One of the most challenging obstacles working against ordinary citizens in the West is the self-satisfying presumption that Western institutions and philosophies are inherently immune from the rise of totalitarianism. (snip) The growing tyranny in the West has not happened overnight. (snip) Western governments are terrified of their people today. They are terrified of what their people believe, or else they wouldn't feel compelled to criminalize thoughts as "hateful." They are scared to death of what their people might say to each other, or else they wouldn't engage in mass surveillance and blatant censorship.

It is surreal. We always believed that if our "leaders" believed the country exists as a vehicle for the citizens to achieve their greatest potential, and that the constitution is revered as a divinely inspired document, that such things could never happen here. Sure, we studied Tammany Hall and Huey Long in school and understood political corruption, but it was primarily for the enrichment of the crooks, rather than the enslavement or eradication of the populace. It could be survived. Now we have a whole nother matter. Our very survival is in peril not because of a foreign enemy but at the hands of people we may have elected. And it doesn't matter who we vote for because they all do it. If history books are allowed to be written when this is over, they should prove interesting.

The Jan 6 hearing are the democrats screaming "this should never happen again". However our Declaration of Independence actually says it should, whenever the government no longer represents the governed. That is the foundation of this nation. Our people do not get their rights from these self serving narcissists who crawl the swamp in DC, We get our rights from our Creator, it is what makes us the unique nation that people from the world over want to come to. They seek a freedom like no other. No politician can give you that freedom and none can take it away. It is our birthright. Our representatives work for us and the day they forget that is the day they should be voted out of office. This November will be the most important vote you have ever cast. Be sure to be there to send the very loud and very clear message that we are a Nation of Free men and women and we intend to stay that way.

Obama is a rat helping himself with the garbage spread out long before he arrived; from Kenya—Indonesia—Hawaii—finally Chicago. The rot started with Woodrow Wilson (Father of the IRS). FDR implanted many of the bureaucracies currently draining the taxpayers’ dry. All the democrat presidents (plus (R) Nixon and the (R) Bushes keep the system in place. We started to dramatically lose our national character in the Sixties. Now, we are under the thumb of the same Sixties radicals and their spawn. Obama was simply someone who tipped over an already rotted institution.

Obviously this is a test run for the US. Trudeau didn't pull the trigger until Biden said go ahead. We are being distracted with Ukraine before the plan is put in place here. US Truck Convoy will be the trigger. Biden just extended the emergency act we are under.

I hate the left, the Democrat Party, the schools, the churches, the judiciary, the healthcare system, all the government. They are all tyrants, liars, and thieves. The country would be better without all of them. Run your own life. You don't need to pay a third party to give you back a few cents to pay your bills. The government is as useful as an extended car warranty, where you pay up front, then have to beg for your money back to pay your bills, and they decide what the contract says, change it whenever they like, and dictate what you can spend your money on. The government is bribing and threatening the hospitals, schools, states, with cutting off federal money, which is our money.

Failing cable news nets CNN and MSNBC

There is a certain symmetry to the notion that the spokesmouth for the failing Biden administration reportedly is being assiduously courted by the two failing cable news networks, CNN and MSNBC, both of which have endured near-catastrophic ratings declines in the era of Biden. More Biden cowbell… yea, that’s the ticket. A scoop report by Dylan Byers, formerly of NBC and now the founding partner at media website Puck, gushes over Psaki and the reported talks she or her agent are having with the two networks. (snip) Paski’s job is to make the Biden administration look good and sell its performance to the American public. Let’s see how she’s been doing

At least one criminal case that Democrat activists filed against Trump may be ending with a whimper. You may recall that there’s a criminal fraud case against Trump in Manhattan. To the New York Times’s manifest despair, it seems that there is no evidence of an actual crime. Things are so bad that two of the lead prosecutors on the case quit when the District Attorney expressed serious doubt in the case. In 2018, Cyrus Vance, Jr., Manhattan’s then-District Attorney, charged the Trump Organization and its chief financial officer, Allen Weisselberg, with tax fraud allegedly related to overvaluing properties to obtain bank loans.

Everyone recalls Biden’s remark that the U.S. might soft-pedal its response if Russia engaged in only a “minor incursion” in Ukraine. Well, surprise, surprise! Given the green light from Biden, Russia is unilaterally annexing only a portion of Ukraine. (snip) Put another way, Putin just grabbed one-quarter of the country and a much greater percentage of its mining and heavy industry. Significantly, he did so by claiming that this is what the mostly-Russian people in those regions wanted. Which brings me to Arizona, Nevada, and New Mexico. Putin’s model was to “seed” the Donets Basin region of Ukraine with Russian-speaking, Putin-loyal immigrants,

Vlad Putin, the evil though very calculating chief oligarch of the shriveled nation of Russia (when stacked against its predecessor, the Soviet Union), is playing chess over the fate of Ukraine, while our figurehead president and his gaggle of administration mediocrities (here being charitable) and Pentagon toadies play checkers. I’ll venture this wager -- though with modest reservations: Putin will bring Ukraine into his orbit without sending his troops en masse into said country. On Monday, Putin recognized Russian-dominated regions of the Ukraine, followed by a minor incursion of "peacekeepers," travelling by bus, not APC.

Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is having a rough week with Senator Ted Cruz. Her vastly inflated opinion of her own intelligence has once again led her out on a limb that Cruz is only too willing and able to saw off for her. (snip) AOC released a video in which she bragged about getting stimulus money to "huge amounts" of illegals. (snip) When he saw this video, the senator "pounced," as the Washington Post likes to say when conservatives reveal progressives' hypocrisy: "I tried to prevent Democrats from giving stimulus checks to illegal aliens. 'Fact checkers' said Dems weren’t trying to give illegal aliens stimulus checks. They were wrong."

For more than six years, the media have set out destroy President Trump with lies. (snip) It takes a tremendous amount of effort for most of the media to collude to bury truthful stories of corruption while reporting fictional stories to bury Trump. Think of how low Biden’s, Clinton’s and Obama’s poll numbers would be if the media reported the truth instead of actively campaigning for them. That is why they bury the stories, to intentionally mislead the public. That is pure dishonesty. The media and others also use the term “progressive” to intentionally mislead the public about radical leftist policies.

The Secret Service is telling Republican investigators that it cannot find communications related to Hunter Biden’s travels for 2010, 2011, or 2013 — when President Joe Biden was the vice president. Republican Sens. Chuck Grassley of Iowa and Ron Johnson of Wisconsin sent the Secret Service a letter last month seeking unredacted records tied to Hunter Biden’s travels between January 2009 and January 2017. They asked for full travel records and criticized the agency for years of “inappropriate redactions” — especially related to a controversial Kazakhstan trip in 2014. The senators also lamented that three years of documents seemed to be missing entirely.
