A Malfunctioning Joe Biden Delivers an
Incoherent Speech on a Dead Agenda

Original Article

Joe Biden’s State of the Union lingered far too long, but the general theme was made clear within the first 30 minutes: This is a man with no accomplishments and he knows it. Honestly, even as a conservative, I expected more. Biden’s speech was badly written, devoid of memorable moments, and came across as a rehash of everything he’s been saying for the last two years. The applause lines felt painfully manufactured, and the president often stumbled over his words — and that’s when he wasn’t coughing. The first part of the speech focused on Ukraine in an obvious attempt to soften the audience with a topic most agree on.

At one point in his rambling rouser about Ukraine, didn't he say that Putin was mistaken if he thought he was going to win "the hearts of the Iranian people"?

Halfway through his speech he began shouting for some reason. That really turned me off. Near the end of the speech he said that cancer was the leading cause of death, second only to heart disease. How can it be leading if it is second? Off script? Bad speechwriter? I was absorbed on the internet in a series of texts with my grandson but I heard the comment about Putin and the Iranians and asked my wife “Did he say Iranians?” FUBAR!

RE: a poorly written, rehash speech: I speculate that the writers used phrases, stories, and concepts that Biden is already familiar with. Biden is a man in serious cognitive decline. New things, especially a lot of new things to describe a "new" course would have thrown Joe completely off the rails. The writers let the senile, old guy babble his stories. It's scary that even Joe's rehearsed patter is becoming incoherent. Now the WH spin doctors will tell us what he "meant".

I can't understand why or how a guy who sometimes is so confused he can't make a sentence or find his way off stage can also give an hour-long speech? I don't think anyone can do Dementia On Demand. They can be told to read the teleprompter, but whether they actually do that or instead start trying to sit on the lectern is totally unpredictable. So yeah, I get it that he must be drugged...but what are these secret drugs? Somewhere, someplace in the world, other people or doctors HAVE TO know about such a potent drug cocktail. It really bothers me that Biden can sometimes pull off what appear to be miracles. And how come they sometime allow him to revert back to being a doddering frail pathetic creature? Why don't they pump him full of the miracle cocktail the moment he leaves Delaware?

Joe Biden was malfunctioning when he arrived in Washington DC almost fifty years ago. Biden is a low IQ idiot as he was when younger as the Banjo Boy from Deliverance. This was boiler plate democrat talking point lies, all of it. We have a clown circus standing before us call themselves our leaders, not mine not ever. I was wondering since I didn't watch this crash and burn episode what the reference was to 'toxic dumps' now I know it was a lead in the son Beau's tragic death from cancer. While goofy Joe was in the reminiscing mode, he should have told the story of Corn Pop again. FJB

As the war in Ukraine grinds on, most Russians are unaware of what is really happening amid a new crackdown by President Vladimir Putin on the few remaining independent media outlets. On Friday morning, Russian lawmakers passed a law introducing jail terms for anyone who publishes so-called fake information about the country's armed forces. The law carries a sentence of up to 15 years in prison for journalists or other people who spread military information that the Kremlin deems to be untrue. At least two independent media outlets have been taken off the air this week after officials accused them of reporting false information, which means basically anything that is not being published by official Russian sources.

Joe Biden has had one of the most disastrous first years of a presidential term in US history. Yeah, Abraham Lincoln had the Civil War and George W. Bush had 9/11, but there’s a difference between events being forced on a president and a president causing events. Biden managed to completely screw up the response to COVID despite being handed vaccines upon taking office. More people ended up dying on his watch than under the Trump administration. Then there are the foreign policy boondoggles, from Afghanistan to what’s currently happening with Russia. But if that wasn’t bad enough, Biden also turned the border into a humanitarian disaster.

In smaller Willacy County, GOP votes jumped to 26 percent of the vote share, from 8 percent in 2018. In Hidalgo County

Across America, jurisdictions are ending covid-related mandates and shutdowns. No more masks! No more vaccine certificates! Get the kids back in school! Of course I think these developments are all good; I have argued from near the beginning of the epidemic that shutdowns and mask mandates are useless and counterproductive. But why are liberals in government now throwing in the towel? The standard explanation is that the extreme measures taken to “combat” covid have worked, along with vaccination. Thus, because of the great progress we have made, life can get back to normal. Joe Biden framed it in typical fashion

Washington- The Supreme Court on Friday reimposed the death sentence for Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, reversing a federal appeals court ruling that had voided it. By a vote of 6-3, the court rejected defense claims that the judge at Tsarnaev’s 2015 trial improperly restricted the questioning of prospective jurors and was wrong to exclude evidence of a separate crime two years before the bombing. Tsarnaev was convicted of joining his older brother, Tamerlan, in planting and detonating two pressure cooker bombs at separate spots near the marathon finish line in 2013. The blasts killed three people and left hundreds of others with serious injuries.
