Knuckleheads Of The Week: Gen Z Protesters
On Hunger Strike, And You’ll Never Guess Why

Once again, we had several candidates for the week’s top knucklehead, with the primary competition coming from our esteemed Commander-in-Chief once again. President Joe Biden had a press conference for the ages on Wednesday and seemed hellbent on being named KOTW for the second consecutive week, something that has never happened. With Biden’s buffoonery becoming tiresome – and with the possibility of simply declaring Biden as Knucklehead of the Century and being done with it – we decided to honor Sleepy Joe with just an Honorable Mention this week, and to opt instead for some misguided college kids.

It's not exactly like the hippies protesting the Vietnam War, is it?

These Knucklehead of the Week columns are always fun; no exception here. And yes, the Vegetable-in-Chief really could retire the KotW trophy for the entire century. In no way is this fellow up to the job his party cheated him into. He really is the Unfunny Joke of the age. Any party that could elevate anyone like Joe and Cameltoe to power needs to become an ex-party, for the good of America. The fasting students are extremely ignorant, not to mention supremely stupid. They can starve for nothing, but they won't. Not one of them. They're just showing off, a group of pain in the derrière SJWs. FTA: There are two aspects of this protest that are particularly telling of its futility. First is the utter disinterest (sic) of the mainstream media in the story, none of them are covering it. That's good, but if the MSM aren't covering the story, it's because they're uninterested, not because they're disinterested, which means unbiased. Those two words are not interchangeable.

I had predicted that the hunger strike would come to a quick end as soon as the young protesters smoked a joint and got a craving for Doritos.

If they ever show up in Nashville, I'm going to get a bunch of friends and heat Big Mac's in front of them. And also some very delicious smelling fries.

Secretary of State Antony Blinken said Friday that the US and Russia are “on a clearer path to understanding each other’s positions” amid tensions over Ukraine — but warned his Kremlin counterpart of a “swift and severe response” if Moscow opts to invade its western neighbor. Blinken and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov met in Geneva for roughly 90 minutes Friday in the latest attempt at diplomacy, more than a week after diplomatic talks involving the two nations and NATO broke down. During the meeting – which Lavrov called “constructive and usefu l– the US reportedly agreed to provide Russia with a written response to their demands

Los Angeles’ top prosecutor has been ripped for putting the public at risk with his soft-on-crime approach after two women were killed allegedly at the hands of homeless men in the last week. Longtime prosecutor Jon Hatami told Fox News on Tuesday that LA District Attorney George Gascon — and other progressive prosecutors across the country — needed to be voted out. “Nobody should have a district attorney who refuses to file charges against murderers and rapists and child abusers to the fullest extent of the law. That person does not deserve to be the DA,” said Hatami, a fellow LA prosecutor.

A majority of Americans says in a stunning new poll that U.S. democracy is at risk of 'extinction.' The assessment comes in a new poll near the anniversary of President Joe Biden's first year in office, just days after the anniversary of the Capitol riot. About half, or 26 per cent, said U.S. democracy's survival 'is secured for future generations,' according to the poll from Schoen Cooperman Research. Slightly fewer, 23 per cent, said they weren't sure, with 51 per cent saying democracy was in danger of extinction. The result comes after President Joe Biden spoke about the Capitol riot

A UCLA grad student was fatally stabbed by a random maniac while she was working as a consultant at a high-end furniture store in Los Angeles last Thursday, reports said. Brianna Kupfer, 24, was alone and working at Croft House when an unknown male suspect, who is believed to be homeless, knifed her before fleeing through the back door and calmly walking down an alley, Fox 11 reported, citing the LAPD. Kupfer was discovered by a customer about 20 minutes later and pronounced dead on scene. The victim was studying architectural design and worked at the furniture store as a design consultant, the report said.

On a regular basis, we receive comments and feedback from readers questioning the wisdom of not honoring President Joseph R. Biden as that week’s top knucklehead. Our responses generally include some variation of this statement: We could justify Biden being KOTW every week, but we have to change things up a bit. However, there are other weeks in which Biden outdoes himself by putting on such an impressive display of buffoonery that we simply can’t ignore him. Such was the case this week. Winner: Joe Biden’s presidency is disintegrating before our eyes, but the president is clueless as ever.

A new poll revealed the challenges facing the Biden administration on Thursday, showing that only 31 percent of Americans see Dr. Anthony Fauci as a trustworthy source of COVID-19 information and just 45 percent approve of President Joe Biden's pandemic response. Biden has seen public support plunge during the past year as successive waves of COVID variants have upended his campaign promise to beat the virus. On Thursday he delivered an update on his response, but the NewsNation poll, conducted by Decision Desk HQ, reveals a country that distrusts him and his senior advisers.

Concerns over the economy are overshadowing the pandemic as a whopping 68 per cent of Americans name financial and economic worries as a main issue heading into the midterm elections. An Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research poll shows only 37 per cent of Americans name the coronavirus as one of their top five priorities in 2022. At the same time last year, 53 per cent of respondents named the COVID-19 pandemic in the open-ended question. The left has now spent two years focusing on the coronavirus responses – but the issue is receding in the minds of Americans

Our friends on the left should approve of our decision with this week’s top knuckleheads. While normally we pick just one imbecile to recognize, the competition between our two honorees this week was so strong, and the infractions so similar, we ultimately had to spread the wealth. And in so doing, we’ve inadvertently achieved the left’s ultimate goal of equity. One of our winners is a woman – or should we say, ‘a person with a uterus’ – and the other is a man; we think. One is BIPOC (will we be adding an letters to that acronym like we’ve done with LGBTQLMNOP?), while the other is white/Caucasian/oppressor-descendant.

That much just became clear, as the newly minted Manhattan DA issued marching orders to his hundreds of assistants and support staff. “Let’s do our very best to keep people out of jail, kids. And let’s really, really not sweat the small stuff.” OK, Bragg didn’t actually say that — but it pretty faithfully paraphrases the guts of a staff memo Bragg issued Monday, the first business day of his four-year term.

A 19-year-old man who was fatally shot by Metro Police in the southeast valley Monday had no connection to a murder police were investigating when they entered an apartment to serve a search warrant, police said today at a briefing. Assistant Sheriff Andrew Walsh said Isaiah Tyree Williams, 19, was shot by officers several times as they tried to serve a search warrant related to a November 2021 homicide. Two officers were injured in the exchange. Police announced their presence by yelling “police department, search warrant” multiple times at about 5 a.m. before entering the apartment in the 3000 block of South Nellis Boulevard, Walsh said.

The CDC has officially moved the goalposts on what it means to be vaccinated from COVID-19. We all knew this day was coming, even as an onslaught of “fact-checkers” assured us it was “misinformation” to assert such a change was coming publicly. But first, let’s talk about the details. CDC Dir. Rochelle Walensky appeared on CBS News and shared the news that the two-dose regiment will no longer suffice to be considered “fully vaccinated.” Instead, you will need a booster jab in order to be classified as “up to date.” That comes as part of a “pivot” in language by the government, one that many were maligned for predicting.

It says both plain-clothed or uniformed police need to keep at least 100 feet from polling stations or drop boxes.
