Left-wing Ignorance On Display: AOC’s
Juvenile Visions of Capitalism and Socialism

Alexandria Ocasio Cortez (AOC), US Representative (14th district of New York) holds that capitalism, the economic system in our United States that people from all over the world risk life and limb to enter any way they can, is “irredeemable.” Her contempt for capitalism is matched only by her love of socialism: “The emphasis in socialism is on democracy. … It’s just as much a transformation about bringing democracy to the workplace so that … we don’t check all of our rights at the [workplace] door because … as workers and people in society, we’re the ones creating wealth.”

A few short years ago this person was a complete unknown, going about her purposeless life irritating only those unfortunate enough to have to work shifts at the bar with her. Now she has been elevated to spokesmodel for socialism and the un-American way--all because she was deemed to be a cute novelty. I can't recall his name (and won't waste time looking it up), but the congressman who stupidly thought his constituency was in the bag should be publicly shamed. A little effort on his part to get out his vote would likely have spared us this nitwit nightmare.

Socialism is not progressive. Socialism is not new. Socialism has existed since First Hunter brought home first boar, and First Wife insisted First Hunter share with First Mother in Law, or sleep on First Couch. If First Hunter had brought home a rabbit and said no, the world might have taken an entirely different turn. What is new, is that First Hunter was never asked to, and never would have, fed mouths that were actively working to destroy the tribe...

I was about to say Sandy Head is not ignorant, rather she is stupid and evil. But then I realize she must be all three at the same time, about the same things. For instance, if she read this article; She would not understand the reasoning to most of it, stupidity, the parts she understood but disagreed with she would lie about, evil, and ultimately dismiss any of the conclusions from it, ignorance. And no, Lexand, I don't want to date you. That may have gotten you where you are but doesn't work on everyone.

afaik, socialism is a real word meaning the government owns it all, and so called capitalism is name calling by socialists that they use to describe all other systems. It is a framing of the issue in terms favorable to socialism, as it is used to point to all problems in societies that don't have a government that owns everything. It is not a meaningful word afaik. It is only name calling. People have weakly accepted it just as if yes we are all Yankees Doodle Dandy and here is why that's great. No No. It was never anything but name calling, this word.

revelation buried in a cache of documents opens a new and potentially important investigative corridor for Special Counsel John Durham. The shady tech executive who featured prominently in the federal indictment of Hillary Clinton campaign lawyer Michael Sussmann was also communicating with a covert group of computer scientists skilled in mining internet data. This revelation raises concerns that the man referred to in special counsel documents as Tech Executive-1, Rodney Joffe, may have shared sensitive government and private internet data more broadly than previously thought. Joffe’s role in Spygate represents one of the most recent developments exposed by the Special Counsel’s office.

This is a story that first surfaced earlier in the week but hasn’t gained a lot of traction yet. (This is perhaps understandable given the situation in Ukraine, but also likely by intention.) For the first time in decades, the CDC has changed many of the recognized milestones for childhood development in terms of speech and cognitive functions. These markers are considered important in terms of recognizing when children aren’t progressing quickly enough, suggesting the potential need to determine if some sort of impairment is being observed and if the child may require greater medical attention.

The trial of two Finnish Christians for publicly stating mainstream religious teachings that reserve sex only for heterosexual marriage is heading towards a judgment scheduled for March 30. The case could end up hitting Finland’s Supreme Court and even the European Court of Human Rights, which means its outcome could affect the rights of religious believers and political dissidents across the world. Member of Parliament Paivi Rasanen and Lutheran Bishop Juhana Pohjola have been prosecuted now for nearly three years after Rasanen tweeted a picture of Bible verses in June 2019. Complaints about this tweet led to her prosecution under Finland’s “hate crimes” laws.

Although it’s impossible to predict economic crashes with certainty, a key economic indicator suggests the U.S. housing market is on the verge of an unprecedented crash, one that could end up being the biggest in America’s history. Following the 2008 stock and real estate market crashes, the Federal Reserve, Democratic-led Congress, and the presidential administrations of George W. Bush and Barack Obama began an unprecedented effort to pump new dollars into the financial system — and, to a lesser extent, the economy at large. The strategy behind the flood of quantitative easing, government takeovers, stimulus checks, and government welfare programs that followed

Today in Finland, lawyers for Member of Parliament Paivi Rasanen and Bishop Juhana Pohjola will make their final arguments defending the two against “hate crimes” charges for publicly expressing their Christian beliefs. While intended to suppress Christianity and criminalize the Bible, with ramifications for the entire West, the prosecution has also created opportunities to proclaim Christian theology all over the world, Rasanen told The Federalist in an exclusive interview last week. “I was happy to have the possibility to also tell the gospel—the solution to the problem of sin—in front of the court and in front of the media,” she said.

After we published our List #5 a few weeks ago, one of our readers, Greg Ennis, left us this simple comment: “Who the hell is left?” Thanks for your input, Greg, and unfortunately, depending on the industry, that’s an excellent question. With the technology and apparel industries, for instance, finding alternatives to the companies on our list isn’t easy. Nonetheless, it’s important to understand the companies with whom we’re doing business. And just because there’s no viable alternative for an insidiously woke monopoly or oligarchy right now doesn’t mean there won’t be other options in a year.

A three-year battle in Vermont is coming to a head over Proposal 5, an amendment to the state constitution that would enshrine existing Vermont abortion “liberties” to terminate pregnancies up until birth. Roe v. Wade established “viability” as the determinant of when state governments hold a “compelling” interest to protect children. The current challenge to Roe in the Supreme Court concerns a Mississippi law that would ban abortions after 15 weeks. Vermont’s Proposal 5 essentially defines fetal viability at 40 weeks (birth), ignoring both Roe and the science of human development.
