The United States and its allies announced Saturday an agreement to take aim at Russia through SWIFT, a service that facilitates global transactions among thousands of financial institutions.
"We commit to ensuring that selected Russian banks are removed from the SWIFT messaging system. This will ensure that these banks are disconnected from the international financial system and harm their ability to operate globally," the leaders of the European Commission, France, Germany, Italy, the United Kingdom, Canada, and the United States, said in a joint statement.

Always with the weasel words. "select russian banks" meaning not all, or more likely not the important ones.

Gee! A three fingered slap on the wrist.
Have a few drinks and work your selves up to an o'bama 'red line' warning.

Once again China is the winner, and the US is the clueless loser. What will happen is that European customers of Russian oil will now be forced to pay for the oil by under-the-table alternative means. China's banks have already set up an alternative transfer system, one that is backed by their yuan and not the US dollar. The EU customers will now have to sell dollars and buy yuan to pay for their Russian oil and gas. The price of oil goes up because of the restrictions so Russia wins, and China skims transaction fees off the top so they win as well. This also solves their other problem which is the falling yuan that makes their imports more expensive. The shift to the yuan will prop up their currency value without them having to do any buying themselves. The selling of dollars will drive the dollar down exacerbating our inflation problem by making our imported products even more expensive.
Here's my predictions based on this hypothesis. Monday the yuan will spike up and the USD will spike down. I'm watching the Wisdom Tree CYB ETF as a proxy for this, but GLD will probably spike up in concert. The irony is I'm really hoping I'm completely wrong. because the future of the USD as the world's reserve currency hangs in the balance.

Biden you cheater, either it's a complete cutoff of all russkie banks to SWIFT or it isn't. If not a complete cutoff, don't waste our time. Quit half-assing it, pal.

"...selected Russian Banks."
Translation: "We'll pick a few innocent banks to screw over, of course, none of which will remotely affect the Russian govt, or Putin and his cronies."
The Biden admin knows his voters are too stupid to pick up on this, and will think something is being done, when NOTHING OF SUBSTANCE ACTUALLY IS.

The NATO countries, including the US are paying a lot of lip service in front of the cameras to back Ukraine while in the background worrying about their own behinds. Oil.

Yeah...yeah...it's always "select banks"...which means...only the banks that aren't important...Europe has always been a dollar short of any real effort...so now that the biden cabal isn't stepping up to defend Europe...this is their response to the Russian tyrant...pathetic...

"I need ammo, not a ride." - Zelensky
Holy crap. This is the stuff of epic heroes. I'm putting that quote on a blue and yellow background as my permanent screensaver. And must it be said? (Yes, it must.) Regarding the two Presidents (US and Ukraine)...one is a comedian and the other is a now legendary leader...take your pick.

At our house, we are concerned/worried that the media, including Fox News, is ignoring what is going on in our Country and focusing on a country 5,000 miles away that Hunter & Joe Biden made millions $$$ of dollars off of. We have The People's Convoy of truckers driving across our country, from CA to D.C., to protest the mandates and the tyranny of this Biden Adm. Where is that news????? We are being gas lighted! Look over there, don't look over here!

Not the time for FJB to get cocky. We have record inflation, supply chain disruption, illegal alien invaders to give Welfare to, the military under Token Austin and Medals Milley, and useless vaccine mandates to keep US in submission. We are circling down recession. Bring back Donald Trump the Great.

Online banking in the cashless society of the NWO has already proven its danger in Canada. Private citizens had their bank accounts frozen. The Rothschilds will bring their own world banking system down in their arrogance.

I smell a rat. ''SWIFT said it was aware of the joint statement on the new measures.'' Yeah, but it only said it was trying to ''understand'' the details. Not much was given to complying with the details (if any). Those are weasel words, so easily quoted by the very media people who would gladly love to see the United States go down (or up) in flames.
