COLLEYVILLE, Texas — Hostages who had been held for hours inside a Texas synagogue were rescued Saturday night, according to Gov. Greg Abbott, bringing an end to a standoff that had lasted nearly 12 hours. “Prayers answered. All hostages are out alive and safe,” Abbott tweeted. Abbott’s tweet came not long after a loud bang and what sounded like gunfire was heard coming from the synagogue, where authorities said a man had held people captive as he demanded the release of a Pakistani neuroscientist who was convicted of trying to kill U.S. Army officers in Afghanistan.

In Texas, they let their police do the job. Saves a lot of problems when you let a police-fired bullet join the negotiation effort. Red states solve problems.

I guess he gets his 72 virgins now. I hope they all look like Nancy Pelosi and Rosie O'Donnell!!! Every synagogue and church in this country need to have armed guards, or at least welcome concealed carry members to do just that!!! With the uber-weak administration that we have now under Impotent Joe biden, the islamoterrorists know they have little to fear for their actions!!!

Good riddance to this islamic jerk. Think of the money saved from prosecuting them (if it was allowed to begin with considering the DA) plus the cost of incarceration (unless the DA announced 2 months was long enough).

The AP should be ashamed, they touted CAIR as an honourable organization. CAIR is the worst sort of terrorist organization whose full-fledged support of America-hating HAMAS and the Muslim Brotherhood remains a scourge of the earth.

Did you hear about the dead jihadi ----- who, after blowing himself up finds himself in a place with an irate white guy beating the tar out of him. After that beating. he gets up and says 'What is this? I am supposed to be honored with 72 virgins" The irate guy says, "Your guys misunderstood. I'm Thomas Jefferson and I'm very angry about what you guys are doing to my country. George Washington and James Madison will be along soon, and they are just as mad." The jihadi protests....."But my 72 virgins!" Jefferson replies, "That's 72 Virginians, your religious guys got it wrong, and we're all pretty angry about it, you're not going to like what you get, beatings for all eternity."

In early 1918, when World War I entered its final year, the H1N1 influenza A virus infected millions of people, causing the Spanish flu pandemic. By April 1920, after four waves and almost 100 million deaths, the pandemic ended. H1N1 became much less deadly and caused only ordinary seasonal flu. It had become an endemic virus. Will history repeat itself? After two years of the COVID-19 pandemic and four waves of different variants, will SARS-CoV-2 become an endemic virus? I almost feel sorry for Joe Biden. The emphasis, I hasten to add, is on the adverb. Perhaps, if he didn’t make me feel thoroughly sorry for the United States of America, my sympathy for him would be unalloyed. But even many in Biden’s own party are aghast at his performance as president. It’s almost a matter of smell, of that sixth sense that alerts sensitive souls to impending disaster. Animals somehow know when an earthquake is coming, even before the ground begins to tremble. The far-left activist Stacey Abrams is well endowed with those antennae, which is why she invented “scheduling issues” and gave the president’s speech in Atlanta

It’s official: Democrats are the biggest drama queens on earth. In 2022, Democrats will be faced with a very difficult problem. They have no issues and no accomplishments on which they can run successfully. By next November, the economy will be a political dry hole for Democrats as it’s very unlikely that inflation will ease, and chances are getting better for the double-whammy of inflation and a slowing economy. Domestically, their agenda is stalled and doesn’t appear to have much chance of getting through the Senate.
