President Joe Biden took a dig at West Virginia Sen. Joe Manchin in a new interview – pointing to the stalled Build Back Better plan's $500 billion in climate programs despite Manchin's gripes. Biden made the comment to with historian Heather Cox Richardson, speaking in front of a crackling fire in the China Room of the White House, when he brought up Manchin while defending his $1.8 trillion plan, which died at the end of 2021 with little movement since.
He pitched individual programs in his State of the Union, and rolled out a new 'Building America Better' rebrand on a trip to Wisconsin this week.

FTA: 'You make me miss being a professor at Penn ... I really enjoyed teaching and writing.' In fact Biden had an honorary professor position and gave some lectures at the Penn Biden Center, but didn't teach a class, according to the Daily Pennsylvanian.
He's told this lie so many times he really believes he was a professor. We have a very sick mind making life and death decisions.

Here’s why the GOP stinks. Every day they should be on every network telling about Biden’s lies. His lies aren’t even technical word games, they are flat out delusional talk tales. Give sources so people can look it up for themselves. Instead we get crickets every freaking time right McCarthy? McConnell? The Democrats and Rinos are running roughshod over the American people daily and No One but MTG Gaetz and Bannon are calling them out. The Republicans are still playing the same old game with us — wait till November blah blah blah —what the hell they going to do if the Dems cheat and win again? Write a strongly worded letter! Oh by the way Bill Clinton is restarting the Clinton Global Initiative after a five year hiatus, why? Because nothing has been done to stop them-same crap different day!

So the University of PA paid SloJo $900,000 just to keep him from teaching a class?

FTA - Biden: 'If you want to reduce the burden of people who are struggling to pay for a gallon of gas ... there's other ways to increase their overall standard of living,'
What an arrogant, stupid, heartless, and, at bottom, anti-American thing to say! So tired of the urban-concentration-dwellers telling the rest of the country - the 90+% of the US physical geography that is THE home to hard-core Americans - that they should just move to urban centers to take advantage of public transport and elbow-to-elbow dwelling and daily life. That's what this is really about. No thanks.
To a lot of people, that kind of life is no different than the claustrophobic, depressing public housing and ugly tenement lives of old Soviet and Com Chinese cities. Look at the crime and discontent that festers in all such places. It may satisfy a malignant nanny-state need to enforce a cradle-to-grave "efficiency", to try getting us all corralled into Daddy's big people-movers going nowhere, but I do not see that it increases my standard of living over the simple right of self-determination. As if that was a concern of theirs, anyway.
These controlling, autocratic, lemming-cretins just don't get that an easy, at-will mobility and independence is in the DNA of most Americans - partly born of necessity and partly for pure soul-supporting happiness.
Messing with my ability to be who I want, where I want, when I want, is not just something you can swap out for another government "gimme" to "enhance" my quality of life. Playing with the price of oil and gas as they are doing, trying to engineer us into a balkanized mindset, is a PURPOSEFUL crippling of the traditional American mentality by the arrogant "elite" sociopath class, not even to mention the direct effects it has on every product, service and (pretty much) activity of our lives.
I know this is at the heart of their intent: to herd us all together into great high-rise cities with electric short-range public module-movers to make our ever-more-controlled existences more "efficient" - but that's our point, isn't it?.... We don't want to live someone else's grand plan of efficiency so they can line their pockets with unperturbed, predictable cash-flow - we want to be free, happy and prosperous.
Seems to me that the media is generally missing the real truth about the powerful emotional interest, compassion and support the American (and other) people are expressing toward the people under siege by Putin in the Ukraine. I believe it is so compelling partly because we find ourselves strongly empathetic, with a kind of identification and displaced rage at the crimes and maltreatment we are experiencing from our own leaders.
In that sense, we are ALL Ukrainians at this moment in time.
FJB, America's Putin.

I bet Manchin has a far better understanding of the Build Back Better scam than does Joe Bidet.

My late, demented, bf, Hubert, believed that he had received an appointment to the Naval Academy at age 19. That was not true.
My sister in law, suffering from dementia, had to watch her daughter go through a divorce,. where the son in law was nicer than the daughter.
Sister in law complained when son in law's parents stopped the flow of dollars to daughter and grandchildren.Sister in law said, 'They never did anything to help (daughter and son in law.)'
When I pointed out that her son in law's parents bought a car for each of her two grandsons, a car for her daughter, and a car for son in law, PLUS a house(!) sister in law said, yes, but they are not doing that any more.
I tried to explain that she should not expect the in laws (building contractors, by the way) to keep buying stuff, sister in law couldn't understand me.

I really believe that this idiot, Xiden, thinks that no one will remember that he never taught a class and that his professor status was only honorary. What a clown. This is what is leading our country, wow, we are in trouble.
