"We Failed": Danish Newspaper Apologizes

In August, Germany's top newspaper, Bild, apologized for the outlet's fear-driven Covid coverage--with special message to children, who were told "that they were going to murder their grandma." Now, a newspaper in Denmark has publicly apologized for reporting government narratives surrounding the Covid-19 pandemic without questioning them. "We failed," reads the article's headline from tabloid Ekstra Bladet, which goes on to admit that "For ALMOST two years, we--the press and the population--have been almost hypnotically preoccupied with the authorities' daily coronavirus figures." [translated] (Snip) Will other news outlets have the journalistic integrity to follow suit?

The German newspaper is to be commended for its courage in acknowledging their news coverage has been less than it should have been. For example, to admit that it was not as attentive as it should have been about questioning authorities regarding the difference between people being hospitalized with corona and not because of corona because the difference is significant; further, that “authorities and politicians” involved in this “historic crisis leave much to be desired.” How extraordinary it would be for more newspapers and television news media to follow Bild’s example and restore integrity to the profession of true journalism. “The power of the journalist is great, but he is entitled neither to respect nor admiration because of that power unless it is used aright.” ~ President Theodore

I do not think this newspaper should be commended at all. These sob's have lied to us for 2 years. People have lost their lives, businesses, people have been ruined because the media pushed, supported and rammed all of the Globalist Elite BS down our throats. I think the media needs to be sued and prosecuted for malpractice and causing harm and death to the population. Our media must be held to account for pushing communist propaganda. This must not be tolerated.

#11,#12~ Without question newspapers and all mainstream media are guilty of publishing articles that have not been totally factual and contributed to harm, suffering and death; however, people of faith must not forget there is forgiveness in sincere repentance—to “go and sin no more.” (1 John 1:9 ~ 1 Timothy 2:3-4) Time will tell if Bild pursues a renewed effort in honest journalism.

Iran’s imposition of “sanctions” on dozens of Americans amounts to an assassination threat against members of former President Donald Trump’s administration, according to a senior U.S. official who threatened “severe consequences” for any harm done to them. “Make no mistake: the United States of America will protect and defend its citizens,” White House national security adviser Jake Sullivan said Sunday. “This includes those serving the United States now and those who formerly served.” Iranian officials have made explicit their interest in killing one of the people involved in the U.S. strike that killed Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Gen. Qassem Soleimani.

Iran has vowed ‘revenge’ if former U.S. President Donald Trump and ex-Secretary of State Mike Pompeo are not put on trial for the 2020 drone strike that killed its top terrorist operative Qassem Soleimani. Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi demanded the former U.S. president face judgment according to Islamic law and called upon all Muslims to avenge Soleimani’s killing. “Trump must face ‘God’s ruling’ and suffer ‘qisas’, which is the Islamic term for retaliation in kind,” Al Jazeera reported citing the Iranian president’s televised speech that marked Soleimani’s second death anniversary.

Members of our military pledge their loyalty to the Constitution. Its First Amendment guarantees freedom of religion. So, it would be perverse to force men and women in uniform to abandon their deeply held religious beliefs to serve their country. Yet that’s what’s happening regarding the COVID-19 vaccine mandates--for which the normal rules seem not to apply.(Snip)But whatever your view, this is clearly an ethical and theological dispute. The military is denying requests for religious exemptions because ill-informed officials disagree with the theological views of service members under their command.

As we get closer to the two-year mark of “two weeks to flatten the curve,” it is evident that the panic-driven policies issued by “experts” and promoted by the establishment media have a wide array of very damaging, unintended consequences. One group that has been collateral damage in this “war on COVID” has been school-age children. Teachers demanded school lockdown and remote learning.(Snip)Inevitably, this pandemic will end. When the damage is assessed, those who pressed for the closure of schools (including those in the media) should face a very harsh set of consequences themselves.

Jim Jordan doth protest too much.(Snip) Jordan is quite familiar with weaponizing congressional investigations to go after those he considers his enemies...(Snip)Jordan and most of his fellow Republicans seem desperate to keep under wraps what Trump and his allies were up to as democracy itself was under attack. That’s why they’re downplaying the severity of the attack, dismissing it as a tourist visit or “one day in January,” as former Vice President Mike Pence put it.

The “Select Committee” of Democrats and two “Republicans” to investigate the January 6 riot is an abuse of power but typical for how efficient Democrats are at weaponizing their congressional power.
