3 Pennsylvania officers charged in shooting

Criminal charges have been filed against three Pennsylvania police officers in connection with the shooting death of an 8-year-old girl and the wounding of three others at a high school football game last year. The girl, Fanta Bility, was killed on Aug. 27 when gunfire broke out shortly after the conclusion of a game at Academy Park High School in Sharon Hill, a community of about 5,700 residents near the Philadelphia International Airport. Bility's sister and two others were injured. Delaware County District Attorney Jack Stollsteimer announced the charges Tuesday against three Sharon Hill Police officers—Devon Smith, Sean Dolan and Brian Devaney—in connection with Bility's death.

Two "teens" engaged in a shootout after a football game, as one does in The Community. Some of the gunfire went in the direction of police officers who were assigned to provide security, who returned fire and hit several bystanders, killing one. I believe that normally the "teens" would be charged with the homicide since it happened as a result of their actions, but this being New America, the angry crowd is howling for retribution, at least against the two White cops (one is black), who without question will serve a lot more time than the teens. Setting aside procedural issues and poor training, who in their right mind would want to be a police officer these days?

Actually, the article says that the officers fired in the direction of the field, not the crowd. Do our posters think they should have just joined the crowd and watch the bloodshed? Sheesh!

Blame the cops who tried to stop a gunfight, not the killers who actually started it. Must be another Soros anti-cop prosecutor.

Who broke out the gunfire? The charges and the initial paragraph make is sound like the cops came in firing in a rage.

It is part of the culture to have gunfights at events. America must accept this and adjust to this culture, not react with taking the threat out.
