The U.S. federal prison system was placed on lockdown nationwide following a deadly incident at a Texas prison, officials said Monday. “Multiple inmates were observed fighting at the United States Penitentiary Beaumont” in Texas, said the Federal Bureau of Prisons in a news release. Prison staff then “immediately secured the area” but found inmate Guillermo Riojas and inmate Andrew Pineda with life-threatening injuries, prison officials said. They were transported to a nearby hospital, where they were both pronounced dead, the bureau said. Meanwhile, it added, “Two additional inmates were transported to a local hospital for further medical assessment and treatment.”

Didn't we read a few days ago about prisons now emptying death row cells and will integrate these prisoners with general population? Seems like this is a red flag as to what will happen.

It's really hard to immediately see much downside to one violent thug killing another violent thug. I suppose that you want to have some sort of order, and all that. But.....there are probably plenty of those folks that we should have executed years ago, yet they are just "in prison". So, again, I really can't get too worked up about this.

Typical government directive. The disruptions were in Beaumont, Tx---so the government shut down all federal prisons. And all the government actions were taken after the event, meaning the government's actions are meaningless, and everyone would be better off again, if they had done nothing.

A COVID-19 testing company faked test results and didn’t have licenses to operate testing sites, according to a new lawsuit. The Center for COVID Control claimed to provide COVID-19 tests throughout Washington state for free and promised to provide results within 48 hours. But in reality, the company gathered patient insurance information and provided “invalid COVID-19 test results or no results at all,” according to the 14-page suit, filed in King County Superior Court by Washington state Attorney General Robert Ferguson. Former employees told prosecutors that the company, which lacked licenses to operate in much of the state, was not able to process all of the tests it received and owners

No matter how much the Biden regime and news media want Americans to forget what happened during the “social justice” protests of 2020, the public remembers. A poll taken last summer shows overwhelming support for investigations into the nationwide looting and rioting following the death of George Floyd, which caused an estimated $2 billion in damages and cost dozens of lives.. According to an analysis by a coalition of police chiefs, at least “8,700 protests occurred across 68 major cities . . . and 574 involved acts of violence,” in just a two-month span of 2020. Dr. Anthony Fauci was told in a secret teleconference that the CCP virus had very likely leaked from a laboratory in China, yet still pushed the alternate narrative that it had originated naturally, new evidence allegedly shows. Redacted emails that were recently made public suggest that Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), initiated efforts to cover up evidence pointing to a laboratory leak as the origin of the CCP (snip) virus, which causes COVID-19. Evidence suggests that Fauci also actively shaped a highly influential academic paper first published on Feb. 16, 2020, before later being printed in the prominent science journal Nature which excluded such a

Generally speaking, I am not a fan of polls. For one, I’ve never been polled by anyone. For another, the number of people being polled often strikes me as too small a sample from which to draw broad conclusions. Also, those samples more often than not tend to oversample one group, Democrats, let’s say, over another group, which again leads to questions of accuracy. Bottom line, I don’t trust ‘em and tend to ignore them in preference to the only poll that actually counts, the election itself. I’ve often asked myself, what would I do if I were to be contacted to participate in a poll.
