting anywhere near the White House or Capitol. Government buildings and offices are everywhere and the street system in D.C. is a nightmare even when traffic is relatively light.
