A House Aggrieved Cannot Stand

Ellwanger describes our situation very well: Today, the United States government has inverted the idea of sovereignty: it carefully takes account of the external demands made upon our nation by foreign powers and peoples, while it sees itself as internally sovereign in relation to the people it rules. The state does not recognize its obligation to respond to certain classes of citizens—and when the people use their vote to register their discontent with this abdication of duty, the state ensures that this discontent will be contained and neutralized. In a democracy, the regime itself is not meant to be sovereign in relation to the citizens it governs: that’s authoritarian autocracy. Democratic government is not independent from the will of the people—on the contrary, if it won’t address their grievances, then it must yield to a majority of citizens’ decision to install officials who will. Ultimately, grievance is also the political capital of our society—the state holds sole power to decide whose grievances are legitimate and whose are not. The resolute rejection of the grievances claimed by half the country has understandably provoked an enormous anger. The continued refusal of elites to acknowledge these grievances only accelerates our cultural fragmentation—and thus increases the chances of what would surely be a catastrophic “civil war”—one that they claim they do not want. The media feed the notion that the demands of some are legitimate while others (those of us on the right) are delusional or without merit. Or disregards them entirely.

A Civil War is not a war of words. They have the media and the transsexuals, but we have the guns. I'm thinking they don't want it to come down to that anymore than we do.

We are not APPROACHING a civil war, we are already IN it and have been for decades. It's just that one side has been fighting a stealth, asymmetrical war, and the other has been pretending every thing is fine. It is only now with the left in control of the media, Congress, education, big tech, the unopposed outright theft of the Presidency, and with corporations either cooperating or cowed into submission that the Marxists feel confident enough in victory that they have begun to shed their disguises and show their true totalitarian colors. And only NOW are the American people and some, but far from all, in the Republican establishment beginning to wake up and see the danger. Pray it is not too late.

This is an excellent essay. Some of the best writing I've read in many a month. The Great Reset crowd has been disassembling Western Civilization since the end of WWI. This has been a generational coup to align the world once again to the predilections of the aristocracy. There is nothing new under the sun. Human beings may have modern technology but we are still operating with the same thinking and emotions that caused Cain to kill Abel; the wages of Original Sin. Adam and Eve's sin was not so much believing Satan's seduction and eating the forbidden fruit. It was their attempt to hide from God and negate their responsibility with Adam blaming Eve, and Eve blaming the Serpent. The default position of the human being is to side-step, look away and make excuses while we glory in our own self-righteousness. God in His Mercy finally intervened to break this destructive chain-reaction of sin and death. God became man to share in our experiences, to talk to us in our language and rescue us from our own self-destructiveness. Although God holds all Authority, He still deigns to give us free will. He offers every soul the same deal; we can choose death or Life in Christ. Our founding fathers were Godly men steeped in Scripture. It took them many tumultuous decades to device our form of government; evolving from Colonial administration, war administration and an uneasy start under the Articles of Confederation. When the Constitution was finally being adopted they all recognized that the new government would only serve a moral people. When we allowed God to be removed from our schools, we began the slide into licentiousness that now manifests itself in men taking sports titles from women. The traitors of our nation have brought us to this boiling point through thousands of betrayals and reliance on our preference for peace. They are confident we will not use our weapons against them and if we do, they have the power to smash us. Exhibit 1: J6 political prisoners for a year with no official pushback and very limited press coverage. However, their great mistake is their hubris and thinking we are helpless.
