New York actor and comedian Michael Rapaport posted another online video Sunday from his local Rite Aid on the Upper East Side — this time saying the store is closing down because of incessant shoplifting. The post was an update to a video Rapaport put on Instagram last week flipping out about a purported shoplifter brazenly walking out of the Manhattan Rite Aid with bags full of stolen goods. “Back in my Rite Aid and there’s nothing to steal because this Rite Aid, like so many other Rite Aids, is closing down because everyone stole everything,”

Comments:

Rite-Aid is racist!

No, it is closing because of Soros prosecutors and extreme leftists in the local and state government. THEY put in place the rules that make it impossible to run an store any more.

Why do "food deserts" exist in certain minority areas? In my area a large city nearby has guaranteed that grocers will profit and be compensated to cover shoplifting and crime. But the stores still close because no one wants the liability of having their employees harmed and property destroyed. It is a culture which is self defeating and self perpetuating.

All that remains is somebody should spray paint 'Who is Jon Galt' on the closed Rite-Aid. Perhaps it should be written on every closed business in NYC.

Put a wall around the city and keep them all in to live in the utopia they voted for. When they are all done violating each other and doing away with each other we can take down the wall and reclaim the city. Start over so to speak. Preferably getting rid of the white supremacist's that aren't white. (if you get my meaning).

At the height of the George Floyd protest a lot of stores were pressured into removing locked cabinets for personal care products. It was 'racist' to prevent shoplifting. I have noticed during recent trips to Wal Mart and some other retailers the locked cabinets have returned. Wal Mart also has a low-hanging camera in some of the aisles.

Many years ago, when you went grocery shopping, you told the clerk at the counter what you wanted and he went to the back and got it. Looks like this will become the norm again, but with the clerk behind bulletproof glass and a one-way chute to slide the goods to the customer (after he pays, of course).

Getting old is neither easy nor fun. It’s part of life, and it’s a challenge we all must face. One key aspect of that challenge is being able to stay current. We must strive to not only understand the changes affecting our families, our individual health, and our own spheres of influence, but we must also work to grasp the realities of an ever-changing society. Neil Young is a 76-year-old singer/songwriter and, based on his sparse musical output over the past few decades, his recent focus has not been on producing compelling, appealing music. And after what we witnessed this week, it’s also safe to say that Mr. Young

The U.S.-backed Syrian forces were able to retake control of a prison after Islamic State terrorists launched a sophisticated attack to free their brothers in arms that has experts concerned about what it means for the ISIS threat going forward. The dayslong assault focused on the Gweiran Prison in Hasakah, Syria, last Thursday saw roughly 300 ISIS operatives detonate multiple car bombs before converging on the facility, Voice of America reported, citing the Syrian Democratic Forces. The facility housed roughly 4,000 ISIS and another 700-850 boys and teenagers.

His father, David Ferguson, said his son — who is fighting for his life in the hospital and is in desperate need of the transplant — doesn’t believe in the COVID-19 vaccine. “It’s kind of against his basic principles, he doesn’t believe in it.

Last week, I wrote about Resistance excitement over a claim that Republicans "forged" phony Electoral College documents in an attempt to fool the world into thinking President Donald Trump won the 2020 election. It turned out there was much less to the story than met the eye. Now there is another seemingly sensational story about the period when Trump was still in office and refusing to accept the results of the election. Last Friday, Politico published an article headlined, "Read the never-issued Trump order that would have seized voting machines." The piece included the text of a White House "draft executive order,"

Once again, we had several candidates for the week’s top knucklehead, with the primary competition coming from our esteemed Commander-in-Chief once again. President Joe Biden had a press conference for the ages on Wednesday and seemed hellbent on being named KOTW for the second consecutive week, something that has never happened. With Biden’s buffoonery becoming tiresome – and with the possibility of simply declaring Biden as Knucklehead of the Century and being done with it – we decided to honor Sleepy Joe with just an Honorable Mention this week, and to opt instead for some misguided college kids.

Blinken and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov met in Geneva for roughly 90 minutes Friday in the latest attempt at diplomacy, more than a week after diplomatic talks involving the two nations and NATO broke down. During the meeting – which Lavrov called “constructive and usefu l– the US reportedly agreed to provide Russia with a written response to their demands

Los Angeles’ top prosecutor has been ripped for putting the public at risk with his soft-on-crime approach after two women were killed allegedly at the hands of homeless men in the last week. Longtime prosecutor Jon Hatami told Fox News on Tuesday that LA District Attorney George Gascon — and other progressive prosecutors across the country — needed to be voted out. “Nobody should have a district attorney who refuses to file charges against murderers and rapists and child abusers to the fullest extent of the law. That person does not deserve to be the DA,” said Hatami, a fellow LA prosecutor.

A majority of Americans says in a stunning new poll that U.S. democracy is at risk of 'extinction.' The assessment comes in a new poll near the anniversary of President Joe Biden's first year in office, just days after the anniversary of the Capitol riot. About half, or 26 per cent, said U.S. democracy's survival 'is secured for future generations,' according to the poll from Schoen Cooperman Research. Slightly fewer, 23 per cent, said they weren't sure, with 51 per cent saying democracy was in danger of extinction. The result comes after President Joe Biden spoke about the Capitol riot

On a regular basis, we receive comments and feedback from readers questioning the wisdom of not honoring President Joseph R. Biden as that week’s top knucklehead. Our responses generally include some variation of this statement: We could justify Biden being KOTW every week, but we have to change things up a bit. However, there are other weeks in which Biden outdoes himself by putting on such an impressive display of buffoonery that we simply can’t ignore him. Such was the case this week. Winner: Joe Biden’s presidency is disintegrating before our eyes, but the president is clueless as ever.

Former Vice President Mike Pence is dropping anchor in South Carolina as he prepares to mount a 2024 White House bid. Pence is headed back to the Palmetto State in April and May as part of a deliberate strategy to build support with conservative activists and Republican operatives in the state that hosts the third primary on the GOP nominating calendar — and first in the South. Libby was convicted in 2007 of obstruction of justice and other crimes related to a leak of the identity of CIA agent Valerie Plame Wilson. The conviction was widely viewed as a miscarriage of justice, especially because Deputy Secretary of State Richard Armitage later admitted that he was the likely source of the leak, not Libby. President George W. Bush commuted Libby’s sentence, but despite the urging of then-Vice President Cheney, he declined to issue a formal pardon for his aide. It was only Trump who pardoned Libby in 2018, taking the political heat for doing so and standing up for Libby’s record of public service.
