Establishment media on Tuesday panned Special Counsel John Durham’s court filings that alleged Hillary Clinton’s campaign associates spied on Donald Trump’s campaign and presidency. After more than 48 hours since Durham’s court filing revelations were reported, the New York Times and Washington Post finally wrote articles on the subject, but they cast doubt on the filings’ significance. The outlets framed their articles around criticizing “right-leaning media” for “carefully” scrutinizing “off track” narratives that are “often based on a misleading presentation of the facts or outright misinformation.”

Did anyone expect them to do anything else?
I fail to understand why there is such a huge need to protect a washed up loser drunken evil witch. I’ve come to believe that the left is suicidal. If not, why would they let this creature continue to show her face and represent them?

There's something pathetic about people who just won't stop digging their own graves.

WaPo and NYT are still useful: they make great fireplace tinder, line bird cages, fantastic in a pinch when you do drywall spackling. Just not to read.

Careful use of the term "wire tapped." Quite possibly the placement of servers by a criminal partner does not technically meet the formal definition of "wire tapping."
And what's this word salad? "Upon close inspection, these narratives are often based on a misleading presentation of the facts or outright misinformation."
Who gives a spit what has been the case in any other narrative, tell us what's incorrect about this specific one. And by the way did you apply that same skepticism regarding the initial Russia collusion narrative?

The media that explodes like a cannon with a negative Trump story goes off like a cap pistol with a negative Hillary story.
many of the problems in America today are the fault of a "free" biased Press.

Sorry to break it to you #2, but they aren't digging their own graves. Last I saw, the media is still winning. And they will continue to do so.

Of course they did. The alphabets are complicit in the Democrat shenanigans. And they will applaud Garlands Saturday night firing of Durham.

#1 The media aren’t attempting to protect Hillary. They are protecting themselves. They are the ones who invested 100% in this scandal from the beginning and gave themselves awards for doing so. Now that the truth is coming out a large part of the story is about them.

Got to love the timeline. Bad news drops. The players gather in the war room to discuss appropriate responses. 48 hours later they all repeat the same message. From print media, the telly and the WH press room they will parrot the same talking points.
Durham better not go anywhere near Fort Marcy Park - he'll find himself suicided.

Wow, it took them this long to come up with their game plan and this is all they can come up with? How do these people sleep at night, defending the indefensible like they do.

Can't wait for the "History of the Clinton Family" movie....Their crimes are historical...they have sold illegal poisonous blood, illegal dope, one quarter of the U.S. uranium inventory ,fraudulent charitable programs, gave billions and actual nuclear fissionable material to N. Korea, and military secrets to the Chinese for illegal campaign funds. They are now sitting on a personal bank account of over three billion U.S. and will probably receive half of the ticket sales from the movie. How stupid can 350 million people be???

That is proof that Durham is zoning in on the target, or maybe even directly on top of the target.
Or, they would be digging into these allegations more instead of trying to provide cover for those involved.
After all, the news organizations have retracted many articles on this topic to ensure they can't be held liable for their previous reporting, so they know something else happened.
