ergei Lavrov has repeated his warning that World War Three would be nuclear while at the same time accusing the West of fixating on his dire threats of destruction. The foreign minister also compared the US to Nazi Germany in his latest rant after Russian forces seized the Black Sea regional capital of Kherson in Ukraine, its first major city after a week of fighting. Vladimir Putin's lackey said today: 'It is clear that World War Three can only be nuclear.

Comments:

Russia is behaving worse than the Fourth Crusade. They are absolutely surrendering all religious legitimacy. Third Rome? Gimme a break. I doubt Putin could list the Ten Commandments. That pesky Thou Shalt Not Kill. The deliberate destruction of innocent human life is always gravely immoral. Yeah, laugh, "Third Rome" Got a big destiny launching nuclear bombs, Third Rome? Want to come to the altar and give your life to Jesus any time soon, Third Rome?

I do follow one maxim. When a person says they will do something, they will do it. Sometimes they don't. Sometimes we are surprised by the follow thru. The surprise is usually commented on as, "But no one thought he/she/him/her/it/what/that/this was serious. This idiot states that there will be nuclear missiles launched? We should back off. If they state it again we have the right to preemptively to turn them to glass.

Putin has been acting like nuclear war is a one way affair in which only the West will be destroyed or made to suffer grievously. Biden is undoubtedly weak but the US has the unilateral capability to destroy Russia every major Russian city, with North Korea's, Iran's, and China's thrown in for good measure. In an all out exchange, nobody walks away unscathed, so Putin had best hope that if there is war it isn't nuclear. Even our degraded military appears up to the task of halting Russia in its offensive tracks, if not send it scampering back inside its own borders.

Oh boy, Lara Logan appeared for an interview with Tucker Carlson and shouts a big trumpet. In essence, Ms. Logan points out the current situation in Afghanistan is exactly the outcome those controlling the Biden administration want. There is a benefit to someone or some group in the current outcome; because if there wasn’t, the outcome would be different. I happen to agree with this perspective because there are so many options that could have been taken before this point in the crisis was reached. We have seen this play out before [Bathtub Principle] where a crisis is created because the crisis has a purpose.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is being compared to Winston Churchill during World War II; he is leading his people during perilous times to become an inspiring figure. Joe Biden has had one of the most disastrous first years of a presidential term in US history. Yeah, Abraham Lincoln had the Civil War and George W. Bush had 9/11, but there’s a difference between events being forced on a president and a president causing events. Biden managed to completely screw up the response to COVID despite being handed vaccines upon taking office. More people ended up dying on his watch than under the Trump administration. Then there are the foreign policy boondoggles, from Afghanistan to what’s currently happening with Russia. But if that wasn’t bad enough, Biden also turned the border into a humanitarian disaster.
