Journalist and author Bari Weiss blasted school closures and restrictions brought on during the pandemic as a 'catastrophic moral crime' and said that life must return to normal. Speaking on Real Time with Bill Maher on Friday night, the Substack journalist declared that she is 'done with covid!' 'We were told you get the vaccine, you get the vaccine and you get back to normal. And we haven't gotten back to normal. And it's ridiculous at this point,' Weiss began on the HBO show.

Comments:

The past two years of tyranny against our kids will have a negative impact for decades. She's right, it is criminal.

In my opinion, Weingarten and her teacher union members are cowards, lazy cowards. They want our soldiers and law enforcement officers to risk their lives and, while operating under maximum stress, to make every correct moral judgment. Yet they cannot risk being in classrooms with children, the lowest risk population. They are probably more likely to be shot by a former pupil than to die of Covid transmitted by a six year-old.

Bari Weiss is absolutely correct. We have done so much damage to our younger generations even more than we realize. Just now thinking besides social isolation, must get shots that don't work but don't question parents, there's the real damage of not thinking for yourself - of not being free to question. Children can actually see that masks don't work. If they did, the virus would be long gone. Wearing masks take a whole line of communication out - many feelings are expressed silently by the shape of the mouth. Britain is ending all of the pandemic, time for us to end it all. If they dems lose the next election, so be it. No more mail in ballots for everyone, including the family pets.

This has been an experiment to see how much power and control the Government could impose by using fear. It actually worked pretty well on a lot of people.

I personally would like to hear a BIG "I'm sorry!" from these liberal progressive stooges to everyone who has been screaming about the extreme harm this isolation and crazy mitigation has been doing to people since 2020. Our family lost a loved one to suicide because of Covid isolation and loss of his support network as a recovery addict. He was 35. It still hurts. And then it took months to have a funeral.

FTA: "liberals are always suggesting sacrifices they themselves don't have to take part in." - Bill Maher. When the leftist activists in the media who put these corrupt monsters in power COME TO THE LIGHT, there is hope. But historically authoritarian communists never lose power the same way they gain power. They get in by slogans, promises, platitudes, and playing on the jealousy of the masses. They only leave through bloodshed and running out of ammo.

This horror show has been a political act, an attack upon our republic by evil people. They created this virus, they created these deadly, yet ineffective "vaccines" which are not vaccines by the pre-existing definition, and they are responsible for a lot of death, maiming and huge economic damage.

I have a coworker who wears a mask, face shield, and wears gloves when she goes into any store. And she goes into as few stores as she possibly can. Amazon and home delivery as much as possible. I cannot imagine being that afraid. Some people will never accept the fact that it is time to get on with living. I just tell her to do what she feels is necessary. But do not expect the rest of us to bend because she is fearful. I work in a middle school. We are in school every day. None of us runs down the hall screaming in fear when the kids walk into our building.

Don't fool yourselves....huge numbers of otherwise sane people are STILL buying all the "vaccine" and "masks" and "shutdown" nonsense and are convinced that it "saved the country". It is FAR harder to show people that they have been fooled than it is to fool them in the first place. Once fooled, they hang on to the lie like it is their lifeline - and any attack on the lie - seems to be taken as an attack on them personally, apparently because they are now "invested" in the lie.

I am so sorry for your loss #4; I know it must be devastating for everyone who knew and loved your family member. Lockdowns resulted in various mental illnesses and the inability for some to receive the medical attention they needed. These resulted in a not insignificant number of deaths many of which were from suicide. This is beyond unconscionable and totally preventable. While I agree that people who contract Covid should be quarantined while sick and special attention should be given to protect the elderly there was absolutely no good reason to lock up those of us who were and remained healthy throughout the plandemic. Another unfortunate outcome (and part of the goal, I'm sure) is that now we know that we live among millions of fearful "sheeple". The left now knows that all that's needed going forward is to make people afraid of everything ; fearful people will bow down and accept anything to feel safe. That will never be me (2 Timothy 1:7). I pray every day that the LORD releases the real truth that has been hidden from us; also that the perpetrators of this crime come to earthly justice in addition to the divine justice that is in their futures. I expect I'm not the only one asking Him to intervene.

Be watchful for the opportunistic Left to exploit any moves to return to normal by asserting "the new normal" and "the great reset" -- code for a global-socialism takeover -- which has been their intent for the Wu-flu all along.

If coordinated lies could stop the spread of respiratory viruses, Covid would have ended around the same time it started. Remember when 200 million Americans fell for the gigantic lie that we would vaccinate ourselves out of pandemic? Remember when we were promised super effective, super safe, and vaccines that made the difference between life or death? Yeah, me too. It’s a little harder to say “I told you so” when literally hundreds of millions of people face massive health risks into the foreseeable future, but many of them have been unnecessarily cruel, inexplicably arrogant, and absolutely hateful towards anyone not willing to drink the Fauci juice CORRECTION*

The names are part of a 2015 defamation lawsuit brought against Maxwell by Virginia Giuffre, who has long claimed that the British socialite and her cohort, Jeffrey Epstein, sexually abused her as a minor, pimping her out to his high-profile friends, including Prince Andrew. Giuffre claims Maxwell aided in the abuse.

Majority Leader Chuck Schumer told lawmakers the Senate would forgo a planned recess and remain in session next week to debate and vote on two partisan election bills and a major rule change to modify the long-standing filibuster. The party’s legislative agenda, however, is on hiatus. None of the measures the New York Democrat plans to bring up next week has a chance of passing, thanks to internal divisions. The exercise is merely poised to add to the pileup of stalled legislation that has left party lawmakers with little to show as voters become more frustrated with a Democratic-controlled government.

It says both plain-clothed or uniformed police need to keep at least 100 feet from polling stations or drop boxes.

A review of the state’s voter roles showed that 569,277 voters registered on January 1, 1918. Of that number, 20% of these people, all of whom must be at least 124 years old, voted last November. Biden “won” in Wisconsin by 20,682 votes.... For regular American Thinker readers, this shouldn’t come as a surprise.
